  1. Man, that is a strong beat you have going on here. I love the little distorted organ, and it worked out very well in this ReMix. I almost imagine those clicks as skeleton bones clicking, considering how this has a Halloween or spooky feel to it. I haven't played this game myself, but from what I've heard, this would fit well. The whole track is darkly upbeat and is a perfect example of a great dance beat.
  2. Hmmm, lounge jazz. It is a bit relaxing and comfortable to listen to. Not a fan of the bell chimes, as they sound a smidge sharp. I don't hate this ReMix at all though. It's got a nice peaceful vibe and would be great to have playing when your mind is elsewhere and you're busy doing stuff. Aside from some stiff sounds, not bad.
  3. What an intriguing way to start off, with a loud choir followed by some mechanical whirring as acoustic guitar plays. The guitar with the mechanical sounds showed a great contrast of human and inhuman, and then adding some tense elements along with the choir was great. Good hook for getting things started before it opens up and gets that beat going. The arrangement and production was nice and it didn't really feel like it was more than seven minutes. That's how enjoyable it is. The way all those different facets joined together made this one of the best tracks on the album (that I've heard so far. I'm not even half-way through this massive thing!) Awesome return by Stephan Kennedy and once again, Stevo delivers. Great job to both men.
  4. This is beautiful, and I mean that in the way that the trance genre can just lift you up and send you somewhere else if you lie back and relax. It never seems to get repetitive and it's always changing, which is splendid. The production sounded sweet and I hear nothing wrong here. The idea and story behind the arrangement is chilling and it's so cool how you can combine that with parts of the source material. I've got so much respect for what the album and the artists have accomplished here. Overall, this is a very impressive ReMix. Great work, bLiNd!
  5. Pretty cool build-up in the beginning of this track. I love how it swells up from a crystal-cave sounding thing and kind of just comes off as a grand atmospheric song with a bit of a driving edge to it. It just keeps going and going, getting heavier, until breaking off a little in the middle of the third minute and going right back to where it started. Really gives off an ethereal soundscape sound and I love it. Another awesome track off of the album.
  6. Whoa....that is one smooth opening! The kids yelling was an interesting touch to this funky, somewhat slightly elegant grooving ReMix, and it's certainly unique. It's really fun to listen to and has a nice, solid beat that is extremely catchy and gets you moving. Great work with the piano as well. The arrangement is terrific and everything sounds totally sweet. Another fantastic ReMix by Diggi Dis.
  7. I've been looking forward to this album for a long time. This ReMix nails the western genre feel in the beginning before hitting harder with Stevo's trademark guitar shredding, which took it up another level. This was a perfect way to open up the flood and it really gets you pumped up. The opening with the acoustic guitar and western sounds set the whole song up amazingly. The whistle ending........oh damn, man, that had me grinning from ear to ear, because it just fit so perfectly. This painted the picture of Wild Arms very well. Nice work.
  8. I finished doing that yesterday. Until the Wild Arms album hits, I'm out of tracks with less than 10 reviews. Hopefully everyone can get one final push going for the next week and a half. We're way too close to stop now! Come on, fellas, let's go!
  9. Ooh, I like! Very dark and spooky in it's ambient intro with the sound of a ominous storm hitting, complete with thunder, rain and wind. After that it still maintains a cool dark atmosphere while picking the mood up a hair, almost to a majestic level of crystallized darkness. You know, you're right! It sounds like it'd fit right in perfectly with the rest of Bejeweled 2's soundtrack.
  10. Nice title. I'm not really a fan of distorted jazz, but this was nice and for my tastes, was the perfect length. I gotta say that I enjoy the later part of this song when everything seemed to pick up a bit and the sax kicked in. It's a good ReMix, and I enjoyed listening to it for it's creativeness. I have a feeling that the more I listen to it, the more it'll grow on me. Nice work.
  11. That "Reaper" sounding intro leading into a full blown fast-paced hard rock anthem is excellent! The solos were absolutely fantastic and I enjoyed the vocals in this. The entire arrangement rocked and the production sounded top-notch. The breakdown around 2:25 was one of the highlights of this ReMix to me. Insanely good ending as well. Amazing work, fellas.
  12. Ahhhh, what a nice and peaceful piece of music. It really does sound like friendship theme with a bit of a pop edge to it. Love the piano in here and I actually almost got a "you are my sunshine" feeling out of it right before the second minute. The synths were done very well in this ReMix and this is a well-needed song for getting a smile back on gloomy days. Beautiful stuff, great job.
