A ReMix of a remix of the water theme, I knew this one would be interesting to hear considering the source. It amazes me that there is always a new way to get this melody into a song without it getting boring. Arrangement is like going from a riverbank right into the ocean, so nice placement. Got to love all those synths and blips complementing the guitar. Great teamwork and collab by Stevo and halc.

That bass......wow, man, that's terrific. Now this is a perfect landscape done in audio form. Beautiful stuff, especially if you lay back and just try to visualize something in your mind while it plays. Awesome ReMix.

Okay, first off, those movie lines fit so damn well in context of this dark, creepy ReMix. The heavy distortion and how receptive you are when it comes to SFX and dialog definitely makes a difference on whether you love or hate this. Seems like a perfect ReMix to use in finding out what spectrum you're on. Personally, I like SFX when used right (like here), and I don't know enough about Magus' theme to comment on that, but the distortion creates a great dark atmosphere to me. Not my favorite thing from the artists, but it's still pretty good.

I love how smooth jazz makes some people think of the weather channel. Not that I'm disagreeing, cause that's what I think of when I hear songs in this style, but that's just funny to me. This ReMix is so incredibly smooth, certainly fitting of the name "crystal potion". Love that violin solo, and man, this ReMix makes me crave some warmer weather more than ever so I can chill out to this outside.

Ole! Haha, bulls and beers, how appropriate of a title for this ReMix. Can't get enough of those castanets! Electronic mixed with matador-esque Spanish sound, now that's unique and fun as hell to listen to. Recommended for sure and sounds like a home run from Guifrog if I've ever heard one.

I don't have a problem with the loudness of it all, but it wouldn't hurt to have more punch than noise, even in metal, but that's just me. Even still, this has plenty of punch and it's great to see Superstar Ultra get some love with this heavy as hell ReMix. Enjoyed the break in the middle as it goes into the more deliberate drives. Not bad at all on your debut.

Okay, first off, love those laughs you added in, cause that sealed it for me on this Shadow Queen mix. Pretty cool that you were able to also use parts of Otherworld to add to the overall metal attack of the song. Echoing DJP, I'd love to know what the voices are saying, but all in all, awesome debut mixpost.

Yeah, my favorite ReMix from Cyril yet and one of my favorite tracks from Maverick Rising as well! Before the album came out, I always thought the boss themes in MMX3 would be a bit tough to ReMix because of how repetitive they were to begin with, so I always thought if anyone did it, they would be used just as quick transitions or cameos. It's cool to see Cyril and Snell use them all to create a tense metal mix that really lays on the battle vibe, which I love in boss ReMixes. Production issues that others have pointed out aside, this ReMix sounds pretty sick and it's great to hear the MMX3 boss theme wrapped up together in a nice heavy package.

The original Final Fantasy has always had the best battle theme, and hearing the Dual Dragons and Brandon give it a menacing, aggressive, deliberate metal ReMix just appeals to everything I love in a battle ReMix. I actually love the idea they put in as treating the music as a representation of how the battle is faring as the song goes on, rather than remaining constant. Pretty cool idea to produce musically.

Okay, this ReMix and the movie that goes with it, epic as all hell! I may never have been the biggest Metroid fan (which may change when I actually get to playing them all the way through), but there's no denying that the games lend themselves to the most spectacular atmospheric tracks and ReMixes. Genius work, Sam Dillard.

Very upbeat and full of happy pop energy. It's nice to hear that kind of sugary ReMix every now and then. Definitely catchy and fits the colorful Pokemon world nicely.

Holy shit, that intro! And to be fair, the middle and end is pretty sick as well. Badass cinematic work at its best. This ReMix is now my favorite one by Nutritious. Very cool.

Breakbeat style plus the source tune of Fear Factory, that's a win on just about any day of the week. Throw in DjjD's production skills, and you have a tasty mix on your hands. Let the factory stand forevermore!

The arrangement kinda sounds like the inner workings of a giant clock at various parts to me, if that makes any sense. That beings said, I love this. Mallets sound pretty cool here. Very interesting ReMix to say the least. One of the best atmospheric tunes I've heard in the while.

I love FFX's Cid the most, actually. Great to see the Al Bhed patriarch getting some happy, upbeat and simply enjoyable love from this fun little ReMix. Not bad.

If I was an engineer (or any kind of mechanical worker at all), I would certainly use this as my theme. Has the perfect kind of working factory or lab sound, and of course I did the thunder sound at the end. One of the best tracks on the album, good work DjjD!

Heh, sorry, but the story behind this mixpost (and the mixup) is funny to me. But for the actual song, honestly, it's classic McVaffe. What is there to not like about this ReMix? A bit straightforward, but the quality has held up a hell of a lot better than other ReMixes that aren't as old as this one, so for a ReMix from way back when, this is still pretty good. Way to go McVaffe.

This is my kind of rocking metal ReMix, with a strong lead and an even more aggressive background while the drums help telegraph the kicks. Would definitely make for a perfect workout track. Loved the slow intro build with the melody making appearances over the top before this opens up like a crack of lightning. About as epic as hard rock can get. Think I'll be adding this one to my MP3 for sure.

Aw, yeah, loving the nature sounds in the background that pop up every now and then. Awesome cello and chiptune combination as well. Nice to hear the cello break out for a moment. Fantastic ReMix.

And this is why DrumUltima is DrumUltima. Because no one is more Ultima with Drums than DrumUltima. Come on, he's the Ultima. But seriously, amazing percussion work in this ReMix and this sets up that kind of African Savannah/ Prehistoric wasteland kind of vibe to me perfectly. I'd be thrilled to hear this kind of quality in any game or movie any day. Damn, this is good stuff. As for the title (brilliant by the way), this is a good chance to exercise a little thing we call "not taking every little thing so seriously". Life is better with humor and laughter than with anger.

Thirty seconds into this ReMix, and this vessel takes off like a rocket into the sea! This entire ReMix is like a five and a half moment voyage into pure metal rocking bliss. I think this is actually some of Virt and Snappleman's best work, but when you put two talented folks together, the results speak for themselves. Such a badass ReMix!

It's like you took Wicked Child and turned it up to an eleven and going all out on it. Loved how you slowed down a little halfway through the ReMix before going back into the harder edge again. Nice one.

Have to agree that the harmonica was a little sharp at times, but other than that very minor thing, excellent ReMix! Loving the bluegrass arrangement, and it totally fits for Kakariko! Amazing work and extremely welcoming sound for a little village. Nice job, Gramps.

The dubstep-like variations and glitching up of the melody makes this arrangement interesting to listen to. Rockos did a fine job of reworking the source into something different while keeping the dark spirit of the castles intact, which is great. Not bad for a debut mixpost.
