Well, I haven't been following One Piece religiously at all, but the few times I do watch it, they have been using the FUNimation dub which does a better job of things...never, and I mean NEVER, watch anime on 4kids. It's dumbed down, has all the violence, drug use, smoking, drinking, sexual humor, crass humor, cursing and references to death, dying, killing, murdering, etc., removed in order to make it "kid-friendly." In short, taking the role and responsibility of the parent away from the equation, and opening the door for America's youth to learn everything from the streets instead of from their families and growing up with skewed ideas of how the world operates. ..wow that was really off topic.

You know, Sonic isn't that fast in the games. Comic books and cartoon series' aside, at best he runs about as fast as the original Volkswagen Beetle. 60 MPH and not a yard per second faster. Given all the obstacles he has to navigate on top of that.... His speed hasn't been reduced in the slightest. Play the damn games, fool.

I don't normally add comments or reviews to remixes but this (and not to play favoritism given how I love the music to Super Metroid and how much I like the Metroid series in general) is a wonderfully done piece and deserves its place in the music hall of fame. Oddly enough though when I listen to it I can't help but compare it to the scoring found in the television show Lexx; I'm not sure how many of you know of it but planets tend to get blown up in that program and it, too, features a woman who can contort herself into a ball and roll around at high speed. All in all a great remix and one I'm glad I took the time to listen to it.

Do you guys realize how overdone this is by now? Everyone on this forum has been rickrolled at least a dozen times, and that's just by forumers. That's not even counting outside sources like /b/ and chat rooms.

I like how this is an unbiased review and totally not based on any sort of personal opinion or failure to adapt to changes between versions.

I'd still like to at least have the left half of a keyboard and a trackball for playing FPSes. It's just what I'm used to, that's all, I'm in no way incapable of playing games without keyboard/mouse. In fact I prefer a controller for most games, especially flight sims, though the Descent/Freespace games are probably better off with the infinite combinations afforded by a keyboard. And god help us if someone makes a Battlestar Galactica flight sim...at least one based on the new BSG. The fliptacular Viper II! Performing acrobatics that would tear an atmospheric fighter to shreds in an instant!!

I'm pretty sure that you're not going to get a reply from DiscoDan telling you that he'll get right on it and upload it just so you can have it. The mix has been posted and it fits within OCR's standards, there is no more that needs to be said about it; I'm doubly sure that he has better things to do with his time than revisit a six year old remix and 'upgrade' it to its original bitrate.

EVERYONE KNOWS, and I do mean EVERYONE, that the first Namco character to grace a smash brothers title will most likely be one from the Tales series. Or, you know, not, but given that I'm not that familiar with Namco characters to begin with I guess it's up to the execs to decide. Sure there's stuff the fans want to see but there are also things that the game developers want to put into the game which might not make it because of time constraints or licensing issues. The point here is that just because you say it doesn't mean it's going to happen. At least this time around Sonic isn't an April Fool's Day joke. And like all the other scoring and soundtrack stuff, Live and Learn seems to have gotten a nice update, too. I wonder if there's a full version included in the game or if what we heard is the extent of the vocals. (Personally I wouldn't mind seeing the Vic Viper as an assist trophy, but that's Konami and not Namco, though they both do have some decent stuff going on for them. Just at the moment I can't think of what it could be.)

You know, when a CD costs $10-$15 and there's only one song on it (fucking singles), it's times like that that I seriously consider paying for the download. Then I realize someone else already has and I can find it on a filesharing network free of charge. Which isn't to say I won't buy music, but if I'm going to get something it must be worth the purchase.
