  1. Okay, so I totally love the idea of this long epic hip-hop rap 3 part ReMix with all the ReMixer's taking on the personas of both different game characters and famous rappers. Most were either almost spot on or close enough for a thumbs up. Nice first part.
  2. Happy birthday Dyne!
  3. YES! So glad to have OCAD back! Great return episode, fellas.
  4. Wonderfully upbeat and great on production value. It's always nice to hear a fresh take on a well-ReMixed source. Nice work, man.
  5. Happy birthday, you XPRT you!
  6. This is an example of a ReMixer taking a song and pulling a water into wine trick. For a soundtrack that not a lot of people like or know, you created a fine piece. Solid track.
  7. This is exactly what I would have loved Dirty Mix to be. It took the same idea and refined it completely. I'm not knocking Dirty Mix, because I still like that ReMix, but as chaotic/jet set arrangements go, I'm more on board with this. And thank goodness you used a Bruce Lee clip that wasn't "Be like water".
  8. Happy Theoryday!
  9. There's something about acoustic guitar that gives a song character that it wouldn't have with some other instruments, and even though this has bits of conservative and melody playing, it's that character and the arrangement idea that makes this shine. Very glad this got accepted, because a dual acoustic guitar arrangement of this many CastleVania tracks is something special the way it was played. Damn good stuff, fellas.
  10. Smooth, slick and funky! With a funny title, and a sweet mixing of sources together, this is a very entertaining ReMix! Great job, Theory of N!
  11. Pot Hocket always seems to bring something more out of even the most beautiful sources, and this is a great example of that. If this kind of music and arrangement style is your thing, it's easy to love. Wonderful ReMix right here.
  12. I'll be honest, I wasn't feeling this at the start, but the longer this ReMix went on, the more I began to like it. It really seemed to pull everything together shortly after the first minute. Very charming in a retro kind of way, mixing the quirky synths, the drums and the weird, but sorta happy melody. Not bad for your debut mixpost.
  13. Dude, you have a total knack for great smooth arrangements with neat little source cameos. I did chuckle a little at Gerudo Valley popping in, but it's such a welcomed addition to this ReMix, and those vocals by Sabrina are unbelievably gorgeous. I'm going to have to agree with Sarad, if you ever give Song of Storms a shot with an arrangement like this, that would be awesome. But this is a awesome ReMix in it's own right and I'll be enjoying this for a long time.
  14. Okay, so I absolutely love Besaid Island. The look, the music, and the general easy-going atmosphere makes it one of the towns that I would have picked to live in if given the chance in some fictional turn of events. That being said, DA's voice carries that same kind of easy-going, floating pleasantry that I originally got from that place. Gotta say, I think this may be one of my favorite vocal ReMixes from DA, and I think EFields handled the arrangement quite well. Nice work both of you.
  15. Wow, this is pretty freaking cool. Love the section around 1:49 as well, those were some good instrument choices there. Upbeat and cinematic, this just has a good feeling to it. Terrific ReMix, Moomba, seriously.
  16. This is a pretty damn good example of ReMixes that carry out a whole up and down emotional spectrum, and the arrangement style (along with the range the instruments went in) just hammers it in. Amazing collab by all of you!
  17. Happy Birthday, man! Have a great one!
  18. I'm pretty middle of the road on this one. While I enjoyed the ReMix and would listen to it again, probably several times, it just wasn't one of my favorites. Still, it's always nice to hear a dubstepish mix that isn't grating or annoying, so plenty of positives going on for this mix. Not bad.
  19. Woooo, boy, this is freaking blazing from all the energy and guitar work, but in a good way, as it seems to be right where it needs to be to sound great without going too overboard. I love heroic suped up J-Rock arrangement's like this that get you pumped, and being one of those arrangements that stick close to the source while putting your own personalization on it makes it all the better to me. Definitely recommended.
  20. I'm actually not looking forward to much since I'm spending more time trying to play games that I should have played years ago (classic NES/Sega and early PS2 stuff), but there are some that have caught my eye. Bravely Default- Normally don't play a whole lot of RPG's, but the hype this has been getting and the demo have me interested at least. Smash 4: Do I really need to elaborate? Smash for 3DS, done. Shantae and the Pirate's Curse: Story that makes sense from where the sequel left off, game mechanics being varied for the new pirate style, Jake Kaufman back on music......just have to see when this will actually come out. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze: Don't have a Wii U and certainly don't want a Wii U just for this one game, but I'll find a way to play this somehow down the line even if I have to borrow/rent a Wii U and the game from a friend. Kirby Triple Deluxe: Because Kirby hasn't let me down yet.
  21. Seriously, what is that bubbly popping sound in this ReMix? It sounds awesome and sounds like it fits right in with the rest of the instrumentation. Eino has been pumping out a lot of great work lately, and this is a fine addition to the collection. Good job on this Castlevania 64 mix.
  22. Rock that just comes out in full force without being too in your face is a nice change of pace from what I've been hearing lately, and this ReMix sounds like a terrific take on the map to me. Electric guitar carries a lot of power and the flow of the mix sounds natural. Pretty sweet, Psycho Crusher.
  23. The ending theme of Sonic 3 is one that I enjoyed for being of the of the few early Sonic endings to not be just a medley of previous stages, making it really feel like an ending. Good to see that spirit and "grand easing finale" feeling represented here. Some production elements are so open, they could be picked over like a vulture picking over Simba if you wanted to, but overall, I think the pros solidly outweigh the cons. Not bad, man.
  24. Certainly not what I was expecting from a Plok ReMix, but I'm pleasantly surprised. Impressive and creative arrangement from Mazedude, and I can totally feel some Ecco vibes coming out of this. Great production as well. You did a fine job with this ReMix, good sir!
