I saw this and 3 or 4 others yesterday night on youtube. Does anyone know whether these sketches are exclusive youtube things, or whether they're in promotion of something, like an upcoming show?

I couldn't seem to find solid info, but I'm guessing from the introduction and his youtube channel that he just decided to animate a couple of shorts for youtube.

Possibly Family Guy cut-away jokes that didn't make the final cut lol.

Reasonably amusing stuff anyway-be sure to check out the others.

EDIT: also, seeing the creepy Burger King guy in Seth MacFarlane's animation style made my day. Sneak King ftw xD

lol XD i found it mildly entertaining, and i have to agree that Peach deserved it. Sorry to all the haters out there, but, it was definitely better than most things on Newgrounds, and its always great to have pros making video-game cultured cartoons and references.

Seth McFarlane is a comedy genius

That was probably the best two minutes I've had on the internet in awhile

Aside from respecting your opinion, Seth is anything but a genius. He's great at using a lot of humor techniques invented by other people, but he's not very original. And this is coming from a guy that's seen all of the earlier seasons of Family Guy and some episodes of American Dad.

But wait, he invented the flashback, m i rite? :<

Here's a guy who hasn't heard of the Sphere of Influence.

By now, all the basic concepts of what we find humorous have probably been employed in some form or another. Macfarlane does a great job of adding his own flavor to each situation, which is all a comedian can really do now.

Heh, yeah, it was funny. I mean sure, I've seen better Mario-related jokes and parodies (Game Over comes to mind). But it's not like Seth's take is inherently bad. KF

What kind of sphere are we talking about, here? I agree with you. As the Bible says, "There's nothing new under the sun."

The animation in Super Mario Bros. was a lot better than that tripe.

The animation perhaps, but definitely not the content. Sure the net is full of Mario parodies, but how many mainstream people have taken a crack at it?

Vid's been out for weeks. Same joke everyone else has told, only with Family Guy animation. It got half a smirk out of me when he called Bowser "dragon," but that's about it.

He's a funny guy, but he needs to try different approaches once in a while.
