  1. dude, your percussion sounds great! I always get jealous when a sample can play a better snare drum roll than I can >.>
  2. Yeah, i stretch a ton. I think i was just overdoing it for a while, so i'm trying to take it easy. but it's been getting better!
  3. ROFL thank you jon. One of the best games I've ever played, possibly the closest thing to a "perfect game" I've ever played. Here are some handy links! http://www.cavestory.org/index.php http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cave_Story Cave story is an everything ripoff! That's the point! Each level, supposedly, was a tribute to a different game.
  4. super mariooooooooooo rpg! it is the only game just for me. i also bought mario 64, zelda oot, mario 3, zelda original, and am def buying cave story when it comes out
  5. my legs have been bothering me a lot lately, but i ran 2 miles in 15:34 today, which is like a 7:45 mile. But most importantly, my legs didn't hurt! that was nice.
  6. i had to do these at one point in rehabilitating my tendonitis. They are a bitch!!!
  7. Well nobody really took any pictures so here's all i've got:
  8. Gotcha. In that case, good: that's what I picked out primarily!
  9. you know, I do not know the difference between cool jazz and smooth jazz. I guess I'm pathetic! But I can at least point you towards some for sure jazz: Neskvartetten: http://www.ocremix.org/remixer/neskvartetten/ - these guys are fantastic. Drums, organ, guitar, sax. Estradasphere: http://www.ocremix.org/remixer/estradasphere/ - fantastic quasi-big band arrangement of mario 2 Shnabubula: http://www.ocremix.org/remixer/shnabubula/ - Not everything he does is straight up jazz, but everything he does is greatly influenced by it. He's a fantastic jazz pianist. Some things more up your alley include Starflake Jazz, Samus Bubblebath, Pegasus Boots, Sugar Water Purple, and In the Beginning There Was Jazz. Red Tailed Fox: http://www.ocremix.org/remixer/redtailedfox/ - I wouldn't say he's straight up jazz, but he's heavily influenced by it. Joshua Morse: http://www.ocremix.org/remixer/joshuamorse/ - Honestly more smooth jazz, but still some great influences in his work too. That's all I can think of for now. Happy Hunting!
  10. hoboka where is your bass!!!!! also this is very repetitive. Do i really have to scold you for this? you go back to your room young man.
  11. ugh, i feel like every time I go to the gym now I hurt my legs. It's like having tendonitis all over again. So I haven't been in a few days :[
  12. yeah, I was actually gonna say that it makes more sense to give critical reviews in the wip stages than after the final product is not only, submitted, but accepted. It takes a lot of work to get a remix "good enough" to submit here in the first place, so criticism is most productive while in that stage--as opposed to after you've done it. Of course, that's not to say that one can't learn from a review of a final product, given that they do plan on remixing again I don't even consider that to be criticism...
  13. yeah, i only really review if a remix has really GRABBED me. Otherwise I don't bother.
  14. My roommate and I were Mario and Luigi, as effected by the plummeting economy and America's recent decision to end trade to the mushroom kingdom. PICS SOON!
  15. prob sonic 1, even tho i still play it all the time
  16. Well, goals are: 1. Get rid of tendonitis 2. Weigh 170 lbs or less 3. Run a 6:30 mile yeehaw!
  17. god I have so many pokemon cards, I could make millions. But I don't want to get rid of them....
