So I went back and checked behind every row, and ended up scoring Nightshade, Siren, Front Mission 4, and BG&E. 11 bucks. And then I played the Kill Bill theme in DDR SuprNova on their plasma TV setup. As they say in Kazakhstan, "great success."

Uematsu didn't do all of the FF X soundtrack, and had even less to do with XI. If you liked X's music, I would look into Hamauzu and Nakano, e.g. Saga Frontier II, Unlimited Saga, Musashiden II, etc.

I was just going through old review threads again and noticed this post. Checked it out and I have to say the resemblance is uncanny...literally note for note, except for a key signature change. And the other dude remixes game music too! Perhaps it's some sort of GarageBand preset? Then again, have David Easthope and Jill Goldin ever been seen in the same room together? HMMM...

Actually, listening to other people's arrangements usually makes it harder for me to come up with my own ideas.

You might try underclocking your CPU if your BIOS has that option. Otherwise, if it's not causing problems (e.g. beeping, hang-ups, freezing, blue screens), I wouldn't worry about it.
