  1. Now this is something completely different. How many remixes are there of this theme. Probably very many, but how many did it not only with techno instruments, but also with orchestric material? Not many, this might be the only one, and it may not be surprising that Star made it either. The synth samples was great I think, the beats likewise, but what captured me the most was that Star had changed those MM-synths into strings, giving a completely other effect which I´m afraid to describe since I´m just gonna express myself wrong, but it´s sure beautiful, and by the help of the techno stuff, this gets more than just a harmonic piece. The piano was the beginning and finishing touch to this piece, and i have absolutely no complaints about it. The only complaint I have is the name of this remix, I don´t really understand the thought behind it. Majestic and awesome at the same time, you´re one of the best Star.
  2. From low to max, very interesting. I´ve listened to this one before, my brother had downloaded it before me, and this remix was awesome. It hasn´t change a bit, going from calm pianoprelude to kick ass techno arrangement. And about that part between 2:14 and 3:12, was that still the same track? I´m starting to think so. There may be a few similarities, but meh. Great remix Injury!
  3. WOOOH, I´m out first. Okay, okay, get serious. A new pianoremix from Zelda 3, excellent, listened two times too it, very beautiful. But to describe it, hmmm. Well for a start, it goes out gently, no rushing here. It takes a while to recognize what kind of theme this really is, but around 0:30 it starts to pick up the melody, and then melody slowly begins. It gets faster after a while, still very skilled played. Then the melody changes, and here comes the dungeon, played with care, almost silent, then it gets louder, and then releases a litle more power to the melody and then comes to the dark point, Ganon himself, dum dum duuumm or something like it. Then it almost starts from scratch, soft play that´s somehow makes me depressed, tries to pick up some more pace, succeeds, but then goes down again. ¨ Very beautiful pianoplay overall, Zoola didn´t just stick to the notes on the paper, but instead made some freestyle and played more freely, tried different speeds and varied the volume a bit. It had an overall sad mood to it, at some points he just let his fingers walk over the keys. Skilled, very much indeed, and welcome to OCR dude.
  4. I feel lonely in this thread... Ah, the good´ol Wily castle theme, how many times haven´t someone remixed that one? To get to the case, cool synths, not sure if there was that many beats in it, maybe that one was a synth. Personally I don´t think there ever was a need for Wily to get even more technoer, but I guess should be nuff. Kewl mix, Nilvah.
  5. Man, that piano is awesome. I did recognize it somehow, and when i saw that `The Wingless´ made this one, I ran to the remixes from Secret of Mana and looked at Aphrodite Oceanus and the one that had remixed it. Much indeed, it was Wingless. This kind of piano is characteristic. And for this song, I can understand why many felt like this was like two songs played at the same time, but I found it brilliant. The music of Bubbleman's stage is made of several different tunes, Wingless just simply brought them out into the light much more, and although it sometimes it felt that the tunes didn´t connect, it still feel that this is a great arrangement, best bubbleman remix so far. Awesome Wingless.
  6. Joe got right to the case, Megeman IS funto play, but all the sequels and otgher bosses with it takes away the magic with it, but personally I´ve found them amusing, same with this song, only complaint is the "hellyeah" part, I´m not the dude that swears. The music itself is good, that synth was good along with the synthpiano. Nice beats too, and the voice didn't sound all too robotic.
  7. Many has complained about those vocalsamples, but I'm not that bothered bu them Sure, I cannot hear what they'e saying, but the voices are half human, half robotic, just like a security system, INTRUDER ALERT. Interesting that you made sounds of those laser beams, one good point with that is that I remember how the stage was, 60% escape from deadly laserbeams. Cool. But for the music, the style and tempo varied iver the mix, but I still feel that this remix isn't contributing with something new, the synth isn't the exact one from the game, but it sounds similiar. But, if you love the music for Quickman's stage, here's an excellent upgrade of that specific track. Enjoy, and thanks EvilHorde.
  8. Yeah, happens to me too, but it works if you change the one you have with a new downloaded one.
  9. Uhhhhh....what? This was funkiness out of its mind, but I don´t think I´m not a very big fan of woah in the back and the mega-woofer-dark synth.' Oh, well, but it wouldn´t have hurt to be an another rockremix, although nearly their whole project is made like that.
