  1. I never really got into this game, even back in the day. Something just seemed too... square... about it. Not to say it was bad (it wasn't) but I enjoyed Paper Mario far much more. I still have my copy, though. Now, if only EB made it to VC. I have a copy of that too (game and guide on ebay for $7) but it'd be wonderful to see it.
  2. Snap! I still have that mix because I am a sucker for Pollyanna
  3. I am an unashamed fan of Billy Idol's Cyberpunk. There, I said it. I don't care how cheesy Neuromancer is but I love how he sings it. I like the way this sounds. KEEP IT COMING A+++ WILL BUY AGAIN
  4. It totally is. But thanks to nintendo going "STUPID GAIJIN" we didn't see it til All-Stars. It's tough, but that's what makes it so much fun. I remember trying to figure out how to finish it when I was 5. The warp made me so confused. But then I did it. And then my friend went delete-crazy on my all-stars cartridge. Luigi and the flying Bloopers were the best.
  5. I like it. But then again, I liked the Wizard. And the Super Mario Bros Movie. And the Resident Evils. All of them. And Silent Hill. And Hitman. I like the games and I just find the movies enjoyable, I guess.
  6. Oh man, I love that music. Except for the fact that it's just one song for the whole game. I nominate Rhapsody. While the music is entertaining (to say the least) listening to "Someday" for too long may result in bleeding ears.
  7. I bought mine back in '99. I didn't sell it like a bunch of other people were doing once people declared the DC dead and I'm glad I didn't. I've picked up a bunch of games for it dirt cheap over the years. sigh. 9/9/99 nevar 4get
  8. The funny thing is, I didn't know that it went for a lot of money until more recently. One of my friends shoveled out $90 for just the cart and had a heart attack when I told her how much I got mine for. I got Little Nemo: Dream Master for $1 at a thrift store that was closing up. A while back I got a Tengen Pac-Man and a Tengen Gauntlet at Gamecrazy for $3 total because the guys at the shop like me. And about five years ago, I saw Chrono Trigger for $4. Unfortunately, it was water damaged... we're talking mega rust.
  9. Earthbound on ebay with only the guide for $7 including shipping.
  10. I'd totally be there... ...if I was even remotely close to ottowa. Sorry, but I don't think I can make it from the bay area
  11. Basically anything from Earthbound. Examples? "Hey! Parking Meters! And you're walking around! Ha ha ha, that's so funny!" -Guy in moonside "I have no patience for people who interrupt me when I'm busy doing nothing!" -Guy in Moonside "If you stay here too long, you'll end up frying your brain. Yes, you will. No, you will...not. Yesno, you will won't." -Guy in Moonside "I thought they said 'Runway Fire'" -Guy in theater "Fuzzy Pickles!" -Photographer And this classic. "Now you've done it, Roger Wilco." -Message that you done fucked up in space quest.
  12. I remember liking the old comic you had posted in your sig back in 2004 or so. Do you still have it posted somewhere? I lost it when my computer crashed mightily a few years ago. I specifically remember laughing at "It's-a me! The friendly italian stereotype!" I like this video
  13. I can't wait until they dump VGMix X. Design's like flashback to 1998 and is impossible to navigate.
  14. dA, because my flickr just has random crap on it -> http://bluelblock.deviantart.com/ flickr just for the fun of it -> http://www.flickr.com/photos/lizz_rinker/ I use an old manual film Nikon and my beloved Canon EOS 20-D. I bought the camera (or rather, my parents bought it for me) in early 2006. I'd like to get a macro lens but unfortunately I'm lacking the moneys for that. I threw down $400 for the external flash alone . And ten bucks when I misplaced the lens cap at a formal event. Stupid evening dress not having pockets...
  15. It's certainly very pretty. I had to look twice when I saw the "Nintendo". I'm rather interested in this.
  16. TechTV will always be superior to G4 or G4techTV or whatever horrible names they come up with. Invent This!, Wired for Sex, and Screen Savers... those were the days.
  17. Notably missing are the good shows. Oh wait. Those were almost all TechTV shows. Silly Me! The only G4 shows that I ever enjoyed were Icons and Cinematech (only because they showed footage from this little-known game called GADGET). BRING BACK THE PURPLE COUCH!
  18. Did anyone actually check snopes? http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/mailserver.asp <--- While the mail server report worn is real, it's not new nor rampant. As for the life is beautiful --->http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/life.asp Hate to say it, but the second one's all about philosophizing on the fragility of life instead of destroying your computer
  19. I think they knew someone who had a crane. Last year's senior prank involved filling the quad with those red partycups filled partway with water and replacing all the silverware in the cafeteria with chopsticks... which happened to be spaghetti day. Woe to the unlucky people who didn't know how to use them.
  20. And that clunking sound you made when walking into trees. *thunk, thunk, thunk, thunk* And that vomiting sound that one... enemy made. I bought Shaq Fu a couple weeks ago just because of its infamous status. The control is even worse than the original Resident Evil control scheme. You control like a forklift covered in molasses in January. Your moves do nothing and the computer kicks your ass and grinds it into the ground. Not even RAGE MODE (Shaq's mouth hangs open and he flashes red) makes a dent in your enemy's life bar. I used to rent Mario is Missing all the time when I was a little kid. I thought it was cool because it was the ONLY mario game I'd played (Pre-SMRPG) where you couldn't run out of time. Years later, I revisited it and wondered what I thought was so great about it... oh yeah...
