I could just use a shelf. I saw an ikeahack for making bass traps out of a 24 shelving unit . it was a thought though, i have a loft bed in my room/studio and thought of putting my vocal booth in there. and putting blinds or curtains or some sort of sound proofing around it. I assume movers blankets would be a good option for now ?

I have a question about acoustics. theoretically, would using wooden venetian blinds do any sort of diffusion if you staggered the way each slat faced throughout the length of the blind? yes it would ruin the blind, but theyre still cheaper than a real diffuser. im just worried that youd get some sort of slap back reverb because of the wood. i have other acoustics questions, but i dont remember them at this time

this might be a dumb question, ok two dumb questions: 1. whats the difference between projects and the recruitment thread? is one official and one not? 2. do you have to be posted to join an official project? or just workshop the hell out of a mix until its up to proper quality?

ik multimedia did just make a really nice voice recorder. otherwise you could try rd3 or caustic? seems like most android music apps ive found were just oldschool step sequencer style apps. I heard FL mobile was coming to android so you could keep an eye on that. otherwise there might be a piano app that lets you record little melodies. edit: just looked and i guess fl mobile is already out for android! is a hefty 20$ but its a pretty nice app for sketching musical ideas on the go, and you can sync it with desktop FL

took more cramming than id like and i have no idea what the genre is, but id say its pretty enjoyable! this source has such a goofy vibe that i felt like trying to really catch onto with this remix.

i know someone who could beat that game in like 2 minutes slower than the record time. i dont even know how its done.

i just use some random layered drums i got from syllix in RMwtS, as well as free loops and samples from musicradar.com. maybe eventually ill upgrade to fancier libraries if i ever find the need. i had some free "cinematic drums" samples from impact soundworks someplace but i think i accidentally cleared my downloads folder before i got a chance to organize them
