Brandon Strader Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Thanks mang, I hope everyone likes it, had a blast making it, one of the best-sounding def metal songs I ever made, really proud of it. Have no idea what I'd be able to make for the FFX album project now but hahah... we'll jump that hurdle when we come to it
The Joker Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Congrats, Brandon! You made an awesome track, which brings our completed to 5! Badass!
The Joker Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Sooo, I've decided we're too BadAss to let some hoity toity remix generator try & push us out of the way. They can take our leet skillz, but they can never take...OUR HAXXORZ... or some crap like that.
AJ-enova Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Sooo, I've decided we're too BadAss to let some hoity toity remix generator try & push us out of the way. They can take our leet skillz, but they can never take...OUR HAXXORZ... or some crap like that. God bless ya!
The Joker Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 One more day to get those updates (wip or otherwise) in!
Demonstray Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Update should be up in about six hours; my CPU usage is way up right now so I gotta close Firefox and stuff before I attempt to listen back to the song in Cubase to fix production.
Brandon Strader Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Looking forward to this project being finished... So many great projects making good progress..
The Joker Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 First big update in a while! I'd like to welcome PrototypeRaptor to the project. He delivered an awesome One Winged Angel mix, & boy is it awesome!
Lashmush Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Well, I'm pretty sure my deathmetal version of the final battle theme from LoZ Links Awakening would fit this project quite neatly. And since deathmetal wasnt allowed for the Links Awakening project, do you guys want it? ;D <link removed. sorry!>
Lashmush Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Finished it, btw. It's just over 2 minutes since the original isn't really more than that looped.
Capt. Stupidity Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I would love to do the Weldar theme from Banjo-Tooie if that's acceptable
The Joker Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Alright. Sorry for the lack of updates & such for this mug. We're getting back on board, & should be getting some massive progress kinda soon. Lashmush, heard the track, I'll let you know something soon. Also, Cap'n, make a wip & send it my way.
Nutritious Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Finished my track and turned it in. Check your pm's, Joker. EDIT: Nevermind, looks like you already updated the first post.
The Joker Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 We're nearing completion of Volume 1 of this mug (with a potential for a 2 volume release right out of the door). So excited!
Lashmush Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 So yeah, I've sent you a master wav of my Secret of Mana boss track remix and I'm now uploading my recently completed remix master of "Clash of Light and Shadow" from Illusion of Gaia.
Rozovian Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 You didn't see my update on the forums the other day?
Nutritious Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Subbed my track to the site tonight. Looking forward to hearing everything else on the album.
Rozovian Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 "Damn close", lol Is there a cutoff date for the vol 1 release, if so when, and where should I have seen it?
The Joker Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Never had a cutoff date. It was always a when it's done kind of thing. We're getting close to having enough for Volume 1. When that happens, I'll get things into gear hardcore style.
Brandon Strader Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 When did this become a multi-volume type deal? I may need to audition for volume 2 then.
The Joker Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 It was towards the beginning. With the nature of the project being about a certain type of game theme, rather than a set number of game tracks, that it would be better. It would never be released if we kept getting more submissions, so, the volume idea came into play. Though, to be fair, the amount of almost finished as well as finished tracks, are making it look like it might be 2 volumes by the time we're ready for the first release.
-Dan Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Guys! My version actually is a Metalcore Samba Dick Dale's style. Afraid to be fleeing the proposal! ahudhaduhda
