finally finished Walking Dead game... What was up with that post-credits scene? I was glad they were going back to say what happened next but they kinda still left it open in a lame way and I had no idea what they were trying to say.

Consoles are trying to catch up with PC while PC has already been beyond what PS4 is capable of for a 'few years'.

Whole PS4 is strange Wii U parallel. Remote play on Vita won't match Wii U gamepad. Especially since nobody has a Vita.

I can live with some of the off notes but the low sound quality just kills it for me. Everything is clipping to the point where it's like trying to listen to the orchestral channel on FM radio... Just can't get past the fuzz. This may have been better if it weren't pushed so loud.

The Ubisoft deals are trash. If Nintendo doesn't take notes from Valve on how deals are done, they're not going to be successful in the eShop market. They're still charging $59.99 for NintendoLand. You can ALMOST justify selling that for $19.99. I actually came here to post about F-Zero though. I've already checked for it twice. It's the 20th, it's almost 4am! Where is it! I am just being impatient and silly, but the 32 cents I have allocated for this title are just begging to be spent.

Yeah if it has online co-op that would be great... if it doesn't have online co-op then what's the point of any of it.

So their answer is on-disc + downloadable free DLC that everyone else doesn't get access to? Now I'm definitely not checking this out. :-/

This would be the point where, if this was a resub on the panel, I think a jooj would have said to check into Shreddage 2 or a similar midi guitar library. As far as OCR goes the guitars need to be in tune and sound pretty decent, if not very good. The tuning is still way off, and it's something you have to have an ear for before you even start recording. If you record guitar like the part at 1:51 and you can't tell that it is out of tune, then you need to take a step back and practice a lot more before recording so you can get an ear for playing guitar... it doesn't help if you practice out of tune either. You need to get yourself a tuner, and make sure you have all of the correct strings in each spot (don't use a B string as a G string or whatnot). It's probably fine for the Cid album but it wouldn't fly as an OCR mixpost, not yet anyway... Don't give up. And don't use auto-tune/melodyne to try to fix it.

I'm still safe until that dungus Penjamin Piggs finishes overworld theme, and djp of course! Which is good because I've got to pretty much finish a commissioned job right now or hundreds of dollars will be lost, including a guy they're flying in to play a baby grand. so... sorry for the wait but I've got legit reason.

There's also a difference between bad voice acting, and you just not liking the voices. FFX was straight-on, there was only 1 line I can think of that was bad, and that was near the end of the game when you're crossing a bridge I think it was, and you come up on a few enemies, and Tidus runs up and whispers angrily at them instead of yelling.

Are you sure? I thought they only moved the front-page ones off the front page when new albums come out. Though by PAX we may well see FF9 or FF6, so there's that. Or maybe Deus Ex?

I think it would be Impulse - FF1 - Pilotwings - MegaMan X, but yeah you make a fair point. I didn't know they had to add it manually. Sounds like work. Hopefully it's more streamlined for v6. (And hopefully we aren't hearing praises and seeing demos of v6 at MAGFest 12... that is to say, I hope it comes out this year. )

Just noticed this but uhh.. is there a way we can get a link for FF1 under the Music tab? (up there on the menu bar) cause it ain't on the front page or in there so it's almost like it doesn't exist which is weird because it's one of those pledge perks so peeps should know about it eh?

People don't give a fifth of a thicket about games anymore. Everyone wants to judge the Wii U and claim that it failed without even playing the damn thing. It's a marvel of modern gaming that combines the cute with the third party, there's literally no way you can't find something to love with the new system. I spent a day just playing on Miiverse before I even had a game.

One of these days, Kotaku is going to run with your tomfoolery and make a front page story about your misappropriation of funds, and album-never-coming-out "humor". They've printed front page stories based on less. I've seen them write stories based on a rumor provided by an "insider" that was later revealed to be just something they made up.
