  1. Nah, don't worry about it. I'll wait a while, and if it's still down then I'll try to fix it myself. If I can't THEN I might request some help... Hopefully it won't last.
  2. That's weird, cause i'm gettting a 404 domain error. I don't think my location / computer is the problem since I was able to connect yesterday... So yeah this sucks :/
  3. Nooooo! The site is down! Now what will I do to waste my time
  4. Holy fucking shit. Tried listening to this while in my school's library. Bad idea. I got kicked out once Dumbledore came in. Whoever read chapter 4 deserves a medal.
  5. Well whether it's an actual MIDI rip or not, the point is that there's too little interpretation of the source... I mean it's cool and all that it you've made it how you wanted, but that reason probably won't help persuade the judges, if you plan on submitting it.
  6. Sounds mostly like a MIDI rip to me, with a little bit of interpretive harp. The string samples sound too fake for them to be used by themselves, so you'll have to mix them in with other instruments to get them to sound better (of course they're decent compared to some other samples I've heard...). If you want it to sound more "foresty" may I suggest a flute and perhaps some hand percussion? Maybe some piano? The harp sounds pretty good. That's all I can really say for right now, it just needs more to it arrangement-wise. Listening to it again though I remember how much I love this source tune. I hope you decide to continue working on this.
  7. Switch Axe isn't so bad once you get used to it, it's actually my main damage dealer because of the spamability (new word) and range of it. It's fairly fast compared to larger weapons. The great sword is indeed pretty slow, but that's made up for by giving it a guard function.
  8. I tend to use SnS a lot when I don't want to waste potions It's great for jumping in with a combo, dodging, running out, and repeating this process; your risk of taking damage it very low (especially with auto-block). It's surprisingly effective, especially if you have poison or paralyze.
  9. You sir, deserve a medal. Good luck with MM2, it can be sadistic to me sometimes.
  10. D - the entire "7th Rose" album. Epic medieval metal. (Epic J-Rock)
  11. Ah, I remember hearing this in the WIP thread. So slick, glad it got posted. I'm really curious though, as to how much automation was used in this song. I'm guessing a lot.
  12. I should be on this of the afternoon/evening so if anyone wants to get group together that would be cool. I got to HR 31 yesterday so I'm itchin' to try the new quests.
  13. I will when we finally record our stuff. Probably this summer, or perhaps sometime sooner. This was actually our first live as a full band due to... technical difficulties last time.

  14. Thanks Damned. I actually am sporting a Samus Aran style tazer. It's painful AND kinky.

  15. Thanks proto. I celebrated today by playing a gig with my band. We were easily the best, but whoever was working the sound system was shitty. Ah well. I'd do it, but I would piss too many people off.

  16. I've been playing this since it's came out. First MH game and it's awesome! I'm mostly online when I play cause solo mode isn't that fun; so I'd be more than happy to play with whoever. I should be on most of this weekend. Probably have 50+ hours already No wiispeak sorry. HN: Kuon ID: ZW675J
  17. Cool stuff Radiowar, love this source. Just a few things I think could help improve this: -The lead synth in the beginning could probably use a little bit more build up before coming in fully. -Definitely needs a bit more rhythmic diversity such as some less prominent percussion or change in hi-hat/snare/kick sounds. The 4 on the floor fits well enough to be used through most of it, but to pull that off, you'll need more percussion diversity. Some interesting panning might help you pull that off, too. -Crashes might help, but they're probably not necessary. You could try to tone them down with filtering and such to make them more ambient. -Less prominent harmonies or melodies backing up the lead will definitely help give it some more body. Using arpeggios might be a good idea. Acoustic instruments like a piano or strings might help as well. Your synth choice so far fits very well together so far, so I would probably stick with those smoother textures. The kick levels sound great so far too; not too weak, not too strong. Bass also bonds well with it. I'm looking forward to seeing this progress.
  18. 1. David is awesome because Vandread is AWESOME. 2. Silicon Valley was the shit. Loved that game to death. It was such a unique game for it's time.
  19. If you're that into electronica check out Groove Armada (if you haven't already). They do many kinds of electronic styles and always come out with unique sounding pieces. They are great for pulling ideas from. One song I recommend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqHdm0TIbvo
  20. I know, it's cool. I hope that you aren't stressing yourself or anything.

  21. I knew you were trollin' us, i knew it!!!11

  22. Loved the music, but hated the fourth chapter; too much boring backtracking. I do want to eventually get to some PMTTYD though, really fun sources.
