  1. Alright, WiPs are expected in 10 days! Give me more finished goodness! We're very close to the end, so it's time to speed up things!
  2. I could indeed see fit an epic trailer, nice job! The solo was awesome.
  3. Pretty much this. Here's the thing: If you want to get your mix on OCR, post in WiP and polish it with the help of others and mods. If not, go post it somewhere else. Sorry, but it sounds like you just want OCR to promote your rejected mixes, even if they are not good enough to be actually posted on the website. I experienced a lot of rejections, and if the mix isn't good enough, I either post it on my SC/YT channels and leave them be, or (less often) re-work them and re-sub them. Now, djp's idea sounds cool, I'd like to see how it'll be implemented and managed.
  4. What some people should also take into account is that FFIX isn't the only project being developed by OCR: some other projects are being checked by the staff before they can be released (with rectifications or not), so it takes time. That being said Fishy looks ULTRA busy (not connected to OCR for 1+ month), so maybe someone could help finish/direct the album (like Brandon and I did for Legacy). That stuff makes me want to revisit my Project Guide lol.
  5. Anyone with a spare Mewtwo DLC code (for 3DS)? I'd be interested to play the character.
  6. Helloween's new single "Battle's Won" sounds realy great. They still have their very own sound after all those years. Weikath is a great songwriter.
  7. Yes, Ayami Kojima wasn't available, which is a shame. I was hoping for something more exciting than "Boss Rush Mode" as a goal (why isn't that in the actual game????), something like other console ports (PS3 plz) or even new areas/enemies (and not jsut ONE boss). Guess I'm maybe a little too demanding LOL
  8. As excited as I am for a new IGA game (despite the anime/manga design of the characters), the stretch goals are disappointing. I'll end up supporting it if more exciting stuff comes up (and if I get enough money).
  9. Version #3 Eevee "Its genetic code is irregular. It may mutate if it is exposed to radiation from element Stones." -- Pokédex Entry (Red Version) ==Bio== In the Pokémon World, Evolution is the process by which one creature changes into a different, usually stronger, form. While most Pokémon only transform once or twice into another, Eevee can morph into eight different creatures. Moreover, all of Eevee's transformations require different preconditions, leading to a unique Evolution tree: elemental stones, location, and time of the day are but a few of the factors a Pokémon trainer has to take into account to make Eevee evolve. This interesting ramification got its own specific denomination: Eeveelution. These more advanced creatures represent Eevee's greatest strengths, as it is relatively weak in its basic form. Being a Normal type Pokémon, Eevee has few weaknesses but also few exceptional strengths. A Pokémon trainer may prefer to raise its evolved forms instead, as they all possess different abilities and types. Some of Eevee's new forms include the Electric type Jolteon and the Attack-oriented Flareon. One should pay attention to which form Eevee may change into as it is said that only a few Eevees are still alive, and Pokémon trainers may not encounter such a creature in the wild. The choice to make Eevee the trump card of a powerful Pokémon team comes down to its trainer. ==References== Official Pokédex Website Bulbapedia Article: Eevee Bulbapedia Article: Eeveelution
  10. New updates: Dj Mokram returns with a vengeance (and a nice WIP) and our very own XPRTNovice provides voice acting on my opening track! A musician from the Castlevania Dungeon forums is currently giving a try to the final track, we'll see how it goes.
  11. The game was released in early access a few weeks ago, and it's a blast to play. Anyone else plays? Maybe we could create an OCR server if there are more players here. Or even KF1, which is also very good but a little old now. (I never played online though, and my connexion may suck, huhu). For the ones who don't know what KF is, here's a trailer: (Yeah, the game's ultra gory, but you can reduce the gore parameter in-game ^^)
  12. Even if some of the tracks feature some nice stuff from Lars, yeah, I'm mostly inspired by their riff work.
  13. Too many artists to mention them all. I'd say my most recongnizable influences are Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, Helloween, Mike Oldfield, and Metallica. On OCR, people like Brandon Strader, zircon, djp, Vurez, bustatunez, and Sam Dillard are some of my sources of inspiration.
  14. Feedback sent. That's a nice track we have here
  15. Sent a WiP to Ivan, so Tuberz gets more time to record. ^^
  16. It was a great interview, even if my connexion sucked and I had to use a chat to express my opinion ^^ We spoke about VGM remixing in general, OCR, DoD and other websites, the rise of YouTube, and the more commercial aspect of VGM remixing (Patreon, KS, etc.) Some good laughs when one of the hosts said DoD was like a reality show and OCR was a sect xD (on the topic of the Judges/votes from OCR/DoD) If you want to listen to the interview, you can get the podcast here: http://www.radiojv.com/show/le-player-club-32/
  17. Yep, most of the soundtrack is a real challenge to remix, but I'm still looking for a remixer for "TSC".
  18. This is Dracula's Curse. On other news, Dj Mokram accepted the mission to tackle the first boss them with some assistance from yours truly. Contacted some people for "The Submerged City", but everyone can contact me to audition/claim it as well.
  19. To listen LIVE to the interview, you can follow this link: http://synopslive.net/direct The interview/podcast will be available to download after it's done.
  20. Sorry for double posting but The Coop decided to redraw from the project, so The Submerged City track is open to claims. Preferably AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
  21. CarboHydroM and I are being interviewed tomorrow evening at 9PM (France time, so that's around 3PM EST I think). The interview is in French, but we'll be talking about VGM, remixing, and of course OCR! If you understand French, or just want to hear our melodious voices, check radiovg.com. EDIT: Interview can be heard here: http://www.radiojv.com/show/le-player-club-32/ (only Carbo speaks, as my connexion sucked -- I wrote my answers in a chat and one of the members of the radio read them)