  10. What wouldn´t there be a Metalman remix without the presence of good ol´ rock instruments. Project X2 is sure a centre of guitarthrash, unfortunately they´re very short, so they never have the actual time to build up a great climax. Still, AWESOME.
  11. The change from a touching arrangement into a headbanging rockplay was excellent. Nice drums also, but then...it stopped. It IS way to short, both I and MMNR has jumped to that conclusion. But it kicks ass, so why bother complain, when, as MMNR said, we have the repeat button. The walkover to the rock part was a little weird, sounded like I was teleported into a spacesjip that currently is 10 feet above ground.
  12. Quinn, you fox! Very cool, groovy remix, which also goes over to thrashing madness sometimes, but that´s cool. Nice choice of synths and beats. Compared to he others, this Flash is more, floating if I may say. It´s like your in water and sinks down to the dark blue only to discover how beautifully the light from the surface reaches the very depths of your wet prison. This remix makes me poetic, better finish this. Great remix, mixes not only two great bosstracks but also two kinds of feelings: calm and rush. Well done Fox.
  13. This is my favorite Flash remix, without a doubt. The long intro is okay, it may be boring for them without headphones, since you actually can hear something build up itself in the quiet back of this mix. I don´t really know what the title stands for, is it It´s about time someone made a great Flashremix, because we have those in multiplies y´know. But for the whole arrangement, very nice done. I actually like that synth doing its own thing in the beginning, which later gets company consisted by a two awesome synths. I mean it, those trance synths are incredible, they´re both echoing and fading away continiously, I like that. But it take some time for this remix to show its real self, 2:32 to be exact. I´m just gonna cut to the case. The piano was beautiful, and the walkover to a more calm and drummier part was magnificent! There, I´m done, where´s the rest of your hits?
  14. What is it with all the people. his is a remix from the dj himself and there´s only 6 reviews? How many Flash man remixes are there? Many. How many kicks ass? Many. How many are made of 100% synthesized music and has a guitarsolo at the end? ONLY THIS ONE! I like the rhytm with the beats that´s in the beginning and in the middle of the track, it trips and makes me think of a hot pursuit in NeedforSpeed. Cool stuff pretzeldude.
  15. AE once again. Sadly, this isn´t the best MMremix out there, but if this was year, I would believe it. The synths feels almost casual, or maybe they´re just reminding me about an exact same track with these synths. I beginning to think of Noppz´s Wily meets Flash. Meh, those synths are good, and the beats have the same quality and style as them. And Flashman´s stage music IS cool, no questions.
  16. HEY KIDS! Look over here, it´s the new Heatman! EvilHorde edition! He uses blasts to frighten everyone to hears it, he´s all steamed up with alot of beats and synths that sure takes the twist out of you! And the bells just makes you jiggle along the rhytm! He´s here, it´s clear, it´s Evilhorde Heatman! Call 0987-54026783550637506836404879474968365 and order your sample NOW! Caution! Evilhorde are also made out of quite MIDI:sh sound samples, so for the ones that just gets irritated of them should leave now. May also cause anger, confusion, paralyze, petrify, poison, caughs and visions of pink elefants dancing around your room.
  17. Oh crap, I love this synth, and the violins that does their thing with it. At least I think it´s violins. As the name implies, this would be a track with ass-kicking techno rave, but it´s not. This is more of a philharmonic techno soundtrack suitable more when Flash is showing of his skillz on the dancefloor. It´s too calm to not be a chasing battle theme, but dude, that´s not the problem. Or to be prescise, there are no problems, this is a great remix that I don´t hesitate to download. Star, you rule at this. And now, just t- :ducks:
  18. I agree. FFX-2 wasn't THAT bad (though the pop-star thing is still a bit ridiculous). That, and Trema reminds me of Nemesis in FFX. Both great boss battles. And IMO some of the few truly challenging bosses in recent RPGs. I wish they had bosses like that in games like real time action RPGs. I think it's just the return to the Active Time Battle system that makes boss battles harder ,compared to FFX. FFX has very hard bosses, the Battle Arena is full of them. If you don´t plan your battle right or makes one mistake, that´would be nuff to end thy game dude.
