  1. I agree some great ideas. I really enjoy some of the synth choices and the way the in-game sound effects have their little "percussive" moments. I just find some of the notes in the beginning either don't fit or are out of tune. Things get much better as the track goes along though. Keep working on it.
  2. Whatever...

  3. Hi all. If there are any Soundcloud users here, feel free to submit your songs to the VGMix soundcloud group I just created while vgremix.com is continually being maintained. https://soundcloud.com/groups/vgmix-the-video-game-remix-group Peace out and happy to be of service. -Aaron
  4. Definitely a source heavy remix with some nice transposing and drum fills. The synth work is very novel but gives me a bit of a subtle Madeon vibe especially around the 2:00 where the transposing happens. The strings are also a nice stuff along with the wah laiden stuff. Although the drum work is not much more than your average four on the floor beat, it's enough to hold a solid groove together. I'll be bumping this one for a while.
  5. Glad to see one of my older songs in the Roulette: http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR00868

  6. Brandon's right. An Android smartphone with the n7player app is the best combination. But you may want to talk with your provider about portable smart card options.
  7. Introducing a new character...

  8. Those arpeggios! That alone makes this an automatic repeat on my playlist of "unce unce" mixes.
  9. YouTube has been cracking down on random videos with copywritten content. Is your channel part of a network that can vouch for you if you have a partnership? If so, have you consulted them? If you don't have a "Youtube network" partnership and you're uploading stuff based on copywritten Sonic Team or Sega material, it's pretty much like having sex with no protection, There's a risk of getting a terrible burn.
  10. Even though I only have one reject that I really enjoy, I approve of this thread. Perhaps I should finally put my web design skills to good use and start designing an ocrejex site idea. EDIT: Oh, wait...http://remix.thasauce.net/about/
  11. Fixed. I've admired Sir J as a vocalist and a rapper for sometime. This has to be one of his best vocal performances. He must have had a lot of fun remixing a classic I keep hearing when my Dad played this game while I was home. And yes. The instrumentation is very well composed. Loving the brass and the reference to the Flash TV show!
  12. I'd say Mario Party section or Mario Parkour Area to do jumps just like the plumber. The concept could be similar to this:
  13. I'd say Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, Avicii and a ton of stuff from the 90s dance music scene. As for OC remixers, zircon, bLiNd, ProtoRaptore, po, Sixto Sounds, and Brandon Strader.
  14. I find myself listening to "Get Lucky" or any of Daft Punk's newer songs during summertime when it's hot outside.
  15. The concept pretty much rang familiar to me after sitting through a Harry Potter movie marathon with my wife and sister-in-law. I'm indifferent when it comes to JK Rowling's stories, but still dug the score John Williams wrote in the original as well as this interpretation of Stone and Flashman's themes. I also got a vibe that a remix like this would be something The Royal Family would use for fanfare in some areas. Very well put together. I'll have this on repeat as I close my eyes and think of England! May this remix save the Queen at some point in history if needed.
  16. New comic introducing a character who runs like Quicksilver on lifewithaaron.com

  17. I've been digging a lot of Cyril's tracks but hardly hear him sing. Definitely got a J-pop sound going on. Great lyrics with soulful vocals indeed. Will be listening to this until you submit another.
  18. Found an issue; there's no way of knowing which forum members are OC Remixers.
  19. I just mix my tracks at the current level I use so no one will have to touch the volume knob to turn it up, or turn it down because of clipping. Could be a standard from good production practices, but really, I do it for other people's benefit, not necessarily for loudness or to stand out.
  20. Sheesh. I was wondering why it took a long damn time to load the forums.
  21. What's on my mind? What is this, Facebook?

  22. It's a great game but doesn't get much hype around mid Canada. I had a friend ask me what weapon I liked in Bloodborne and I went on to list and talk about the 5 I liked in depth and he didn't even respond with the full name of the axe in the game. I feel so embarrassed even texting about a game in detail.
