I like the idea. Maybe remix 1 theme from each cup from each game? So disc Mushroom Cup has one remix from each Kart game from a Mushroom Cup track. Only thing that worries me is leaving out some cool themes because of that

Mixing needs some more work. Drums and rhytm guitar completely drown the rest of the instruments. Cymbals for example are very loud. The first section (Ryoshima) sounds very muddy, I can barely identify what the rhytm guitar is playing. Strings are completely drowned in that section by the way. Flute in 0:42 plays a wrong note! I'm not sure I like the lead tone. I think it would sound better with a bit of a softer tone, this one is too agressive and doesn't blend that well with the flute. The solo also sounds a bit dirty, but I believe that is more because of the mixing rather than the playing. Arrangement is good, the blend of the different themes is seamless and you picked many of Okami's best themes. The switch to Reset is very good! With better mixing this would be a pretty good song. Try to balance the rhytm sections better and give some space for the leads to shine! Also, the change to clean guitars in the ending is great. In fact, I'd love it if you inserted more of this type of changes into the rest of the song

Bass sounds like an E. Piano, I don't think it's a bad electric bass sample I love your chill tracks and this one sounds pretty good. I love the drums but I'd probably add a bit more reverb to the snare. The quick hi hat fills you added are nice but sound a bit mechanical. I hope you continue this!

It sounds promising, but the volume balance is pretty off right now. In the intro I can barely hear the low piano notes, and the rest of the instruments that come later are also quite low. Panning in the strings is kind of weird too. So far it is conservative but that theme is so beautiful that I don't mind that at all! Good job so far and I look forward to a more complete version!

There is some great music in Mario Kart games. Maybe people could suggest possible themes to remix? I personally love Rainbow Road (SNES) and Toad's Turnpike (N64). Mario Circuit (SNES) is cool too but the Brawl remix is so perfect haha.

One thing I've always wanted to post here... About envelopes. Pressing V will open/close the volume envelope of the current active track. Same works for the pan envelope by pressing P, so you don't have to spend time creating functions for that

It's true that reviewers give a lot of 10/10 nowadays, but I think that this time it's for real! I don't think that Eurogamer gives that many 10/10s though. Also, that Mario&Sonic soundtrack is sick. The Buoy Base remix is incredible.

What about RPGs? I think Super Mario RPG and some of the games from the Mario&Luigi series have map themes.
