The cake is a lie, happy birfday.

Understandable, the walls in your apartment are paper thin. You guys need a regular house. Where you don't have to worry about noise. Heck, my neighbor's bands practice next door in their basement, and I barely register any sound. Unless I'm listening for it, I don't hear it. It's nice.

THIS THREAD IS SILLY! Also, I hate it when I'm interrupted, and also the noise from the fans in my recording area. I record at my desktop, and unfortunately, turning off my fans makes the room blazing hot. Anyways...this is a rather boring thread. So someone spice it up and get that title changed.

Dyne replied to Murmeli Walan's topic in General Discussion
I still think that rocks, and I do believe it's time to pre-order that game. -
I just received the following error from http://www.ocremix.org: Fatal error: Call to undefined function getforumdatabaseconnection() in /home/ocremix/public_html/includes/config.php on line 231 I didn't know where else to put it. What's going on? Site update?

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo on Live and PSN
Dyne replied to bustatunez's topic in General Discussion
...and now I have a good reason to fire up PSN. I haven't played on it in a while, and I really should start playing some more MGO soon. I have The Force Unleashed pre-ordered. I can't wait for it. It looks so worth it. -
Excellent. I'm looking forward to it.

You are now +1 year older. Enjoy your day. You are the pride of <insert subject's home town name here>, Aetherius! May your birthday be a HUGE SUCCESS.

Not often that I get to post here in Non-Remixes. But tonight's a little special. It's the first original WiP that I'm actually happy to share. It's called "The Project", though that's a working title. I thought I might procure some feedback on it. It's only one minute and four seconds in length, but it'll become longer eventually. I thought about dubbing some rap lyrics over it, but I need to write those up yet. On this track I used synth1 (presets brastring and Solo Synth, audjoo_helix (preset JN_Gated), Analog Warfare (preset DnB HP Bass 2), FPC (presets Jungle Time and HipScratch 4). Please keep in mind I'm new to music production, I'm still learning, and this is part of the experience portion. So please be fair in your opinions on it. I think it's actually pretty good considering my beginner/novice skill level. Anyway, that's all for now. Here's the link: http://www.williammichael.net/music/original_wips/the_project_sketch1.mp3 Updates I've been playing with the project a bit today, and taking Beatdrop's advice, I decided to play with percussion a little, added some new hits with a couple of hats, a rim shot that sounds like a cross between finger snapping and clapping, as well as a Lead section comprised of two synth1s (both preset to Saw Lead). Find it here: http://www.williammichael.net/music/original_wips/the_project_sketch1.mp3 Believe it or not, I'm almost tempted to turn it into a remix of a track from Super Mario World, because I think it'd work. Anyway, feedback = win. So I've been working on it since I've been home again, and here are two more sketches. I won't be uploading any more until I have more than just the first minute and a half. So check back often. http://www.williammichael.net/music/original_wips/the_project_sketch2.mp3 http://www.williammichael.net/music/original_wips/the_project_sketch3.mp3

True, but I really want to see this project come to fruition.

Happy Birthday bLiNd! I hope you are well, and healthy, and have a happy birthday!

I know that The Damned is banned right now, but that doesn't mean that this project should die. I'm looking forward to seeing this project get completed, and I'm sure there are a lot of others out there as well, waiting on it. So what's going on guys? Think we could get this put together or what? Heck, I know you all know that I'm not with it musically, but if there's something I can do to help, let me know. PM me or something. C'mon, let's go.

I'm definitely coming, but I'm going to try to get some others to join me. If not, it'll be me flying solo again. Also, I may not make it til the evening/late-evening of January 2nd again because I won't know if I'm off of work until then. However......... I'm going to soon reserve my room, and if things change, I'll just cancel it and re-reserve. It's possible. I love the Hilton! (Stayed in one for Otakon, and it was awesome!)

HOLY SHIT! Damn Dom, those are some amazingly awesome skillz there man. Edit Alright, I think from now on we should label any kind of BBQing that we do as a group an OCRBQ. It just sounds cool, and it makes sense, at least to me! -

I didn't see her either. Also, I don't know what she looks like, and I had to try to keep myself out of artists alley anyway, last year I spent the majority of my cash there. I still haven't framed any of my artwork from Otakon 07. -

I'm here at Otakon, well, presently in the hotel room at the Hilton. Let me tell you, this is quite awesome. We are no more than 3 blocks from the BCC. Other than the slight rain shower (read: half hour long pour), things went well. The pre-registration was awesome, in and out in under an hour, and the line was wrapped around the building just about rounding a third corner. Not bad. I can't wait for tomorrow, there's a showing of the Live Action Death Note at 6:00pm in the HD Theater. So I'm looking forward to that. It's just going to be awesome, and then I can't wait for saturday for the OCR Panel. See you guys there. Oh, I was also wondering if there'd be any meet up besides Xerol's BBQ. If not, no biggie. Just wanted to know. -

Gladly. Btw...where's your stand again? -
Actually, that's a heck of a good idea. I mean, considering the demographic spans the whole world, why not have personals?
