what did people think of the metal gear games on psp? portable and acid 1 and 2. anything good there?

think about the game pikmin. what better could there be than an interface that allows you to say, choose your pikmin specifically and tell them just where to go instead of with a HUGE GODDAM CIRCLE whistle i never owned pikmin but i might buy it just cause it seems like it would be really nice that way

Damn, half of these I would have never even known about without you guys, keep it coming! I can live w/ slowdown, I've been around since the NES era so I know the deal with that. Also, I admittedly have a soft spot in my heart for fighters and platormers to go along w/ rpgs any ideas in those sectors? EDIT I already have DS a jam you sillykins. I've been putting some major work in to FFT A2. Speaking of which is tactics for PSP a good buy as well?

To piggyback on the PS3 thread, I am considering purchasing a PSP, mostly for Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max (15 bucks!) and some other older, yet quality games such as the Metal Gear portables. What are people's ideas on good games to own for the PSP?

Bumping this thread because the game is coming out soon and I'm super stoked. Cammy is back for the consoles, Gen is in the game (whaaa) and the fighting system looks, in a word, sweet.

I really don't understand how people have decided this game's a lost cause on something as unsubstantial as this trailer. Clearly it looked good (a given) and the battle system was confusing (cause no one knows how it works). But aside from that and a few lines from the main characters that don't really mean much, because no one knows what they're talking about, there wasn't much to see. I thought it was pretty and could continue to get more interesting. But aside from that judgement on something like this is a bit of a no go.

I was looking for this kind of stuff just the other day. If you go to allposters.com they have a rediculous amount of Street Fighter prints of just about every character, including people from 3rd Strike, some from the alpha series, and darkstalkers. Other than that I wish I knew more EDIT: vgcats.com also has some awesome shirts in their store. i might even get a couple.

Pretty much what the title implies, they ask for a remix with some original SFII soundbytes in it (which is kinda un-OCR but anyways). this is actually my favorite track on the site in a long time. it reminds me a little of many of the n64 Rare soundtracks (DK64, Banjo-Kazooie, DKRacing, etc.) and its throwing shit out of everywhere. It's just great and it gets me with the creativity.

OH ALSO does anyone play/think well of tribes vengeance? i played the demo for a little while and loved it but i didn't hear much about it outside of that

Downloading as we speak. Yeah someone else said this but we should do this up like they do with TF2, I'd play this regularly if there was a consistent group of people to play, and now I don't have to worry about computer specs since t2 is lol old but still awesome

One of my strongest gaming memories is when I used to go to hotels with my parents back when I didn't have a videogame system, and beg them to play the Super Nintendo that was plugged in with the TV. Playing Super Mario World in hotels was absolutely awesome.

Please don't say things like this. I enjoy it as well but there is a very low chance this would be accepted just based on how it was made. OCR hates presets, which this has plenty of; i've heard that guitar a billion times, along with the drumkit. the breakdown section is a very nice exception to this. Don't get me wrong I actually really like what you've done, the arrangement itself is pretty creative. But the presets and the chippy low-fi sounds kill it. Put in some good instruments, get a new drumkit, and then come back with this and the nuances can be fixed.

Who are you and who are you. You're both new here so its not as if you should have known but generally personal attacks and/or flaming an entire third (or fourth w/ pc games included) of the gaming market get people upset. There's no reason to and it makes you sound like a buttwipe.
