Some let's players are actually genuinely funny and really good at the MST3k style commentary, which can really add to a game, especially if it's a bad or silly game in the first place. This is weird, because I think MST3k is dull as hell.

The only way to improve Just Cause 2 would be to change the enemies from generic soldiers to like cybernetic dinosaurs or something equally awesome, but other than that it's pretty much the best sandbox game.

Gotta love how Prime-series Samus was voiced by motherfucking Jennifer Hale (one of the best VAs in the industry) and she only got to do a few grunts and screams whereas now when she has actual lines they pick some nobody. I've watched the first 20 minutes of it and the whole baby schtick is really hamfisted and starts getting old quickly. At least the gameplay looks like fun.

I would define cheesy strategies as pretty much any strategy whose success is mostly, if not completely dependent on luck/poor scouting or just plain ol' micro. This would INCLUDE any form of fast teching like Void Rays, Infestors etc. It also generally requires very little skill aside from micro, which is my problem with it. I never cheese, because first of all, it would hardly help me improve my game, it would just inflate my win ratio and probably put me in leagues where I can't really hold my own. And at a certain skill level, people will be able to scout and effectively counter any cheesy strategies, so then you're suddenly stuck in platinum league with no real skills to show for it. HOWEVER it's still completely viable if you're just playing to win above all else. I don't have an issue with other people cheesing, I just don't like doing it myself. Also, 1/1/1 isn't cheese lol. If you can't scout a terran for some reason you can ASSUME he's 1/1/1ing because it's the de facto standard terran build. Not to mention that it's purpose is usually more to put terran comfortably into the midgame rather than all-inning.

Seeing as they added Sniper just now I think their "Right-click heroes with too many passives"-quota is filled for at least a year.

From what I've seen, as far as Fox news being batshit insane goes, this is pretty mild. I do love how time and time again they make vague mentions of "critics" without sources or concrete examples ( in this case one example). Maybe next time they should also write down that 95% of the population doesn't give a shit whether or not they can play as the Taliban.

I've known this song for a long time, and yeah, what can you say, it's Hyadain. It's interesting to note that I found myself often singing "My sweetest peach girl" and other parts of the lyrics under my breath while playing SMW. This really is an example of a mix that has taken on a life of it's own and surpasses the original in many ways.

I've been looking into emulating the style of Pendulum (doubt anyone here DOESN'T know them), or at least put a bit more DnB in my Rock, so to speak. Composition-wise there's no problem for me, and I have the means and know-how to do the guitars/synth lead/reese-bass, but the drum production feels overwhelming. From what I gathered, DnB drums generally consist of heavily processed samples and sliced beats. I'd love to hear some suggestions on what sample packs to look into, as well general pointers on production/beat slicing, etc. My DAW is FL Studio 8, thanks in advance.
