  1. The voice clip is actually found in the new DLC. Apparently this is almost certainly fake.
  2. I've wanted an SSB-style game with Playstation characters for as long as I can remember. My only problem is that so far it seems to be only using characters from franchises currently solely owned by Sony. It most likely won't have the classic, quintessentially Playstation characters, due to Sony selling off its classic franchises. No Crash Bandicoot, no Lara Croft. It's still awesome and all, but a lot of the appeal of SSB comes from brawling with the classic characters you know and love, and in many cases grew up with. It's not the same with Colonel Radec. Though I guess there's Parappa and Sweet Tooth. And if Nintendo can use Snake and Sonic, I'm sure Sony could stretch to buying the rights to use Crash. My last hope is that it's got Scott Shelby. I don't know how, but Scott Shelby needs to be in this game! Seriously.
  3. Not sure if this thread is somewhat pointless now since the competition's over, but: It's a soundfont player. It plays soundfonts You don't have to buy the soundfont player. There's plenty of free ones, such as this one. In fact, you can find a massive number of free and cheap VSTs and samples all around the internet. Which is why I wouldn't really recommend that you bother upgrading to Signature. While it's definitely brilliant value and it definitely comes with some awesome stuff, I'd recommend just getting Producer Edition (If anything, for the automation clips alone. I jumped straight in and bought Producer Edition, but I couldn't possibly imagine using FL without them. Plus the playlist. I have no idea how fruity edition even works without a playlist.) and then buy whatever cheaper/free VSTs and samples you need. Instead of spending the extra $100 on signature, you could get a symphonic library like Garritan Personal Orchestra for $150, or Philarmonik Classik for $130 (Or if you're made of money, the full Philharmonik for $230). If you're planning on making more symphonic and classical music, you'll probably want to get a decent orchestral library. Or, y'know, an electric guitar is cool too. You could just get one of those.
  4. Uploaded my entry. Shame I can never really think of anything to put in the description box.
  5. For added effect, repeatedly shout "You shouldn't have come here!" over the top of it, at two-second intervals.
  6. Oh the nostalgia! God, I grew up with this game. I haven't PRC'd in a long time, but I'm definitely working on something for this. Edit: Uploaded. The title was the only crab-related thing that came to mind.
  7. Because the majority of people are brainless idiots who will eat whatever the mainstream media spoonfeeds them and love it, and base their music/clothing/lifestyle tastes on the general social perception of the thing in question rather than the actual content? That has to be the single most hipster thing I have ever typed. I feel I should now be wearing shutter-shades and frequently using the word 'sheeple'. This is the most enraging phrase in existence. It has the power to completely trivialize a perfectly valid (and most likely completely correct if that's the only rebuttal) negative opinion.
  8. Sam Neill did great in it, but my god, knowing what this film could've been will make watching Jurassic Park slightly saddening.
  9. And now I know what Ethan Mars would look like if he were some kind of creepy Sith lord.
  10. As soon as he started doing capoeira, this immediately started playing in my head:
  11. Happy (two-days-after) birthday!
  12. Or maybe people got sick of waiting through a '30-second' advert that freezes to buffer every 2 seconds while the "Your content will be displayed in..." counter refuses to go down during these periods. Every. Single. Time. Especially when said advert only decides to appear halfway through the episode, returning you to the start of the video after wiping the content your computer had already buffered. Or maybe that's just me. Still watch it every week, though.
  13. I think he's probably just happy to be getting so much attention. You and I are clearly on opposite wavelengths.
  14. I'm hopeful he will, since It's now awaiting approval as a video response (after taking about an hour to locate the "upload video response" button).
  15. Challenge accepted. Ladies and gentlemen... http://soundcloud.com/jerryterry/djpretzels-ass Oh god, what have I done.
  16. The Unholy War. A fun yet relatively obscure multiplayer arena fighter, where you play as a variety of mutants, monsters, and cyborgs. I still play it with a friend to this day, though we play much more tactically than it was probably intended. There was also a strategy mode, which I never really got into. It'd be nice to see a souped-up re-release as a fun PSN/XBLA timewaster (I'd imagine it'd be easy to do, being a pretty simple low-budget game), or at least a release among PSN's PS Classics (Though I suppose it's pretty obscure to be considered a classic). This. Very this. Well, Tombi! over here in Europe.
  17. Odd coincidence that this thread should appear just as I dusted off Tomb Raider 3 for the first time in years. As long as they bring back the Mansion free roam-ish mode, I'm in. Surely as a reboot they're trying to recapture the best aspects of the classic TRs (granted, whilst also modernising it), and the most satisfying Tomb Raider moment was undisputedly locking a strange, groaning man in a freezer by backflipping over his head. Amirite? Seriously though, the mansion part was always my favourite. It's a shame they removed it in the later games.
  18. I had already liked his official page, and wasn't going to enter since I assumed it was all in the US. Then I noticed he's playing in London! Hell yesh, even in the likely even that I don't win the draw I might just buy a ticket anyway.
  19. Well, just this second heard on the news that they've arrested the guy suspected of being the leader of LulzSec, and it turned out he's an unemployed 19-year-old from Britain. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/news/8589884/British-teenager-arrested-over-LulzSec-hacking-attacks.html LulzSec responded by implying that they have the wrong guy, though it's kind of a given that they would.
  20. So I'm assuming, since it says Sons of Liberty and Snake eater, that the awesome extras from Substance and Subsistence won't be included? Alright, surely not the entire ports of the MSX games, but the Ape Escape minigame, the extra VR missions and Snake Tales would be nice. Also, by "Takes advantage of the right analog stick", I'm very much hoping this means they've given MGS2 Subsistence's camera system. As for ZOE, I've never touched it. Am I right in assuming it's good, then?
  21. This is brilliant. I agree with all of them, except for shah-man. That just sounds wrong to me, and I've heard many people pronounce it 'shay-man'. Might just be because I'm British, though. Plus, I learned the word from Populous: The Beginning.
  22. I didn't realise that joke had already been used on Family Guy. Oh the irony.
  23. Oh god, yabba dabba don't! Heh. Sorry. I've always thought Seth was astronomically overrated. Pretty much everyone I know worships Family Guy. I've seen a fair few episodes, and thought it was completely unfunny, though clearly I'm wrong since the general consensus is that it's the most hilarious show ever made. In fact, there was a show on BBC3 recently all about the jokes of Family Guy. The advert even says "We'll be looking at the genius behind the brilliantly clever gags", then instantly cuts to a scene where Peter says "I tried to fart the alphabet once. But I pooped on the S". Brilliantly clever. Yes. To be fair, I've fairly enjoyed American Dad on occasion though. On topic, I'm unsure about the idea. I've never really cared much for the Flinstones. Assuming he doesn't try to inject his brand of 'humor' into it, maybe it could be alright. But it's set in the past and there are already 166 episodes; is a reboot even needed? A reboot of Top Cat is what we need. Definitely not a Seth MacFarlane one, though.
  24. Voted. (Also, just realised that I used an odd British phrase in my reasoning, so just in case: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Does_exactly_what_it_says_on_the_tin)
