Hmm, I'm kinda surprised no one responded to this. It actually is a fair question as I've been here for 15 years and I still have to go looking for how to change my signature stuff every time I want to change it, and that process can change as well.
    1. Top right of the webpage where you see your chicken picture and "thebitterroost".
    2. Click it and go to "account settings" under "settings".
    3. Left side of the page in the gray border. "Signature".
    There you go.
Didn't used to be that easy, so I totally respect that you had trouble finding it.

Not quite sure what I was expecting from the Sonic trailer given people's highly exaggerated negative reaction to it (we have wars going on with child soldiers that aren't getting this kind of reaction) but that wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.
And I can't hate any video game adaptation that managed to get Jim Carrey as the villain.

I didn't know Avien had died.
And by remarkable coincidence (and I use the term "coincidence" lightly), for some reason when I brought up Winamp literally right now, the first song loaded into it is Avien's Nouemon mix from Relics of the Chozo. I haven't listened to Relics of the Chozo in at least 5 years, I don't even have that song on this computer, and I know I've used Winamp much, much, much sooner than that.
    Odd vibrations.

Time and fate are nothing but experiments in cruelty via temporal snuff fetish and they should be incinerated from the mind as soon as the will permits. The past, present and future can New Jack Swing on my aged, shriveled nuts.
To contribute something more directly on-topic if less deeply profound - the earliest thing I remember buying was the Super Nintendo from the Sevierville K-Mart that is only just now closing for good. I was 8 years old, had somehow saved up enough money with some contribution from my parents to obtain it and walked out with what has proven to be the greatest investment I've ever made for myself. I think somewhere along the way we lost a $20 bill inside the store, but I never heard anything about that afterwards. I still have that Super Nintendo today and its influence on my life cannot be understated.

Howdy. Today I present you our nearly long-lost interview with Hiroki Kikuta that was done during development of the Seiken Densetsu 3 ocremix project. For some reason, this interview was very difficult to keep a hold on, we lost the first version that Jahan Zoltan graciously helped us with in translation and I'm still embarrassed that I asked him to do it again after that, and then there were some obstacles in getting it posted where people could read it after that. I've been in the web development/marketing/blogging industry for 16 years and I'd never had a document be so slippery!
But thankfully I was recently able to recover it once again (this thing is cursed by Annabelle, I swear) and to make it easiest all the way around for everyone, I just had it posted to my websites www.meteoxavier.com and www.jslawhead.com with credits going where credit is due.
Proper linked version is here: http://www.jslawhead.com/2019/02/my-interview-with-hiroki-kikuta-seiken.html

Yeah, it's just a sine wave and a bunch of glide, and then you can tailor the other effects to taste.
Most synth plugins will have some version of it under a lot of different names - but it's usually called "Hip-Hop lead" or something to do with rap music as it used to be used in a lot of hip hop songs from the 90s and early 2000s as a high pitch riff of sorts, and it's more generally what people might use it for now.

Kinda veering off-topic there, but orchestral libraries are hot on my interest these days - especially as a means to distract away from social drama going on my end. :O

Holy unshaven eyeballs, does this game look crazy awesome! This is exactly what I hoped to see in the future of gaming from my heyday in the 90s. I can't wait for this to come out and you shouldn't either! Come join me in his vanguard to launch an attack on the programmers and force them to finish it immediately!*

It'd probably be easier to mod a PSP to do that. That thing is the best PS1 emulator ever made, you can get one cheap and it's relatively easy to mod.
I likely won't have a need for a PS Classic, but my mind could easily change under the right circumcisions.

It sounds like Mr. Bean gave you his answer already. Short of a fan orchestral album, it's probably not going to be feasible to happen. Good orchestra music costs money and Jet Force Gemini likely isn't a property that could justify it the way orchestras performing Mario and Final Fantasy music (the "honey money", as it were) could. Ocremix people probably could pull it off, but same problem: lots of time and effort for not enough non-monetary payoff; and that's before we get into the potential legal redtape that game companies might get into once they find out (and having composers themselves give support isn't enough to cover that).
On the other hand, who knows? Maybe there will be a full HD remake of Jet Force Gemini sometime in the future where the soundtrack will get the appropriate update as well. That's a not-too-bad chance of happening in current era.

Meteo Xavier reacted to Liontamer in would a kickstarter get me in trouble for An ff15 audio Drama?
Chris means @zircon & @djpretzel in this case. I think they've gone over it to some extent here on the forums, but I don't remember where. That said, even if you didn't use/reference the music of FF15, Catherine, just invoking it for use in an audio drama Kickstarter means you'd need their legal department's blessing, just like @MindWanderer mentioned. And you're most likely not going to get that. The reason djp & zircon's situation turned out differently is because djp knows several lawyers and was able to communicate on their level thanks to their help. If you don't have that, you could certainly just do the KS without permission, see it get shut down and HOPE they're willing to engage in a back and forth dialogue with you over at Squenix legal, but that's a very risky and mostly likely fruitless route. Would recommend not attempting that.

I refuse to believe professionally made "budget" libraries suck, especially since musicians are more than well known for being zealous about sound quality, since the chaotic nature of composing, arranging and producing eventually mandates that songs will require "that" kind of sound that could be anywhere in anything. I routinely have to deny top-quality samples and instruments in the tracks I'm working on simply because they don't work or flow inside the track I'm working on - this is why I still keep almost ALL the extremely outdated soundfonts and VSTs I had before I got good at this. Sometimes I still need a shitty flute or violin or choir AH sample because that's what turned out to fit the spot I needed filled in.
Funny Yoozer mentioned the ancient Roland orchestral card. A few months ago I bought the Roland SRX-06 card so I could have access to the Final Fantasy Tactics and Zelda 64 sounds as needed for my ambitions.

You get around it by focusing on composition, arranging and mixing. Video game composer professionals have had to work with mediocre samples or worse for 20 years and that's still the most beloved era of videogame music, so sample quality is almost sort of a given that it's not what makes the quality of a song most of the time.

Meteo Xavier got a reaction from zykO in Do You Still ReMix — Why Or Why Not?
Talking about success and how to get successful still falls in line and relevance with why one remixes or not. So many trai... err, former remixers who no longer come here do so because their remixing skillz now pay billz, while others still look to find out how to become successful with their own remixes. Both of those things would easily answer why someone would or would not choose to continue remixing.
