  1. I.....uh......wow. That image will haunt me for a little bit. But yeah, creepy twerky turkey aside, Happy Thanksgiving day folks!
  2. Actually loved the use of SFX and voice clips to go along with this electronic mix, and while it has a nice grit to the funk in some areas, it makes it sound unique. And kudos for getting not just regular Akuma, but Killing Moon in as well. Great stuff, man.
  3. Dude, amazing production and I'm loving the whole chip-like d'n'b arrangement. Quirky and lots of fun, with a bit of a sneaky edge that fits the Rocket's hideout nicely. Probably one of the better ReMixes from you that I can think of off the bat, but that's just a matter of taste. Cool stuff, TGH.
  4. Oh yeah, one of my favorite ReMixes from BadAss 2. Flexstyle really destroyed (in a good way, of course) the melodies of Top Man and Wily in this song with this dark and rough treatment. The beat goes hard in this one. Well done!
  5. Disco Dan is one of those classic ReMixers that you just love to listen to, be it new or older stuff, and to hear his take on Dr. Wily's 2nd stage from MM3 (which is one of my favorite Wily castle themes) is terrific. Love the electronica/dance work here, mostly because of the arrangement and the placement and build of the energy. What I mean is it doesn't come off as menacing but it's certainly built as a more dire trek than the more heroic takes on themes like this and Wily 1 from MM2 that I've heard. Fits the fight against Wily a bit better to me. Nice work, Disco Dan!
  6. Funky and fun as hell, man. This has my foot bouncing all over the place. It's awesome to see such a lively synth filled ReMix of Rabanastre.
  7. Those booms were like a musical explosion! Good job pulling that off so cleanly. Good to hear Mazedude put his touch all over this kind of arrangement to make it such a tough sounding yet folkish-hued ReMix.
  8. Happy belated birthday, Palpable! Hope yesterday rocked for you!
  9. Sounds absolutely warlike in it's metal. Just the right combination of aggression, energy and ass-kickin' rhythm. It's pretty sweet to see how this ReMix varies itself up as it goes along, which makes it that much easier to pay full attention. Wonderful ReMix, DusK, very strong first mixpost.
  10. Oh yeah, love the gritty robotic vocal clips in this! So much fun listening to this ReMix because of it. The electronica underneath it is smooth and sounds incredible. I can hear what DJP said about the Mortal Kombat kind of idea, but honestly, this is an awesome arrangement of one of the few Parappa songs I can stand, so well done, Anti-Syne!
  11. Interesting sound coming off the synths and the e-piano, but they work well together with the guitar to make a wonderful ReMix. Has a nice upbeat feeling to it, and while I also wish there was a little more past the ending solo, that's only because it was built up so well up to that point. Nice work, Ivan, and great ReMix!
  12. Somber and sad, but it does have a hopeful and meaningful message in the lyrics. Really sounds gorgeous for that very reason, along with the instrument choices. You guys' vocals sounded pretty good as well, bringing that emotion out of the ReMix. All in all, sounds great to me.
  13. Happy birthday to one of the best! Have a great one, Sixto!
  14. Oh man, I love this. So smooth and chill, and it's actually the kind of chill that can let you wind down while tapping your toes. That trumpet was terrific and certainly makes up for anything that could be nitpicked at with this ReMix. Honestly, between the arrangement style being well executed and the way I loved how Lava Reef was used, A+ from me.
  15. Odd intro, but very cool nonetheless. Powerful hits from the drums, and the electronica sounded great with the guitar providing some extra oomph to it. Great birthday debut, man!
  16. Holy crap that's awesome! And it's a catchy song on it's own as well. Nice find!
  17. I'm shocked that I haven't reviewed this yet. Fantastic atmosphere in this ReMix, which is why it's one of the best off the Maverick Rising album. Tight, surrounding trance with a great beat, certainly makes for an entertaining ReMix to me. Nice going!
  18. An ethnic jam eh? Well, alright. It does have a very distinctive Arabian or Middle Eastern feelings to it, which has always been a sound I've liked. Kinda adds to the wondrous world-view of NiGHTS in general. Pretty damn good, liked the cameo of Dreams Dreams as well.
  19. Very beginning reminds me almost like something out of an N+ game. I personally don't think it was too short, as it was about three minutes long, but it is a ReMix that seems to go by quickly because it's built up so impressively and flows like a river, which I think is nice. Great addition to the album and one of my favorites from it.
  20. I like the progression this ReMix makes from the more orchestral end to the aggressive metal sections later on. The menacing vibe it gives off as it builds up just makes it that much more satisfying when the metal comes on full force. Not bad at all, man!
