Instrumental & Vocal Skills (Other)

  1. Source: Gonna take a stab at this one for Review. I'm more open to altering the actual structure if it's necessary. That includes instrumentation, effects and length if need be. I'm motivated to get this one posted!! Please help! :3
  2. Here's a chill hip-hop/electronica arrangement of the 'Save Theme' from Resident Evil 4. Happy Halloween.
  3. Another fall mood remix. Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1R1jnHHtY-0xL2IkNRDrHVSeZn4BjXKfb/view?usp=sharing Source: Rose and Ghost https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyVkTZ9QjC4
  4. Hey guys, Here's a new arrangement, a full Orchestral arrangement of the slow, meditative, Theme of Love from Final Fantasy IV. I always felt this piece could do with a nice polished sheen to it like Hollywood film music, so I tried that in this arrangement. Disclaimer: Original music is by Nobuo Uematsu, visuals are in-game cutscenes.
  5. I made an orchestral medley out of a couple Chrono Cross themes. Any feedback is welcome, and thanks for listening!
  6. Looks like I hit the post limit in my other topic - but I'll continue here. This time we've got a Zelda's Lullaby remix.
  7. Wroom wroom noises here Not submitting this as it's very "color within the lines" cover stuff moreso than a proper remix. Still, these old Amiga games don't necessarily get the love they deserve. Enjoy. c:
  8. https://youtu.be/_xPqx0-ssXw Star Fox remix my buddy, Tee Lopes, and I recently had a lot of fun putting together.
  9. Been a while, Quarantine boredom has brought back all my old bad habits, including messing around with FL. It's not quite up to modern OCR standards but I had fun making it. Tips on production are welcome. If the lockdown continues I might try another. 10. hi after the years, I decided to go back to the roots and returned from Synesthesics to Mellow Sonic. The nostalgia factor was just too huge. :p ok next part of ratchet remixes now from gladiator/deadlocked, the valix belt. enjoy
  11. Hi everybody, Here's a new upload to YouTube for you all, a Waltz for Piano based on Song of Storms from Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time, in part inspired by Franz Liszt. Enjoy! DISCLAIMER - Original music by Koji Kondo
  12. The source song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nL-c6SuyG8A&t My remix - Runic Woods: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13312Si7XZ8ZVzajqw5-aWz0a_CwUbuwz/view
  13. A remake of Ordon Ranch from Twilight Princess, with just a touch of Zelda's theme in the middle to make it special.
  14. Jill and I are both big fans of Aeralie's work, particularly on the Ori series, and we've always wanted to collaborate with her... so we did! We've been arranging Final Fantasy 7 for over a decade now (our first remix together was Deliverance of the Heart all the way back in 2007) but it's just such a good soundtrack we keep coming back to it. I wanted to keep the production mostly out of the way here, since with two strong (and complementary) voices there wouldn't be enough room for too much underlying stuff. So it's basically all Omnisphere with some careful mixing to make sure all the background vocal layers and leads could sit properly, along with precisely sculpted reverb... We did consider having more percussion too but I think it would have ultimately taken away from the beauty of the themes themselves. Keeping it atmospheric and melodic seemed like the way to go. Enjoy!
  15. Hi everyone! Here's the latest arrangement - Tal Tal Heights from The Legend of Zelda - Link's Awakening. In this piece I wanted to steadily increase the intensity of the Orchestration from quiet strings in the beginning, to full heroic Orchestra by the end. DISCLAIMER: Original music is by Ryo Nagamatsu, visuals are in-game play.