  13. Oh, a tense dark ReMix! I love those strings you added in the intro and the drums back them up nicely right before the metal opens up at the end of the first minute. Sounds really evil until the break, but still maintains a slightly menacing feel with the guitar. Wonderful work with the guitar solos and the overall arrangement. It's got a monstrous attitude and this is going' right in my playlist.
  14. This is pretty fun ReMix to listen to. That combination of guitar and violin was awesome and had a very cool mix of orchestration and rock that I wasn't really expecting. It's the perfect length, the instruments sounded good and I'm loving the direction you took this in. Really great work on this ReMix.
  15. The piano intro was a good intro to a great rock ReMix. Everything sounded awesome and clear, and while the arrangement got pretty close in certain areas, it still manages to pull off a cool anthem-like sound. Oh, man, that soloing near the ending was freaking amazing. And I enjoyed how it came to an almost heroic finish with it slowing down slightly. Very strong finish and a sweet collab ReMix.
  16. Man, when this ReMix opens up with those driving guitars, this piece rocks HARD! I'm a real fan of the rocking melody being backed up by all the synths, drums and bass. Great take on the Boss theme. I gotta say, normally I don't like high synth sounding openings like that, but thankfully it wasn't out alone for too long, and once everything emerged to follow its lead, I enjoyed it. Terrific ReMix, OA.
  17. I'm really enjoying the up and down arrangement of this entire ReMix. It was a neat idea to have the guitars here go from harder to softer piano and such. The light sections sound happy and puffy, while the harder areas keep this from being too light and poppy. The piano was nicely done and I was impressed by the balance here. Great arrangement, solid production and the whole sounds fantastic.
  18. Well, that is an interesting ReMix title. Very happy and light-hearted, this one is. It does vaguely have a bit of a garden/tea party sound to it, and it's very pleasant to the ear. I just love how tastefully happy this song is, and while tastefully happy isn't really my thing, this was a wonderfully done ReMix. Great instrument choices, neat arrangement and good production. What a lovely cup o' tea this is.
  19. Wow. After the last three AC ReMixes that I heard had faster, frantic tempo, this surprised me in a good way with a slower, more rock-inducted electronic song. Where the other ReMixes put me in a hyper high, this brought me back to an almost peaceful harmonic state. 1:20's area was very interesting and all in all, this ReMix was very solid. The vocals were amazingly beautiful and this is a great track off one of my favorite albums.
  20. Nice to hear a little bit of rock and some guitars and such in the type of dance/electronica music I love so much. The robo-vocals were amazing and DA completely nailed this part down. It was almost like a robot trying to solo a rock song, and it's oddly amusing in a great way. So much energy, it's really hard to hate this and not want to move around. The ending was a little abrupt to me, but I can easily forgive that considering what was being done here.
  21. Nice, somewhat somber opening with the Prelude theme over top of the guitar and bell. I actually thought this was pretty cool to lead in with right before the happier guitar playing moments later as a contrast, and the song just picks up from there. It's got a great peaceful feeling, like everything is gonna be okay. The arrangement is awesome and damn near perfect, and I think the production was rather clean, so really, amazing ReMix with no qualms from me.
  22. Third on agreeing. I actually got the picture of a clock-like beat to this with the pizzicato before reading the write-up, but I can see the thief thing now that I think about it. This is very creative and interesting, with a nice upbeat feeling to it. It really gets a bit weird and quirky, but that just adds to the cleverness of this ReMix. Great ReMix all the way through and I can't think of any complaints here. Nice job.
  23. I love the crystal bell-sounding intro and the little bit of energy this brings to the darker atmosphere here. Not sure I could dance to this at all, but it's definitely a toe-tapper (or head-nodder if you prefer). It's got a fantastic beat and while some of the notes in this seem a bit too sharp, it's got a great arrangement and the production is done nicely. Great ideas with the wiggly synth and I liked the ending as well. Good ReMix here.
  24. Heh, nice funky-semi-Japanese ReMix you got here, Morse. Yamato Man really was ridiculous, but his theme was still good, and you really expanded on it with some groovin' jazz beats. I love how you were able to keep some ethnic feel to this ReMix while making it into something you can really dance to. I wasn't crazy about the glitchy part right around 2:50,but other than that one small thing, I loved this tune. Truly nice work, man.
  25. Liking the chill static intro here, and the entire atmosphere of this ReMix does scream icy area. The bass sounded nice and I really enjoyed the speed-up just after a minute. The whole thing got pretty busy near the end without sounding like a mess, so really nice. I don't think it was that short, but it was a bit shorter than I would have thought. Still, long or short, Mazedude delivers on this ReMix.
