  1. Asking for free copies of commercial software is not allowed on this forum.

  2. Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake
  3. Good god what kind of ping are you playing with where every backstab looks like a poke?
  4. Probably not, but check out last year's Batman Beyond miniseries where she makes an appearance.
  5. Picked it up today. It was pretty great; featured the JLA too!
  6. For anyone who loved the old TV series, DC Comics is publishing the continuing adventures of Terry McGinnis in a brand new ongoing monthly series, starting today. The first issue is for sale in both stores and on Comixology's digital store. http://dcu.blog.dccomics.com/2011/01/05/dc-comics-to-publish-batman-beyond-ongoing-comic-series-digitally-day-and-date/
  7. What's the deal, K? Where art thou?
  8. Your sig is too tall. Sigs can't be over 250px tall. Please resize/change it.

  9. A remix contest that we can only enter if we give you guys money. That's nice. Usually I wouldn't mind that this wasn't VGM oriented; people post about remix contests run by bands every once in a while and it's okay, but I've never seen anyone ask for money too. Anyway, gonna lock this up. No soliciting please.
  10. "Miles...Miles Davis, he kept puttin' this thing on the end of his horn to make it sound less like a trumpet. What's wrong with him?!" ROFL
  11. George Lucas rarely has any involvement with the stories in any Expanded Universe material. He consulted a bit on the PREMISE of the first TFU game (the concept of Vader having a secret apprentice), but he likely doesn't even know who Juno Eclipse is. Books, comics, and games are basically controlled by their respective writers, with oversight provided by Lucas Licensing. Lucas has a hand in guiding the Clone Wars TV show, but even then, there are the actual writers. Also, threads about video games belong in community.
  12. Let's stay on topic here.
  13. I'm fairly certain you have no idea what you're talking about.
  14. No I'm not going to do that.
  15. This thread is locked because it seems as though nobody can talk about Final Fantasy or Square Enix without bitching and moaning.
  16. The short answer is yes. The long answer is, as always, that it depends on the approach taken in the submission. Would a three chord source work as an OC ReMix? As we always say, as long as the piece is recognizably an arrangement of the source material, then it's fair game. Is there enough material there to build a complete, cohesive piece? That's up to the artist to determine and accomplish. Would it pass? We have to hear the remix before we can say anything.
  17. Yeah I just played it for like a couple of hours. So damn good.
  18. That song has a melodic chorus. In any case, I should stress again that this is the Ask a Judge thread, not the Ask a Brandon Strader, Ask a Rozovian, or Ask a Somebody Who's Not a Judge thread. People are asking questions in here specifically for an official answer from a judge. In other words, if you're not a judge, please don't answer, because you're only adding to confusion.
  19. Hopefully it's another old-style spin-off style game like 4 Heroes of Light. That game is quite excellent.
  20. Yeah those books are good; it's a brand new superhero universe created by Stan Lee. Very good. Also from Boom Studios is Irredeemable, which I cannot recommend enough.
  21. Congratulations to Txai, who won this year's Grand Maverick Remix Battle. Congratulations to all artists who participated. We got some killer music out of this competition. Remember folks, please grab the updated zip file from the first post for all of the remixes with updated album art and fixed tags if you haven't already. Stay tuned this spring for the next Grand Robot Master Remix Battle!
