One last thing (haha) What would you all think about changing that "Go to First New Post" button right next to the topic title to good old OCR orange instead of the gray colour it is now? That would help it just pop and let you know that there are new posts. In fact, if you had that, you probably wouldn't even need the envelopes and could have more width for the posts! Who-ah!

Figured as much - I was really diggin' it and it just stopped! And I was literally working up until the very last second of the deadline to finish mine. I had only gotten to record the vocals at five p.m. yesterday, had to go to a wedding, and when I got back, the party I was hosting at my house was in full-swing. I just had to go straight back to my room and finishing editing the vocals. I'll have a final version later - but I gotta wait until I get back into town first. I just finished listening to everything - awesome stuff - great contest!

Any chance we could lose the "Hot" thread thing? It's not really necessary. Especially on a big forum like this. I don't think we need the red and mocha envelopes - just one or the other. It's superfluous, dig?

Actually, I forgot, but the "Go to first Unread" button really helps you keep track of where you were in the thread, so really, the issue I brought up isn't a big deal, djp. But adding the first five pages is nice because it'll broaden things up a bit. Thanks for addressing my concerns!

Looks great! I'd like to see one thing added. Next to a forum topic, you get 1, 2, 3, Last Page option to pick where you want to look. There's a function in these boards where you can set it to 1, 2, 3,...6, 7, 8 so that you can pick from the last three pages instead of just the Last Page. Turning that on will help us forum goers see how fast the thread is moving. I often remember that "I was on page 8" and then if the page rolls over, I can just go to page 8 by clicking 8 and not having to click Last Page and then backtrack. Just something simple that I think most people would appreciate. Thanks! And I hope this new board puts a stop to the spambots!

Intro is totally rad. Love the record sound (where are people getting this water business from?). But that's my favourite part of the song. I wasn't too big of a fan of this track in the game in the first place anyway. So I just wanted to say that the intro was awesome and nobody's done it better. Rest is great - I just didn't like the source material so much. Had it been the overworld or the cave or something, I would have shat for you. <3

The arrangement is rad and the concept is jawsome and well executed. But the fact that you changed the bass line really didn't blow my skirt up. The rad chromaticness of the original bass line is what made it so fat. You went the full step instead of using more of the half-steps to keep it that funky, phat bass line. I'm all for changing notes and chords that please my ear more, so I don't discredit. I'm just bummed, because if the bass had been more true to the original, I would have loved this instead of just liked it. Glad to see you back, though. I love your work.

I don't think that's necessary. How would you feel if you saw that there, knowing the only reason anyone listened to it was because of that? Doesn't seem necessary to me.

This track is totally awesome. I wish more people would check it out. We've gotta get some more reviews! Having spent a lot of years in marching bands and concert bands, this is a real treat to hear. I have absolutely no reference to the original music, game, or even the system it's on, but I sure love it. Great stuff. And for this time of year - folks, you've gotta get this on your Christmas CDs. Give it a listen!!
