  1. Good luck getting Square characters in a nintendo game. Because last time I checked Squeenix didn't want to honor Nintendo with licensing out any of their characters; plus Square's a third-party developer anyway and up to now all the characters have been from first party (nintendo directly) or a second party development house (creatures, for example).
  2. What are you talking about?! Magus was a frigging pansy! I had more trouble on that giant skeleton zombie than I ever did on Magus! (Mainly because whatever barrier he changes to has a weakness, that and you could always just hit him with the Masamune to make him cry like a bitch.)
  3. dood that's Chrono Trigger noob Did someone fucking mention Chrono Trigger? I'll be actively shunning WIPs and other filters that come out of this project for maximum surprise effect months down the road. bLiNd for the win. Edit: Oh, and make the Turks / Shinra / Rufus Welcoming (if it's in) fantastic! Actually I could name at least five RPGs featuring dudes with spiky hair. But I'm not going to so HA!~ *wants to sing for you guys *
  4. I humbly offer my voice to the project. Actually it's preferable to have lyrics on sheet music; it's easier to follow the music that way.
  5. There's no trick to it? It's really just "level up until you have the insane amount of HP to beat this retardedly hard boss?" Weak. I had more in mind that it would (hopefully) give you the stats and spells needed to not get your ass raped. You know, like having almost 200 defense and 340 offense...or something like that. That or there's something you need to do first that will make the boss weaker and let you kill it with relative ease. Edit: I hate Sigma.
  6. ... has been 10-manned. A far cry from "hardest boss ever". My roommate still hasn't beat the optional last boss in Valkyrie Profile. I've never played the game so I don't fully understand anything, I just know that a single attack after she goes into "super bitch mode" obliterates his party like 7 times over. I have no idea how you'd beat a boss that does several times your max HP in damage to the entire party in a single attack. Level up more. Also, I recently reached the final boss in Terranigma. His second phase rendered me incapable of doing more than 3 damage per hit. Maybe I need to level up more. ._.;;;
  7. Aren't all fanboys like, devoid of respect? *scratches head* Anyway it's a little late in the game for me to be introducing myself (Does anyone even read this thread?) because I've been posting for awhile now (did I even post here?!).
  8. I thought this thread was locked and the song removed. GUESS I WAS WRONG, HUH?
  9. Personally I think that this mix is rather good although a little simplistic towards the middle... Which isn't really a bad thing. Lets you relax from the business of the earlier parts.
  10. Well apparently at least someone at Capcom has their act together, but as for hard bosses... Let's take a gander at a little sidescroller called Thunder Spirits. Screw the bosses, even reaching them was a challenge in and of itself! I mean but damn, I was playing it yesterday, and I used up all my continues just getting to level 2!
  11. As the official Zelda fanboy (the only one I've not beaten is Adventure of Link) I proclaim this to be the best Zelda ReMix in the universe and will now dance to it as only I can *shimmies* In all seriousness, this is quite a worthy mix and I look forward to seeing more of this quality from you. Good job.
  12. Why the fuck does Gradius 3 have a boss weaker than the one on the first level, and whose stage is insanely harder than anything else in the game (save maybe the part where the floor chunks try to kill you)?
  13. Did anyone ever manage to kill Ra in Stargate? I could never do it...
  14. I have to agree that this is an excellent remix. It's my personal opinion that this one will stand the test of time (at least I hope it will) and continue to be popular for many years to come. Worth every millisecond.
  15. Game Over, indeed. Because this remix is killer. It's going to sneak up on you, stab you in the head, and leave you feeling like you've just been at a (insert favorite artist here) concert. Well done.
  16. I'd be lying if I said I didn't love this. While the original is sparse and not really music at all, this piece is quite easily a master work of ambience and emotion. I listen to this and I can see the shocked look on their faces, see them trudging through a desolate wasteland in search of survivors, all the while wondering how this all came to pass. Excellent work and clearly deserving of an award.
  17. I may not be much with musical terminology, but I love piano remixes such as Noir's Jenova Remix...if you don't have that one you're a sinner and will have your ass eaten by rabid Gunbound players...but I digress. This remix is awesomely powerful, with a subtlety that makes you want to turn your speakers up to their highest setting. Truly, this is a worthy ReMix, and though I never really got the chance to play ShenMue, I know it's a good story with even better scoring, and this ReMix only reinforces that belief. Well done.
  18. Ah, it's about time we had another Wily ReMix. Until this came along I believe Wily Metal was the only one on the site (though I can of course be wrong). It's a nice piece and I enjoy listening to it.
  19. What about that boss in Addams Family Values, the one you have to push off a cliff? I bet a lot of people never figured THAT one out.
  20. Very short, but since level tracks don't need to be 10 minutes long, very good work. Nice and easy, not too happy but it'll get your spirits up.
  21. Oh, yes, I agree, especially seeing as how every time I face that damned omega pirate I GET THE SNOT BEAT OUT OF ME!!!
  22. Anyone who doesn't like this song should be seriously ashamed of themselves. I mean SERIOUSLY.
  23. Wow. Again with the goodness. It actually seems like he snuck in a bit of the DKC2 'Lost World' here, at various points throughout the song. Way to be.
  24. Link's Awakening is a fine game, and this is a fine ReMix. It certainly gives the impression, however, that the mazelike forest of trees and undergrowth has been replaced by the mazelike forest of skyscrapers and alleyways. Still and all, nicely done.
  25. I just lost my pants to this song. And my head. I really don't quite feel like I'm sitting here typing these words, but more that I've got a 2001-esque thing happening. It's very enjoyful.
