    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamen brother.... i always completely hated it when other trumpeters at festivals and stuff would scoff at me because I didn't have a "stradivarius." and now that i have one i barely even use it. nah, i don't think technology ever has or could hurt music, it's just certain composers and artists who make it look/sound bad.

    you deserve more than this but it's all i can give. huge props. as a long-time doors fan i was a bit nervous after reading the write up but just like that indie zelda track that came out recently i was blown away by the production and arrangement creativity. some will love this, some will hate it. you've got my vote though! grooooovy vibes maaaaaan.... far out.

    Posting these here since I've already pm'd Brothadom about them Station Square Knuckles' Theme(s) I probably have to edit some small things in each, and I might have some rough lyrics for a verse or two ready for the Knuckles beat after finals, but is anybody interested in rapping and/or singing over any of these?

    not going to lie. when the first link wasn't working on tindeck and the downloaded file was a 0kb unplayable mp3 i thought you were going for an avant-garde john cage approach in which the music we were supposed to hear was not the mp3 but the sounds around us. and yeah, it can be done but drumultima's mix had a lot of variation to keep it interesting yet still remain close to the source. right now it just sounds like a drum solo but not necessarily the BT pause music. what you could do though is what bands like godsmack and slipknot do with their drum solos and you could have a bunch of different drum sounds and percussions alternating between the different parts of the "melody" and then build from there.

    you nailed that nujabes/nitsua/fatjon/etc. sound perfectly man. i saw "nujabes" in the write up and i automatically knew that it was going to be good. has a somber yet calming and satisfactory feel to it, kind of reminds me of that feeling of realization after a funeral or something else along the lines of heartbreak and acceptance. then again, you've always made some highly ambient and emotional music in general. peace
