  1. BRING THAT LEAD GUITAR UP FOO. The lead guitar after the chugs come in needs to come up, but other than that. Good god, I'm lovin' this. Its pretty sicknasty awesome. Believe it or not I think the bass guitar could come down a little. Not a lot, or maybe cut some of the lowest frequencies out of it, I'd say do a lo cut around 33hz, and then let the kick do some work on the low itself. I actually kinda like the tone of the bass guitar, and you know I'm picky as hell about that. But I have a sub, and unless you want everyone with a sub hearing ONLY bass guitar, it'd be wise to turn it down or try the cut. In fact, that mixing may help the lack of lead issue. If you are worried about the bass being heard, increase around 350-600 hz, and that should give it some more punch. Cool beans man, if you ever want any bass playin' of the real sort, you got my number (figuratively)
  2. Only if you want the world to collapse. Geez, there can only be SO much awesome concentrated in one place.
  3. NintendoMastah, (yea I went there)

Worry not my friend, the day I stop doing vocal mixes is the day I stop thinking of halfway decent lyrics and my voice box gets ripped from all my high ass vocal arrangement.

If you want to enjoy a Mega Man track with slightly better vocals but slightly rougher production, check out this song. Its sort of a mashed together song that I'm actually going to use as the song for a piece of fanfiction I'm writing about MMX. YAY!

Keep an eye out for the MMX project too, becuase you KNOW I'm defnately gonna vocal over that.

  4. This rocks... hard. Good tones and good leads and good cameo = win. Production is top notch, and the lead makes me grin. Good job Kidd Cabbage Jon man.
  5. I would gladly be an honorary muffin and record other things. And become better at alto sax again.
  6. This is really good. So many good things about it, even when the vocal technique isn't THE BEST it just works so well to further bring the emotional content of the piece out. Thank you for this remix. I met diotrans at MAG and she was cool, glad to see she's posted. Keep up the awesome.
  7. Its okay, unless prophet comes over here, I've got them sax parts. I gotta PM PR about a coupla things though.... brb! XD
  8. Needs MOAR notice... and MOAR jamspace. Though a chance to see DS would be amazing.
  9. The temptation is strong, but my pocket book weak.
  10. "Cold Tornado" Lyrics: One day it became very cold One day it was the hearts of man... That froze because they no longer cared And that day will forever live on in infamy As the cold pierces our being We look at the storm that is Caused by the battle, between two great gods One rules the cold and one rules the winds But all we know, is that they will bring the end Of us... On that day the battle began The winds stirred and killed so many The casualties of this divine war Are too great for us to rebuild ourselves! We have spent the time we had to spare Gathering the weapons needed to fight back And as we look toward a day without this war We hope beyond anything that our plan won't fail All this time will not be a waste We will beat them back When we look back on these days We will all celebrate and laugh (x2) We faced a cold tornado Enjoy.
  11. Firstly, let me thank all of your for your warming comments, reviews and congratulatory remarks! (cheesy line imminent) It's nice to be on board. And while I have ram doing flooring at my house, and I would love to have each of you drop in and put on some Rush and eat Gouda cheese. I think it would be easier for me to just say a big. THANKS! Also, for some reason people think I sing on this... NO! I have one small harmony line at the end, but other than that, its all multiple versions of M-One. I'm glad to see my guitar playing is appreciated, it was some intense recording sessions. SO MANY BARRE CHORDS! Upthorn, I dunno why this is but a possible reason could be the fact the Mr. Bentley Jones only provided vocals and lyrics to DOAA. It was really composed by Minako Nanba. Once again, thank you all.
  12. Something about god hating you? He has exams though, you still sport a fighting chance!
  13. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/66776 old but good. Enjoy.
  14. Hey Hale-Bopp, this is the same Cyril from VGM if you remember me.

Thanks for the positive comments on my mix! :)

  15. Looks cooler now then when I was there. haha. Man, I need a three moniter set up like that. Shit! Awesome man.
  16. haha, you know I'd go if I'm unable to get to Mag. XD
  17. Aren't those really the same things, only in different terms?
  18. I would definitely prefer a not NYE Mag becuase I have family and/or band obligations on NYE. Any other weekend is good though.
  19. ORGANIZE MY MUTHAF*****' Room! Thank you.
  20. Some parts of this remind me of Pendulum, but this isn't really DnB becuase the drums aren't as wanktacular. I'm not a big fan of that breakdown about halfway through. On my systems it loses some of what I loved about it then, but then again if I were watching this on the mainstage at say... MagFest I would probably just be bobbing up and down and screaming "FOOOK YEA BIOTCH!" So, in conclusion, this mix rocks, and my floor shook. Good work all around then.
  21. Wow. Great stuff! I mean... hell, it sounds like a pro sound designer for Sega would have done it.