  19. SWEET BUTTERY DISHWASHER! This remix is great! If Noppz´s remix was pure techno, then this is 100 percent full velocity guitarthrash. Is always nice to see that there are more swedes around here than you expect. Sadly, I have no more to say about this remix, the speed and rhytm talks on its own, but this remix is far from simple. Great remix dude. SCREW SPITTING SOY LETTACE!! An another one! After analyzing it, I found it very good, skilled guitarplay with a nice set of drums kicking up the adrenaline level to new hights. But I have big trouble figuring out the original song track. I think it´s the boss theme. Either way, awesome remixes, both of them. Hoppas du gör fler remixer i framtiden!
  20. I really deserves my username. I actually listened to all the remixers from the games I´ve played before I joined, now I just thought I go through all of them again and review, but the question is: HOW DID I MANAGE TO MISS ONE!? Seriously, beautiful piano, strings and flute as excellent side-instruments, and an arrangement so magnificent that I imaginarily punches myself for finding this masterpiece so late. But nothing is too late, I can still download it, can´t I? Jayson, dude, one of the best pianoremixes I´ve heard, thanks again. Then we´re in the same boat. I myself play some piano, and it´s all in my head. I can´t do much while I´m playing piano. I can´t talk, can´t look, sometimes not breath, so trying to read while playing would be nearest impossible. But who knows? Learning Song of Storms single playing was impossible at first, now I nearly master it in a easy way. Good to hear that you have new stuff coming up. Keep on playing dude. Someday you might play at your own wedding as well.
  21. You can reward us by making a new remix. It is good, this must be my favorite crashman mix. It´s not tough and hard like most of the others, more like the opposite direction of it. The bellchimes was good, I like those, and the poppy synths was put in good use. I don´t really know how to describe it, it´s techno alright, but someties this makes me think of music to cellphones. Maybe this could fit like a glove.
  22. Right on bro, but unfortunately this is a remixforum, which automatically gives people the reason to either criticize or encourage, Riku criticized. It´s nice of you to give the remixers view of this, but just because AE does this voluntarily, it doesn´t mean he can´t get some points about hos way to remix. Sure, sometimes there are just minor subjects that soemone sure can work out, but if someone just don´t like his work? He doesn´t really have to care. Maybe if a majority was against him, maybe then, but now we both know that that´s not the case. That´s the way of life. You get both shit and praise for what you do, it´s up to you to care or not. But good that at least someone defended AE, we all must have a part to explain why our remixers rules in a certain way. ByeBye. EDIT: Darn it, forgot to review the remix. It had nice techno touch to it, AE is quite familiar with that specific region. The synths was alright, although some of the choices got annoying when they temporarily showed up, but that´s a minor detail. The track was very good, just like pretzeldude pointed out himself, but now I can clarify it. Alltogether, if we adds cool synths and beats, divides with annoying noises and multiplies with the awesome drumtrack, we get as a result a great remix dudes! Rock on, AE.
  23. Those screams from the audience was terrible. And that guy commenting in he beginning, that was,...I don´t know, had a man crashed? It´s really hard trying to get all the metaphores in all remixes, so I´m just going to comment the remix. It appears to be a concert, nice guitars and synth, crashman´s stage has always had some polka-style too it, cause when it plays, it´s very hard not to jiggle with the rhytm. But I don´t get it why the remix stops so suddenly? It doesn´t even fade away. I like the drums before the middle part, sounded real and cool. Aeneurysm, nice version of your crashman, it had its moment loaded with good instruments and style.
  24. Oh, I so want to leran the Zelda lullaby on piano, I just have to find the right time for it. Great remix from Tepid, the fact that he´s a newcomer just makes this better, it´s marvelous. The acoustic guitar puts a more relaxed tune to it, mellow, enhances the sleepy tunes in this lullaby. It goes over to a more rougher style, but the beauty stays with it. The electric guitars(I think) gives it more passion to it. Who knows, maybe Link and Zelda has a thing for each other. Very good remix, I can´t really stop pointing that out. Tepid, if you find some freetime you don´t know what to use for, continue your work.
Snyggt gjort Gecko. Very good. It began with a dark synth that got hooked up by some beats later. But when the other synth got into the picture, it suddenly got alot better. It was first at 1:47 when the mix started to get serious as the rest of the equipment got out on the scene. The strings in the back was very nice, which together with everything else made it a great techno-track. It got the necessary stuff, plus a little more. Well done Gecko.
