Life is not meant to be lived in a cage like a slave. You must fly free and see the what this wonderful world has to offer. https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/1tFeQMz9uModWSuQ8 This is an original work done in the chillstep/dubstep realm. Criticism is appropriated.

HI guys. This is a song I made a few ago and it's one of my favorite creations. I didn't have a style in mind for it when composing, so it's hard to describe it. You can check out my other songs from my Newgrounds profile since each one of them have a different style, but this one is which I was interested in sharing. What do you think about it? https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/992173

Just about done. Still fine-tuning it it bit. I'd love to get your feedback. Please tell me what you like or don't like. I love criticism. Criticize the crap out of it! There's synthesizers, singing, and saxophone. That about sums it up. Hello all. I just recently posted some remixes in the remixes subforum. I am new here and would like to share some WIP pieces for feedback. Here are some tracks to check out and critique. They should give you an impression of the extent to which Metroid, especially Prime, has affected my creative life. I hope you enjoy these and become immersed into the world of Metroid

Hey guys! I am new to this forum. I have been a fan of Metroid since I first started playing Metroid Prime around 2003. Here are some tracks I made. Hopefully you can judge from the tracks how much Metroid Prime has affected my creative life. Here is a new, loop-able piece I created recently. I was playing around on the piano and accidentally hit a wrong key doing an arpeggio, which struck a chord with me (see what I did there?). It ended up becoming a feature of the main rhythm . [Grammatically speaking, does the period come before or after the emoticon?] The rest came through improvising over the recording of the rhythm. Most of the effort went into getting the piano recording to sound right. The whole humanization thing is really frustrating to me, but I'm hopefully getting better at it. The other instruments I left quantized more or less. I imagine this playing in the background for some adventure game when the player is traveling inside or towards a mining or industrial town or something like that. What do you think?

I've been doing a side project over the past few years called 1000 Mice. Kind of lo-fi electronic rock / instrumental combo ("lo-fi" sonically and production wise, not chill hip-hop). Heavy emphasis on keeping it simple and utilizing some of my old school keyboards. Made to have almost a warm nostalgic 8-track sound, while still implementing some modern elements. Spaceship Moon is my most recent release and figured I would drop it here, cause why not:) Also, our label, Lo-Fi Solutions, has a lot of random stuff to offer; much unconventional rambling to be had here. Ranging from improvised hand-recorded jams to experimental hiphop and screamo. https://lofisolutions.bandcamp.com/

Taking a look back, I made music for points in my life... Places I wound up mentally. So, this was my desire to see the cosmos. Every blink of light and every violent storm is a more welcome home than Earth would have ever been. I'd sail a lonely path in exchange for never-ending discovery.

This track was just my hand at creating and 80's era song. It was very popular on Bandlab, yet seemed to rate low everywhere else. Guess it really is about location.

Made this for a Gametabs original music contest. The theme was dungeons.

Hi, they call me Ronald Poe and I hope you guys are having a great day. Here are two original trance pieces I wrote recently. Tell me what you guys think and how I can improve them. They're both character tributes meant to evoke their respective character. I'm probably not good enough to pull either theme off but here goes. First is a fan-made Palace/character theme for Makoto Niijima (Persona 5). I went for a somewhat elegant yet rebellious trance piece. I know she's a popular character so there's a bit of pressure. It's done in my signature style. https://soundcloud.com/dark-ronald-poe/honor-student-demo1 Second is a Dark Psytrance (or at least my interpretation of it) tribute to Venom (the Spiderman villain). This is my first attempt at Dark Psytrance and I felt the style might fit Venom well. It's a little more melodic than most Dark Psytrance but who cares about that. I personally think Venom would make a great bonus boss for Kingdom Hearts 3 but ...

Something I wrote and did a while back. I'm playing the flute, and I wrote the background music. If I recall correctly for the background music, used notation software to command a Roland keyboard, and recorded the result.

Here's a new original of mine added to soundcloud. Still have a bit of finalizing to do, but it's one of my favs.

Hey everyone! I'm new to posting around here, but I've been a long time lurker (for over 10 years now I think). Anyway, I only recently got back into producing music in FL Studio, which was a hobby of mine in high school, and I feel like my first few tracks have turned out pretty good! For today, here's my first lo-fi hip hop release. I plan on doing more in this style, which I've been listening to a lot lately. This is by no means my main style of music, I also like to produce dance and trance music, as well as an occasional hip hop beat. I would totally produce jazz if I could, but my setup is really minimal right now and better suited to electronic music. By day I'm a gospel keyboardist, singer, and songwriter, so really I just like all things music Anyway, here's the track, and I hope you enjoy! If anyone has feedback on the mix or arrangement I'd love to hear it. A little more info on how I made this: The track was made in the latest version of FL Studio, using a free electric piano sample as the base. The beat was drawn in by hand, and partway through production I purchased a Nektar Impact LX25+ midi controller (which is awesome by the way) and I used that to play the synth lead and do some of the automation. All mixing/mastering was done in FL Studio, and I'm aware that it's not perfect and I have a lot of room to improve, BUT I actually was really happy with the mix overall. Thanks for listening!

Title is still a work in progress I was going back through some really old tracks I had start and came across this little gem. This track is over two years old and finally got a proper work over now that I have better plugins. I also got the chord structure from a very famous piece of classical music can you guess it?
