  1. Nope, it's not. It's not in the server rules and it's not something we should enforce. I won't enforce "messing around" rules. That's just something you gotta deal with. Get a bunch of guys to switch to pyro and blow them back. Or everyone go heavy and rain bullets on them. That door is the reason we added the opaque rule in the first place, because we treat it as a "spawn door" for the first two points of Badwater (even though you can go around). Might be easier if we just specify that door as off-limits in the MOTD.
  2. The MOTD is poorly written and it needs to be changed. The rule refers to spawn camping opaque spawn doors, not random opaque doors that are all over the level. Here's how I do it: if anyone wants to play seriously, let them play seriously. People can and will complain (I know I did the other night) but really, we shouldn't enforce anything that's not in the server rules. If a scout is running around FaNing heavies who all want to melee only, then that's just something the heavies have to deal with. People shouldn't votekick/voteban the people who want to play seriously either. Unless we plan specific stuff out in advance, we shouldn't enforce arbitrary "messing around" stuff.
  3. Nobody will think less of you if you do so. Please let us know about your new albums when they are coming out. Or just get Rama to do your PR.
  4. Well, just a quick thing about BB: People always talk about how it's useless because any good player always checks their flank and blah blah blah, but really, besides regulars, how many consistently good players do you encounter? We get a lot of pubs on OCR, which means I'm able to pull off stuff like backburning three medics clumped together behind a single heavy in the matter of one second. I don't use Back Burner all the time because it's really a situational weapon, but when the situation is "the other team has crappy medics and I can flank them over and over again," you can bet that I'm going to use Back Burner. Plus I love the sound of stuttering crits.
  5. Don't bump twice in the same day. There comes a time when you just have to work on something on your own.
  6. Try out Seiken Densetsu 3 over netplay.
  7. All three of my tracks are okay to use, but please use the OC ReMix version of Blue Skies Over Guardia instead of the album version. In any case, project mixes fall under the OCR Terms of Use in the Content Policy. Make sure to read that.
  8. I've had a lot of success lately with backburner.
  9. I noticed I seemed to be getting crit fire a lot more often last night while using the AB.
  10. Shinkenger 22 is out! It's a Kotoha focus episode. Go get it!
  11. This is actually already in the works. Not sure when it's rolling out, but djpretzel did talk to me about it a couple of weeks ago. Keep your eyes peeled.
  12. Try softmodding?
  13. JOBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM Pretty good man, though you could probably get some smoother sounds. I'd like to hear your version of "Wave."
  14. Yeah it's up to Red Omen if he wants to call it, but don't let it go over a week.
  15. Super Metroid has been done twice, not Metroid Prime. He said, "Metroid Prime," not, "a metroid game." Please read before you post.
  16. holy crap
  17. WINNER Red Omen, NEXT TOPIC, GO
  18. In the 2nd season, CB realized they did more harm than good. And the A-Laws committed absolute atrocities in the name of "preserving order." Memento Mori, anyone?
  19. For some reason Raptr doesn't import any of my statistics for Steam games aside from achievements. Apparently my most played game is Halo 3 for 360, despite not having played it for a couple of months, whereas I play TF2 on PC at least 4-5 nights of the week. Any insight?
  20. laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame
  21. My friends, part two of the Decade/Shinkenger crossover is out! Be sure to grab Kamen Rider Decade 25 from our friends at TVNihon.
  22. Deleted trolling posts. Carry on.
  23. Try Bounen no Xam'd, aka Xam'd: Lost Memories. It's made by the same folks that did Eureka 7, and it's got a similarly grand tone.
  24. Fruity Parametric EQ works. Basically what you want to do is fiddle around with the knobs to make a downward spike around the frequency you're trying to kill.
