  1. This remix alone wouldn't be enough to prove that DJP is crazy, although the part that begins at 1:20 makes me think the other way. But other than that, the music in this piece is just superb. The country guitar playing its happy tunes and strings together with a hillbillie and a weird sheep, I mean this is classic! At first I thought that the quote that this remix began with was made of Cletus in the Simpsons, but this arrangement got some extra bonus points when I read that you were the one doing the vocals. The only downside with this may be that you overused the voice, after a while I got tired of Bubba shouting YEE-HAA. The music is an entirely different thing, since I really can get myself into it, it's simply awesome to listen to. So in my opinion, the part between 0:25 and 1:07 was the best since you could focus on the music itself. However, I still find the idea with some crazy redneck talk hilarious, so as long as it makes me smile, it's alright. Nice work.
  2. Roger that one, and I'm glad that I did. To start out with, I'm really digging this tune, McVaffe always seem to make great remixes when it comes to instrumental and foreign genres. Those drums in the beginning made me think of Africa, but it changed quickly into something more ancient sounding, I dunno bout the country but that harp synth sure sounds fiiiine. However, it doesn't make you wanna go wild, neither it's not very suiting as background music, or at least to me. This fits better for when i'm relaxing, turns on my mp3 and just chills to whatever track that comes out. When it comes to this song, it feels like you only can enjoy it to the fullest if you take some time and really listens to it, to all the instruments and samples that it contains. That way, you can understand how much work this piece needed to become complete. Or something like that, you have to decide on your own. At least I know what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna download this.
  3. Now this is pure unrefined trance! It builds up power, releases it and then restarts the cycle again, but with new sample equipment for every round. I'm not really that kind of person that knows much of this genre, but you can hear that it's trance since it contains those special echoing synths that gradually increase and decrease their volumes, working together with the beats and basses, making this into a Super Duper Mega Sega Woofer Turbo remix with a tempo that kicks both ass and eardrums. Great and awesome sir Nuts. Truly.
  4. I never thought that Jive was going to have the rain through the entire song, but I guess that I was mistaken. Good thing that he has waterproof equipment. Anyhew, it was a little slow to begin with. The rain and the mellow synth got boring after a while, so it was a relief when I started to hear a beat building up followed by a piano sample. 2:14, that's when the it started to get a little serious, but there wasn't really a moment where it reached its climax and unleashed everything it got. Some new elements such as a synth around 3:00 and a dark electric guitar around 4:30 enlightened the situation so that it at least didn't get repetive. I'm still amazed though, the remixes i've listened so far to that was from jivemaster has been very active and fast, so it comes like a surprise when I listen to such a calm and thoughtful arrangement like this one. Nice work, trying something new should be something that we all should do from time to time. In this case, the result was good.
  5. Christmas, eh? I sure can feel it. Or at least hear it. The bell pad being used sure makes you think of it, and as other already have pointed out, it's very cheerful and happy, so it's very hard not to smile while listening to it. Favorite part must be at the end, right at 1:54, when some piano joined in together with the bells to create a far more better effect. My only problem is that he should've brought it in sooner, just when you're starting to like it starts to fade away and leaves you unsatisfied. Oh well, can't have anything I guess. What I did get was a tough, trippy and apparently dusty remix of a game I really should checking out. Very nice remix indeed. It could've been worse. It could have been nearly 5 years and only 5 reviews. Oh wait....
  6. Well I can mildly say that this one caught my attention from the beginning, it began with a blast with high-paced synths and beats, lots of them. This is one of those typhical remixes that you can't sit still and listen to, since there's always your left foot or head that starts bopping or at least moving along the rhytm. Compared to the beginning, it was rather calm after about one minute or so, then took an another gasp of breath and started out once again, only to stale into something more slow. It was mainly the same samples being used, there wasn't a moment when suddenly a new element jumped out of the shadows to surprise you with a new melody or beat. The best part of this remix was the beginning, that I can say. MOAR LIEK CHAOS EMERALDS M I RITE?
  7. This one gave me goose-bumps, that's a proof that i really like this one. The main reason is because of how he made this remix. As it proceeds, he adds more and more samples to it, so that it buolds up into something bigger and more impressive. Like the beginning for example, it first began with a silent synth and some rather dark beats, and shortly after he added bells. I thought of this as a problem at first, since the bells didn't fit in at some places. But when he added one more synth at 0:48, it was like watching a jigsaw piece being put at the exact right place. Now everything matched each other like a hand and a glove. Then it just kept going, and when the main melody kicked in at 1:52, the puzzle was solved completely. It's simply beautiful, amazingly well done even if this remix is more than 4 years old now. I'm in awe, I'm giving this my highest score. Fantastic work LeeBro.
  8. A very mellow piano piece, it sort of lulls you back and forth. I liked it when Rexy took up some speed around 1:60 and started to play on some brighter keys. I don't recognize the actual melody, but since some of the songs from that game haven't really got stuck in my memory, I guess I'll just have to play it just once more. But overall, I liked this. Instead of playing many keys at once, it had its own pace and own rhytm and didn't have too much balls in the air at the same time. Wonderful arrangement, and well done.
