  1. Spoony is awesome. The older FF8 videos were made back in the early days. Keep watching, because they get better. If you like SWAT4, you should check out his playthrough of Phantasmagoria 2, and another playthrough he started not too long ago on Ripper. I think his Let's Plays are some of the funniest videos he's done.
  2. I get the feeling that getting OCR to PAX East will be easier than getting to PAX West, so they'll probably be there.
  3. I don't think this project will be finished. In fact, it was all just a clever ruse by Arek. It's a HOAX.
  4. Out of the released projects, Summoning of Spirits took the longest, with behind-the-scenes planning starting in late April 2005, and the recruitment thread being posted on May 27th. It took 3 years and 9 months, roughly. Out of the ones still in development, Around The World is the longest, with recruitment starting on May 4th, 2005. So far it's been in various stages of development for 4 years and 2 months. Milkyway Wishes is second-longest.
  5. I have heard that he's working on an F-Zero album.
  6. Arek told me something was still going on with it. I'm not sure I believe him, though. With any luck, the release schedule just might look like this: Xenogears, DKC2, Follin, Super Dodge Ball, Link's Awakening, Pokemon, Mega Man 9, Super Mario 64 (The order of the last five may change). Needless to say, got a lot of stuff lined up.
  7. Looks like someone needs to learn the secret workaround.
  8. A few were at the zircotricks wedding and probably got back not too long ago.
  9. Not sure the stage 3 theme is here, but oh well. http://dod.redheadedblacksheep.net/past/jun05/15%20Ryan8bit-MonsterParty-Dead-DoD.mp3
  10. Gonna have to save my pennies for the next few weeks to pick this up.
  11. anne is a terrible troll. Also, The Beatles blow.
  12. I hear about:blank's Earthworm Jim "Acrophobia" remix in there. EDIT: Already beaten to the punch.
  13. He's both. Must not have recognized that it's the same forum that was used for Summoning of Spirits.
  14. You should actually do it.
  15. VGMdb lists several versions of these albums, both with legitimate and bootleg catalog numbers. Just search "Black Mages" and compare the numbers there with what you're buying to make sure you're getting a legit copy.
  16. Interesting note: This is the fourth thread to request FFMQ in recent history. Anyway: http://dod.redheadedblacksheep.net/past/decjan06/07-FlextoneJunkie-FFMQ-Shrugs-DoD.mp3 http://dod.redheadedblacksheep.net/past/jun05/08%20AudioFoundations-FFMQ-Doom-DoD.mp3 http://dod.redheadedblacksheep.net/past/jan08/19tie-Dennis-FFMQ-Time-DoD.mp3 http://dod.redheadedblacksheep.net/past/may07/21tie-BrianDavis-FFMQ-Pyramid-ICE-DoD.mp3 http://dod.redheadedblacksheep.net/past/mayjun04/02%20-%20Ashane%20-%20Final%20Fantasy%20Mystic%20Quest%20-%20Medley.mp3 Not to mention the two arrangements by Ryuji Sasai available on the official soundtrack: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQW6FDj9juw and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOqso1_NAV0&feature=related And of course, Misstik Kwest.
  17. http://djpretzel.web.aplus.net/songs/original/Mega%20Man%207.rsn Extremely overlooked, especially considering it's goddamn MEGA MAN. Take a look at the Introduction, Junk Man, Burst Man, Slash Man, Shade Man, Turbo Man, Wily Stage 3 and 4, hell, even the Stage Select theme is good. Check it out.
  18. Interested, yes. Able to go? Sadly, probably not.
