TotalBiscuit has cancer

Recommended Posts

So it was

on his youtube channel a while ago that he might have something that could turn out to be serious. Today it was confirmed on his twitter that it's full blown cancer and he's going to start treatment.

A while ago TB started to regularly promote OCR in his videos by featuring an OC ReMix at the end of his vlogs and industry news videos. He's done a lot to help OCR reach a larger audience, and I think it's only fair that we show our support back to him.

I watched his videos since way, way back when he just did some quirky World of Warcraft videos. Since then his channel exploded to become more or less the largest personality in PC gaming. I hope the chemo is successful and that he feels well enough to keep making videos.

My sincerest well-wishes go to him; I regularly watch his content and think he's a great and honest personality on Youtube& gaming scene in general. All the best.

I've always enjoyed watching his videos and his straight-laced, no-nonsense approach to video game reviews and the state of the industry in general. May he be blessed in his battle against a horrible disease.

Here's hoping we can put together something cool like what was done for bLiNd with Reserve Tank. I thoroughly enjoyed that album and I think it's a very neat way of showing appreciation to him :)

Do we know what kind of cancer he has? What type of chemo he's going to do? How far it's staged?

I work with cancer patients everyday, I have a unquenching need to know these things.

TB is the savior of E-Sports. We need him!

I think it's cancer of the colon. He was saying that it was caught just a little too late, and there's now something like a 2cm lump. He made a video about it. Not sure what type of chemo he will be put on, but perhaps he may share some more information. His tweet did say that the doctors are optimistic, so I'm hoping for the best. He's a really good guy, and is very young still.

Fortunately resection of the colon is a safe and effective procedure. My concern is if it has progressed to stage 2 yet and that's why they are also going with the chemo option. I would really like to see what a PET/CT would show on him.

I never quite cared for the guy or shared many of his opinions. But no one deserves cancer. Hopefully he'll beat it and it's not a horribly painful process for 'em. GL
