  1. Instead of Creating a new thread for every mix, I'll take a page out of Eluukkanen's book (and all who've done this before them) and start posting remixes to a single thread...instead of making a new thread everytime. So here we have a Samurai Shodown remix this time around that do hope you all enjoy.
  2. Hi everyone ! This one is pretty faithful to the original with few additions. And I finally found the motivation to make my own preset on the Minilogue
  3. Hey everyone! Here is a newly uploaded video of another arrangement I've made - A Secret of Mana Fantasia for full Orchestra taken from the Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu Soundtrack by Hiroki Kikuta. Secret of Mana was originally made for the SNES but has since enjoyed a remake. The music in this Fantasia include "Fear of the Heavens", "Into the thick of things", "a Wish", and "Fly into the Unknown". The pieces linked very well together in order to contrast the many atmospheres and emotions the game has in the course of the adventures it holds. Disclaimer: Original music is by Hiroki Kikuta, visuals are screenshots of in-game footage and artwork.
  4. Made Using FM Composer. Criticism is welcome. https://youtu.be/SrGSUKi4Dfc
  5. Hi there fellow video game music fans. I just released my new version of this epic theme from Strikers 1945 II. Devil's Tower is going to be hot... The original song:
  6. Hi Everybody! Here's a new piece; quite a popular piece from Link's Awakening, so Idunno how this version might be received. I was going for a "filmscore-esque" arrangement in this piece, and the use of the strings and brass playing the melody I think went very well.
  7. This is my second remix from the soundtrack to Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge, and while every piece of music composed for that game is absolutely brilliant, there is no question that Gambit's stage theme is the most popular of all the tracks. My approach to this remix can be summed up with a single word: "big." I wanted the sound to be big, and the arrangement to feel big, so the drums and synths are fat, the guitars distorted, and the organ blazing. This is the second iteration of my remix, as I was ultimately unsatisfied with my first take. The changes were minimal, but important enough to me that I had to make them. - The guitar riff at 1:22 was originally recorded in Drop D. I rerecorded it in Drop C - Added a new guitar solo starting at 2:07 - Remastered the mix to increase both the treble and the bass - Sped up the tempo by 1% Song Title: "The Cajun Connection" (Gambit Theme Remix) Originally Composed By: Tim Follin and Geoff Follin Arranged and Performed By: The Native Dialect BPM: 128 Style: Funk Hardware: Ibanez Talmon, iMac Software: GarageBand, Zebra2, Audacity The Cajun Connection Source: Gambit's Stage
  8. re-working my 2nd remix of foregone destruction (2016) i didn't like it that much the previous mix and i added more details from the original. my first remix was published in 2012 under mellow sonic.

  10. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/936547 I added a little bit of extra stuff just to fill the sound space. Tons of MIDI editing done as well. I used all Sonic 3 sound driver instruments here, but opted for 80s style drum samples because I thought they would sound better.
  11. Ladies and gentlemen, I present you the very first Super Black Bass 3 remix! Jk, but this seems to be an obscure SNES title. I couldn't even find the individual track on youtube, let alone other remixes of it. Didn't see anything on this site either, but I could've missed something. I've never played this game, but I stumbled upon the track while listening through a relaxing SNES music compilation by SNES Drunk (highly recommended), and I thought I could do something with it. Classic remake with a few of my own touches and some ambiance. I really enjoyed this track, and gave the OST a listen and found a few gems. If you like SNES music, it's definitely worth a try: If anyone out there wants to build/collab on this, let me know and I can provide my stems. Seems like there's a lot of solo/freestyle potential in this track! I'm also trash with drums (just used basic FL Studio loops), so I'm sure anyone could improve. Hope someone enjoys my rendition or at least finds a cool new (old) OST! -Juke
  12. Hi, Here is a piano arrangement of Final Fantasy 8 - Spy. Style a little jazzy, with rhythm more marked than my usual works. And a lot a dissonances. NEW VERSION : Original here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txs-MnMiP2w I was in difficulty to keep the tempo. I've for this corrected some mistakes. I think it can't be heard, I hope so Any feedbacks is welcome !
  13. Here's an Animal Crossing track called ''Able Sisters'' that I decided to a lofi remix of. Just felt inspired and wanted to give it some new life, haha. It's technically supposed to be a little older sounding as it's ''Lofi,'' but it has a driving hip hop beat on top of it. I first created a cover of the exact arrangement from the original piece (upright bass, acoustic guitar, flute, drum machine, synths), then I treated that recording as a sample to transform it into the lofi genre. Anyway, here it is! lemme know what you think! a like or comment would be appreciated if you enjoy!
  14. Yo! I made new orchestral arrangement for this Deep Castle theme from Mario & Luigi series. The original composition is beautiful and calm. While keeping the same feeling, I also transformed it a little more epic when the drums come in. The original:

  16. How bout them metroid games, yeah? I don't have my guitars right now, so I guess i'll distort some synthesizers for the time being. This was fun to make, hope you enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moa5hVR41wM Feedback welcome as always.
  17. Here's a song very commonly remixed. I used 3 different subgenres to remix this. It's a mix of psytrance/house/drum and bass. Thank you for looking!
  18. Hi there folks. Just finished my Touhou - U.N. Owen Was Her? arrangement. Hard to describe, so it's just better to see for yourself :D. The original:
  19. Hey guys, new to the site! I recently completed my remix of Sneakman from Jet Set Radio and wanted to share it here. Would love to hear your thoughts on it.
  20. Needle Man is the theme which made me start remixing in the first place, so I tried working on it again. This time with new gear and a new DAW (Bitwig instead of FL Studio) Original: Yami - Needles.mp3
