Gren-Lohart Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 With the duel vocals at times i thought i was listening something from scooby doo, exspeacily when the (Yeah~) would come in, great song, but it just seems to remind me of scooby doo lol. Quote
Mirai Gen Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 I liked this mostly because I'm a fan of Game Over, big time. The problem I had was at the very beginning of the vocals, it seems hollow. It didn't fit. BUT! That's not to say this doesn't kick shitloads of ass. I wasn't this thriled since I listened to Game Over for the first time. Quote
Barnsalot Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 This has got to be my favorite mix on the site currently. I spend hours just listening to this one song. Quote
Levvy Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 ...I'd almost give them Foster's, too...i can honestly say i have never seen fosters anywhere over herep.s. fantastic mix. perhaps not to my personal tastes but its easy and enjoyable to listen to all the same. as everyone else has already been saying, absolutely tip top job with the vocals and the overall polish of the mix. awesome job, hope to see more work from you, and more to the point more vocals Quote
Ramenking Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 Hey this is Ramenking again. One Question.....Can I have the Instrumental to this song. Again I love this song but I'm not to hip to the lyrics. Quote
majin_lyndon Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 I think the lyrics work great. Did you write them yourself? Quote
phomarx Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 i could loop this song for like, a million years Quote
Samurai Jin Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 I would like to know the lyrics for this song, thats the only downfall to it, they just seem kinda muffled other than the strong points. "uppercut" key example. But other than that this song is really good, I've enjoyed it thoroughly, just wish I knew what you were saying. Edit: I'm a Dumbass... great song... now I know the lyrics. *Realizes his Ken and finds use for the scroll bar on his mouse* Quote
Wanderer Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 I can't believe how awesome the vocals are. It reminds me a little bit of Johnny Reznik, but more versatile. Keep making awesome stuff like this. <3 this remix. Quote
Vig Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 My ONLY gripe, (which is minor), is that there aren't this high of quality remixes that I can compare it to. how is this a complaint against this remix? how is this his fault? Quote
Shhteve Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Wow.. This mix does Ken's theme some serious justice. After all, it takes nothin' to realize you're Ken. Quote
benevolensaurus Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 I like this one a lot... I don't even like the genre much, but the quality of this mix is top-notch. Wow... Quote
Mr. Bottle Rocket Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 Damn...i love it..."realize your ken" oh that's killer. Quote
majin_lyndon Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 I need more! Please do another one! Can't... stop.... listening! Quote
godo Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 only thing that bugs me is in the lyrics.. his use of the word mend just makes no sense in the context he used it, depend might have bean a better word to use other than that this is a great song ill have this on repeat for hours maybe wear my wireless headphones batteries out listening to this one song Quote
deltree Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 I give this song 5 flying uppercuts out of 5! REALIZE YOUR KEN AND LISTEN TO THIS MIX!!! Quote
Tex Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 This was the BEST Ken remix that I heard. Good work, Joe!! Quote
DJ Riott Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 Man. This is better produced than record label rock songs. I can't get enough of it. It is stuck in my head, and stuck at the top of my playlist que. 11/10 Quote
King of Hearts 13 Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 This is unbelievably cool! I can't stop playing it, it just rocks so much. DJP was right, this is definitely headbanging and air guitar material. Anybody know some remixes on this site that are half as good as this and in the same vein? Quote
jdproject Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 only thing that bugs me is in the lyrics.. his use of the word mend just makes no sense in the context he used it, depend might have bean a better word to use other than that this is a great song ill have this on repeat for hours maybe wear my wireless headphones batteries out listening to this one song "Keep fighting for the right of the one you so truly mend". Mend meaning you have shaped, moulded together as it is talking about Ken and Eliza from the game. They have moulded their bond together therefore they have mended something together. Therefore it is in perfect context. Just wanted to clear that up. Quote
irriadin Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 This song can be described in a single word: infectious. I can't stop listening to it. Even when I'm walking around, I start humming this arrangement. That is a true testimony to its quality. In the technical aspect, I can safely say that the vocals mesh extremely well with the background song. The instruments are well played, and the track is the perfect length. Excellently done. 90 / 100 Quote
godo Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 makes more sense now that youve describe it out some thank you , was kinda like walking in the middle of a conversation without knowing what the subject was ::sweat:: Quote
