  1. My remix and remake of Frappe Snowland from Mario Kart 64, mixed with Sherbet Land from Mario Kart Double Dash (the best Mario kart).
  2. Around a year ago i created a remix of a Turrican 1 track (which i posted here) which was followed by 2 other remixes from Turrican 2 (which I didn't posted here). Almost exactly 12 months later I started working on another Turrican Remix and today I present you the remix of one of my all time favourite game music tracks: Turrican's 2 Title Theme "The final Fight". (Original Track: https://chrishuelsbeck.bandcamp.com/track/the-final-fight-turrican-2) Like in my former Turrican Remixes, I wanted to capture the exact same mood and "style" of the original track. I made no changes to the composition, everything is basically just like the original except for the instruments and the sound quality. I wanted a remix that sounds like the original but just with modern "capabilities". Although I highly enjoyed Hülsbecks remixes featured in his Turrican Soundtrack Anthology, i didn't felt like it came from the Amiga for me and thats what i tried to archieve with my remix. I actually wanted to create a proper remix of this track for a long time and finally decided to do one. Although the track was quite exhausting to remix, i had a lot of fun with it and i'm quite happy how it turned out, it's definitively one of my favourite creations and is my personal tribute to one of the greatest composers of all time: Chris Hülsbeck. In case you're interested in my other Turrican Remixes, here's a link to my soundcloud Turrican Remix Album: https://soundcloud.com/crystan-seaage/sets/turrican-remix-album
  3. My main influences while working on this arrangement were John Digweed and Crystal Waters, as this is a House music mix. In particular, the texture and rhythm of the bass line is inspired by Digweed's instrumental, "Heaven Scent," while the organ segment is inspired by Waters' signature song, "Gypsy Woman." Song Title: "The Red Cyclone" (Zangief Theme Remix) Originally Composed By: Yoko Shimomura BPM: 131 Style: House Hardware: iMac Software: GarageBand, Audacity The Red Cyclone Source Material: Zangief Theme (CPS1)
  4. Hello everyone! It's been a while, hasn't it? This is sort of a calming/meditation/whatever remix that I am doing of the "Hope, Isolation, Pray" theme from Seiken Densetsu 3. I started this on a really long time ago, and I kinda got to a point where I was stuck and I eventually gave up on it in favor of some other projects. Today, I stumbled across it while looking for some other files, and I decided to give it another try now since I have better sounding samples and whatnot. This mix is meant to feel kinda airy and empty at first, and then build up slowly. I'm trying to decide where I should go with it, so it does cut off abruptly. Anyway, check it out and let me know what you think. Any feedback is helpful. Thanks
  5. Crazy idea I played with yesterday afternoon, I think the two tracks fit surprisingly well!
  6. Hi guys! About a year ago I submitted a Remix which got No'd with some constructive feedback. I went back into my DAW and fixed hopefully most of the complaints and critics. I hope someone is able to give me a review on the WIP and see what else needs fixing before I resubmit. Thanks a ton!
  7. A remix I made for the Pixel Mixers CV Tribute Album. Used the melody from CV2 Dracula's Castle theme and made a song. Complete with original lyrics!
  8. Hey everyone! I'm doing some finishing touches on a track that I've worked secretly on - it's a complex mash-up of every final battle song from the Final Fantasy series 4 - 9 (well, except for FF5's final boss, couldn't get it to work with the others for some reason...) - I definitely wanted to have y'all give it a listen before I go send it off to the panel! I was having a hard time blending all of the different orchestral & choral parts with my 8-bit style, but I think I got it down now. Give it a listen, tell me what you think! Quick note: I used the new OCR tool for mixing/mastering, I think it really helped bring this to fruition. I wish I had the old files for this, but I lost the original files for it while moving some of my hardware around, so whatev's. Hope y'all enjoy! Sources:
  9. What's up! I made a remix a few years ago. Decided to update it and upload it. Also made a custom visualizer!! Very proud of that one!! Though it's completed, I would still like some reviews if that's not a problem for you guys! Ps: everything I upload will go on youtube, mainly because that's where my channel is, but also because i make my own music visualizers!
  10. Hey all, check out this Half Life Metal Medley I made:
  11. Finally after years of working on this, I've released it to the public. Mega Man V was always my favorite of the Game Boy games and I always loved the music, so I had to do it justice with these covers. Get the album: https://rushjet1.bandcamp.com/album/mega-man-v-remade Watch the playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85NJxc_kPn4

  15. Hi gang, This is my first post here. I hope I'm doing this right. I used an old 1980's Roland Alpha Juno II and a Moog Little Phatty to recreate this classic track. Enjoy!

  18. Zup humans! Been working on a remix of the underground theme from yoshi's island for the past 5 days. Its a WIP and I feel like my ears have become numb from listening to it for 5 days straight and I really need to hear what other people think about the mix and the arrangement. Original My remix, latest version
  19. Hey everyone ! Here's my cover of Piranha Plant's Lullaby from Super Mario 64. Enjoy Original :
  20. I wanted to stay close to the original melody but create still a clearly new version, hope you guys enjoy it!
  21. Greetings, This is my interpretation of Trisection, one of the battle themes from Final Fantasy Tactics. Still obviously in the orchestral genre, but playing around with some different instrumentation, movement, reharmonization and the like. Also testing out an “adventure” template. My version: Original: Thank you for listening!
  22. Hey everybody, got a new arrangement here. This is an arrangement for full Orchestra, entitled "On the Sea, the Land and in the Sky", containing music from a few games in the Legend of Zelda Series. After a brief introduction, where some of the themes are introduced, the music starts off in grand fashion with The Great Sea from Wind Waker. Afterwards, there is a transition to a calmer, pastoral and serene collection of tunes from Hyrule Field from Ocarina of Time, before the music builds up and concludes with a big, powerful rendition of The Sky from Skyward Sword. Also made through Sibelius 7 and NotePerformer. Hopefully, the strings don't sound so artificial!!
  23. My current draft of my cover of Hateno Village's theme. I had heard the track an 8th note off from what I believe the intended rhythm is, and I kind of preferred it that way, so I made an arrangement based around that. Let me know what you think it needs! Original:
  24. Hi! I only got to play Undertale when it came to Nintendo Switch and I'm happy that I finally did. Amazing story and gameplay with some really memorable tunes. This one just stuck out as a song I really wanna cover, so here you go! I know there's like a million covers of this already, but with this one I really wanted to stuck to the original arragement as much as possible. Enough talk, have fun! Original songs:
