I smell clipping, and I don't think the arrangement is liberal enough for OCR. It reminds me of one of my Chrono Trigger mixes, where I basically soloed instruments over the existing baseline and chords...there isn't enough reinterpretation on their end. And I agree with Atma; I want to melt that trumpet.

This is probably why I still have it labeled WiP v2...I should probably fix that. I recorded it, the saxophone itself is a Yamaha (I believe a student model because I'm poor), and the song is in A minor, meaning I played in B minor on the sax.

Depends on your tastes, really. The original album has Luna Sans singing in Latin in all of the tracks, while the Piri Reis remixes album has all of those songs without the singing, plus two bonus tracks not on the other album.

I found out about this last week or so, and purchased through iTunes. Absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend for anyone who loved the first album and/or love cinematic music.

I got this MacBook Pro with my college tution. Apparently it was the newest model to come out, with a new "mecury-free" screen and other stuff...it also came with free PhotoShop (as well as an assload of Adobe programs), and Sibelius 5, Reason, and BandInABox. But yeah, I'll have to echo about the programs being as reliable as their Windows counterparts, and how sometimes the systems locks up for no reason and there is no "command prompt" that allows you to fix anything. tl;dr -

This must be the theme for the Metroid movie. Hands-down. Just a reverb for what everyone else has said: solid writing, awesome direction. I'll be keeping an eye on this.

I seem to be one who prefers the SMW "slickness," but this may only be in part to the massive quantites of rom hacks I've played. I'll admit, I haven't played SMB3 in a while, so this could also be another reasoning.

Harry Gregson-Williams arranged the MGS theme for MGS2, MGS3, and MGS4. The original piece was written by Tappy. That's why everyone is getting confused. Though I hope this doesn't mean another piece of VG music will be taken down on the grounds of "not originally for the game" ?

I saw it already. Absolutely amazing. Everything that defined the 60's was jammed into this movie and glorified. Favorite part was when Strawberry Fields Forever was played.

This reminds me of last Wednesday, when I went to my Composition workshop: Prof.: "I've got good news and bad news, fellas! What do you want to hear first?" Us: "Uh...the bad news?" Prof.: "You are enrolled to a life of employment as of the moment!" Us: "Ha, ok...so what's the good news?" Prof.: "What good news?" Then we learned that out of every industry that you can get into, video games have now overtaken Hollywood in the "Most Money" category. Though I remember zircon saying this like, 6 months ago so I already knew...and it's not like you can just waltz up there to the top anyhow...