  9. It took a while for me to find this thread, those folders had me confused a while. First thought when this began was how soft and mellow the guitar was, somehow makes me think of those children programmes I used to watch. The lyrics wasn't bad, not bad at all. If I listened closely, there was times when the vocals differed from the guitar and such, but now that I have it as music when I'm writing this, you don't hear the differences and instead only hear the recemblances. Nice work.
  10. Since I haven't played this game, I didn't listen to this one when the album first came out. However, I think I can make one exception. I like the heavy atmosphere this piece has. Several strong beats and synths makes a good combination, even if the synths aren't first class. The bass in the beginning together with the piano created a smooth walkover to the more busy and lively part of this arrangement. As I said, I liked it, this remix has a strong and heavy yet a little creepy feel to it.
  11. Oh man oh man oh man oh man I know this song, FINALLY someone made a remix of "Judgement Day". Elements such as electric guitar, strings and a dark piano to begin with really makes this arrangement worth listening, downloading and then have as repeat for the next 5 hours. It fills me with respect, awe, but also sickness since I think I've been banging my head for too long now. Excellent, I'm loving it, I'm taking this. X 999998
  12. I never had the skills nor patience to actually beat that game, so I'm just happy that RH took a theme that I'm familiar with. Dynamic pieces such like these disables my ability to sit still when I listen to it, the strong and powerful strings makes my arms follow the rhytm of it and try to feel the emotions that has been injected into this orchestral creation. Well, it doesn't necesary has that deep of a meaning, but I really do feel with this remix. This a battle of many battles, and I'm glad that I at least got the soundtrack of it. The length of this remix is a good thing, I'm plenty satisfied with 5 minutes. Good that you didn't give up about this piece, maybe I should pick up my quest and turn on that game once again. Nice work.
  13. Do you mean that literally? Trying to fit several picture of female characters in one signature needs space. I can probably do some attemps at them, but that'll be tomorrow since tonight is pretty busy. And something tells me that this request is gonna take a while too.
  14. I share zircon's opinion as well, this stuff really does sound live. The melody being displayed was a nice pick I believe, the brigher keys playing brought some new life into this song. I don't really know what else to say about this, makes me happy that technology has gone so far now that you don't need to play piano to create such beautiful pieces like this. Knowledge on how to use remix equipment is however a completely other subject, so let's not go there. The one thing I admired about this piece is the flow, the lower keys that follows the brigher ones, it's almost like you can imagine someone playing rapidly with their fingers on top of the panel. How the melody of this theme echoes....it's wonderful. Jormungard, thank you.
  15. It took a while for this remix to get into serious business, it sounded so sad in the beginning but luckily some pwerful strings appeared to add some more power to the arrangement. The variety among the instruments used surprised me. Sure, it's a castle, but when I started to hear church bells I got a little baffled. And let's not forget the electric guitar, probably not the best choice since it's a medieval theme we're talking about here, but elements that deliver some serious kickass cannot really go wrong anywhere. Great remix, good to see that your remixal talent isn't going to any waste.
  16. Hooboy, what to say? The samples are pretty much 100% chiptunes, so far I know what I'm talking about. However, although they are chiptunes, this doesn't sound like a low quality MIDI, more like some sort of electronica. I liked how the music went from one speaker to another, the music itself corresponded good with the melody itself. Beats and synths flinged all over the scene, you could really tell that there was a tremendous battle going on between two rivals. Never thought it would be NES and Genesis though. This is one of those special remixes, it doesn't sound very beautiful but the creativity used to make this makes it worth being downloaded. I know I will. I just hopes NES wins, it should flip over Genesis to inflict massive damage. Great stuff Shnabubula.
  17. Well see about it, now that I've read your request again I might come up with at least something. Since you used the word flashy I assumed that you wanted an animated signature, which is outside my business. But if you want it non animated, I can give it a try. Tomorrow that is, it's 10:30 pm where I live.
  18. Actually, that's just my iTunes count. I've probably listened to it more since I did that PowerPoint in school. Also, I think the count on my iTunes is now somewhere in the 680's (I'm in school right now, so I can't check). With all my respect to this remix and their wonderful work, you do know that there are other remixes?
  19. I jumped in my chair at first, but that's because I needed to twitch the volume control a little to get it suitable. If the volume is the biggest problem with this, then that problem can be easily solved. Beats and bass all the way I see, Jive is going on full throttle with this and he ain't stopping until 3 minutes and 54 seconds has passed the clock. The melody itself wasn't very present, the stage was mainly dominated by the beats instead. It was still a nice use of them, my foot seemed to move all the time, and the music changed direction often and never went on the same track twice. Interesting creation we have here, I'll give some stars.
  20. Pick your size. As you cansee, I added some extra characters. And for your monopoly sig: Couldn't really find a nice token image.
  21. Zircon guarantee: Awesome remixes or you'll get a FREE IPOD!
