It's far too soon. More time is required for a proper sequel of any kind.

2 instances, both involving my friends from out of town. Both of these would probably be more funny if you were actually there, but I laughed my rear off both times. 1): Me and a friend were watching my other friend play Mercs 2. He was basically wandering aimlessly, except he was trying to get fuel. I kept chiding him that he was gonna die. And, I swear, he'd get so close every single time, but he'd somehow hide (with 1 thing of health) and let it regenerate every single time. That, plus this one time where he got blasted off of his motorcycle and crammed his face down the highway was just crazy hilarious! 2): Same situation, but this time he's playing Fallout 3. He's wandering outside of Andale, when suddenly we spot Shrapnel. Yes, the guy who's supposed to running a gun shop in Rivet City, and never ever leaves the place. Well, he somehow glitched outta there, and was basically wandering the wasteland without a single purpose. My friend was still able to buy guns from him, and Shrapnel still wanted to get a drink on "this boat." But that wasn't the funniest part. The best thing about the situation, is that my friend could shoot, blast and blow the crap outta Shrapnel time and time again, and he'd just suffer from temporary unconciousness. In no time at all, he'd gotten sniped, Blackhawk'ed, grenaded, burned and MIRV'ed to death...but he'd just keep getting up and muttering stupid crap like "What's your beef?" XD It was freaking priceless! Once, he was lit on fire, and he crouched and walked in a circle. My sides hurt for a long time after that!!!

*SPOILERS* As a Terminator sequel/prequel, it was sub-par at best. I was very disappointed in the characters and plot. The love plot between Marcus and the pilot was tacked on and not even slightly believable/necessary. As said before, the first T-800 is quite stupid for not finishing John off quickly. If it was to do it's job of *ahem* termination effectively, why didn't it just pick John up and squash his freakin' skull?! What was the point of bashing him across the room and slowly pursuing him?! Not only that, but Skynet in general is quite naive. So, they make a cyborg infiltrator (Marcus), yet don't account for the off-chance that he might choose to disobey their orders?! Couldn't they simply control his mind with a chip or something? How stupid can a self-aware mechanical grim reaper be?! All those complaints aside, this movie is great when you turn your mind and see it as only an action movie. Better than average action scenes and great soundwork! And you know what? Terminators still look fricking cool...

Experiments with Sleep (and its Deprivation)
JCvgluvr replied to Meteo Xavier's topic in General Discussion
Okay, that's something I can actually believe. -
Heh, me and my mom's boyfriend were just talking about this. They can't do that because they actually provide servers for different games and their online multiplayer. Sure, companies like EA might elect to make their own dedicated servers, but plenty of games make use of Microsoft's servers. And as a result, more people play their games online, and less lags/disconnects happen as a result. Microsoft actually puts that money to good use. You really do get what you pay for.

Experiments with Sleep (and its Deprivation)

Okay, I'm all for "The Power of Suggestion," but this just sounds like an exaggeration. Now you've gone too far! After all, a dream is a dream. To be completely obvious, dreams aren't real, and anything that happens in them doesn't happen in real life. But we all knew that already... -
Something TC didn't mention is the 4th videogame "console" that's likely to present itself in full during this E3. I'm referring to OnLive's little wonder. This will probably get moderately to heavily promoted during E3.

Zero Punctuation (Hilarious) Game Reviews
JCvgluvr replied to sephfire's topic in General Discussion
That's how it is with everything. And I do mean everything. Said activity is fun/funny/amusing for a while, then you get used to the format and anticipate that which previously surprised and pleased you. Then said activity becomes less appealing. It isn't the activity's fault... It's yours. But I've heard that amnesia or near-death experiences can make everything new again. Maybe that's what we all should do? *bangs head on wall repeatedly* -
This is awesomeness. I'm gonna show this to my little sisters, and we'll share some lulz. Has lolcats jumped on this? I'd be surprised if they hadn't!

You know, I just started getting into his reviews. He is pretty dang awesome! Although his humor sometimes becomes even more juvenile than the Nerd, I like his criticisms non the less.

As my Neurologist said, it's safer than taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen. Now, that's not so bad, is it? -
LOL of the day. Thanks for typing that!

Every play Prey on the 360 or PC? It's probably be something like that. I liked Prey.

You sleep-deprived posters need to take Melatonin supplements. They're better (and much more healthy) than falling asleep drunk! And most of you with sleep paralysis are thinking about what's known as the Lucid State. -
^This. MEHBEH AH SHUD GET TEH GAME AND KILL THINGZEZ!!!

Love the guy, and have seen all of his reviews so far. I'm not too crazy about the "stunts" he pulls in his reviews, like when he tenderized Bugs Bunny, but sometimes it's still funny. His battle with the devil was fricking epic...

I have little to no complaints for this movie besides Deadpool's fate. But I can easily overlook that. I enjoyed this movie, overall.

^Until it crashes your laptop 1 month later, like it did to mine. But that was one of the best months of my life... -
Not all of these were good, but a lot of these were great, or even better! One of the Okami boxarts was especially well done.

This is one of the best gaming deals I've ever heard of, and I never play games on my PC! If you can get this, and you haven't already, BUY IT NOW!!! -
Meteo feels like paying $60 for a 10 hour experience, or less? I can't understand why...anyway: DLC as arcade games are great. They're (usually) short, cheap, and often replayable. DLC as brand new content that only serves to enhance the game is equally great. DLC as unlock keys is lazy, and downright crooked as a business practice. Extras that should already be in the game (secret levels, weapons, costumes, hard modes, etc.) that are only reserved as DLC is equally lazy and crooked. So yeah, DLC is hit and miss for me as well.

No one ever said that 2 Links couldn't exist in the same timeline. It's not like Temporal Paradox's can be proven to exist, is it?

Are all those canons really necessary? It seems like far too much to bother keeping track of...

Just saw the latest ep. What a good show this is...sometimes I can't stand how good it is! I'm glad to understand the monster's role, but I want to know what exactly it is, and who or what it represents...is there some type of god on this island who resides in or is worshiped by the temple, or something else entirely? And just who is Jacob, anyway?
