  1. I heard that the album is real, but the tracks are just sound clips from the tv show.
  2. Terraria, FTL, Don't Starve, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II. Of them all, I think FTL and Terraria are probably tied for favorite - FTL fulfills one of my lifelong dreams as a starship commander, but Terraria has so much variety and personalization to it. And both have so much replayability.
  3. I've always preferred Gen 2, myself. Then again, I've never listened to any of the music past Gen 4. It's a great idea, and I think the dividing by region idea is a good one. You could do it a la DarkeSword's FF5 album idea - make each region an installment of the whole, with a track for each gym, and maybe a ninth track combining the Elite Four/champion themes.
  4. Out of curiosity, will you also be offering the ability to buy tracks off of the albums on an individual basis at any point in the future?
  5. Valid request. Super Smash Bros 4. - I love the Smash series, and I'm really excited to see how the new characters work with the old lineup. Watch Dogs. - Looks like it has huge potential for innovative gameplay, and a decent storyline, with a lot of great possibilities for deep topics. And most of all, Transistor. (I'm assuming it's still releasing this year, I haven't heard otherwise.) What can I say? Bastion was my GotY when it came out, a pitch-perfect game, and it looks to me like they've captured most of that lightning in the bottle of Transistor. It's my one must-have game for the upcoming year, and I might not even wait for it to go on sale, which is unheard of for me these days. Also, I forgot it when I did my previous list, but Hearthstone. I've seen a lot of gameplay of it, and it just looks plain old fun, while at the same time having enough challenge and variety in it to keep me interested... especially if they add a few more cards to each class.
  6. Welcome to the forums, Steve! More Uematsu fans are always welcome. And I know we've got a lot of Fruityloops users around here, so I'm sure you'll find a lot you can learn around here.
  7. If it's in the bank, it's fair game, AFAIK. Never seen anything to indicate otherwise.
  8. Super Smash Bros 4. Watch Dogs. And most of all, Transistor. (I'm assuming it's still releasing this year, I haven't heard otherwise.)
  9. Can I vote for cake instead? (In all seriousness, voted. )
  10. You most definitely should! I'd love to see "She Stole His Heart... Then His Wallet" on the front page someday.
  11. Damn, this is one hell of an awesome Mass Effect remix, thin drums included. I always thought it'd be cool to find out that the Galaxy Map's music was some sort of folk music/traditional asari tune/something heard throughout the galaxy for centuries, and this feels like a cover by a rock band, maybe comprised of turians or krogans. It's the perfect New Year's present!
  12. You could probably just pick someone to be your accountability partner, and message them every Friday what tracks you've done since last Friday.
  13. Epic Orchestral/Soundtrack-style VGM remixes do it for me. In particular: Inner Light (Track 4-07) Crying Planet
  14. Congrats! I can't wait to hear the panel-approved version.
  15. Congratulations on your fatherhood!
  16. One of my favorites off of the Eevee album, this track comes with Blue Magic's usual excellent writing and arranging. Even if you don't like Pokemon music, I highly recommend giving this one a chance - I doubt you'll regret it.
  17. My resolutions: 1) Get one year's expenses saved up in the bank. (I'm at 8 months as of today, hopefully shouldn't be too hard.) 2) Start retirement savings. (Again, even if it's just $15 a paycheck, shouldn't be too hard.) 3) Get back into college to finish my degree. 4) Finish my first novel. (Probably won't happen, but eh, I can try.)
  18. Merriest of Christmases to all, and a great New Year. And if you celebrate anything else, have a great one of those, too.
  19. This was, hands-down, one of my favorite mixes from the compo, and I'm glad to see you pursuing it all the way through! Best of luck with the panel.
  20. I am ALL sorts of okay with all three of these moves. Congrats to all!
  21. From what I've seen of it so far, Starbound's a heck of a lot harder than Terraria. Having said that, fun as all get out.
  22. Yeah, gotta say, I've been on half a dozen forums over the years, and OCR takes the cake by lightyears in terms of community. And pretty much every other terms, too.
