  1. Hi Here is my new remix of The Legend of Zelda (Synthwave Style) Good Listening https://youtu.be/sPGVdhmBzFU Original : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_U-_XfDGgDw
  2. A simple and relaxing remake of Kakariko Village from the Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time. I turned it into something like a waltz, and added a touch of Zelda's theme. Hope you enjoy it! -Juke
  3. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1qGNPmPzMfPGy2Wca5EoSDSAqfJoV2Po6 Hi all! I worked on this mix over the past day, and I've spent most of today editing it. 4. In developing as a musician, I'm trying to start doing new things - this includes longer practice times, broadening of repertoire, and of course, spending more time thinking about arranging. I've been reading an awful lot of sheet music lately, something I desperately need. Hopefully this arrangement (not yet done) reflects that in some way. This song seemed like an obvious choice for a jazz rendition considering it's already structured around fourths and seventh chords. I'm not sure if I will get this recorded live, but it is possible. It would be really nice. Let me know of any feedback! Still early in production, will be a while before I finish it, as there are some more pressing projects to work on. 5. Hey all, I made a simple remake of one of my favorite tracks from Skyward Sword. I added Zelda's lullaby to the tune since it fit so well in my opinion. Hope you enjoy it! -Juke
  6. Hey guys! I just recently finished up this little solo piano arrangement of Song of Healing from Majora's Mask and thought I would share it with you all. I realize this is an insanely popular piece for people to remix/cover, but it's such a special piece, but I think the tune is so malleable and it was fun to try and do something different with it. I originally had made something far more virtuosic and flashy but it didn't fit the intimate feel of the original. I instead opted for something more subdued and "pretty". I added a little intro and outro based on some of the original harmonic material and I think it works as a nice framing device for the piece. At first I keep the tune fairly traditional, but ended up gradually adding some of my own personal flourishes throughout. Hope you guys enjoy it. Let me know what you think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3NexJ5G1dg
  7. Hi OCRemix! I was gathering samples used in Ocarina of Time to build perfect remake of the Shadow Temple theme. I found out the Fire Temples chanting sample is used there. It's played so low (and as a three chord) so it's not recognizable. I know it's nothing special but just wanted to share this out. I was only trying to get the original drums from the song for remixing purposes but got so excited for finding this. Here's the original Fire Temple theme for those who don't know about the chanting.
  8. First off I just want to say thanks to some of OCR's finest musicians for being an inspiration. I occasionally jump on and off of FL Studio, I hit a wall stopping in a lot of projects and don't even bother sharing them. After listening to Zircon, Sixto Sounds, Willrock, and many others I told myself I'll eventually have something somewhat decent. Well anyways here is what I have so far, I have a few things I know have to really work on, the synth at the later half of the song and changing the outro. Please share what you think and tell me whats good so far or anything that comes to mind. Thanks for listening!
  9. The Legend of Zelda - Link To The Past - Sanctuary - SNES - Pixelizer REMIX https://youtu.be/Ac_CAkLW01U Original https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8Wh_T0mchY Thank's for your opinion !
  10. My remix and remake of 'Lurelin Village', from the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. While this game didn't have as many memorable music pieces as other Zelda games, it definitely had a few that stuck out to me, and this is one of them. The second time around, I added in some themes from Kokiri Forest, as well as Zelda and Aryll. Hope you can relax and enjoy! Ambience from CosyClothes: www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7J_pYhCK04 -Juke
  11. Here's a remix I am working on of the Kokiri Forest theme from Ocarina of Time. I just had an itching for some latin music. I know the arrangement is quite liberal, but I think it flows well enough. Enjoy the mix! ReMix Edit #1: "Hey Saria, There's a Fiesta Down in Kokiri Forest" ReMix Edit #2: "Hey Saria, There's a Fiesta Down in Kokiri Forest 2.0" Remix Edit #3 (MOST RECENT): "Hey Saria, There's a Fiesta Down in Kokiri Forest" Final Bounce???: "Hey Saria, There's a Fiesta Down in Kokiri Forest (Final)" Source Tune: Pleased to say I'm working with @Bowlerhat for some live flute on this track! Gonna be great.
  12. Hello Everyone ! "The Great Video Game Orchestra" is an album of remaster music of my favorite video games. I have been working on it for about a year. I hope you like it ! https://remygouxproduction.bandcamp.com/album/the-great-video-game-orchestra-vol-1
  13. My remake of Hateno Village from Zelda: Breath of the Wild, with just a touch of Kakariko Village and Zelda's Theme added in.
  14. Hey everyone. I recently completed work on a short medley from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening centering around Mabe Village, Inside the Houses and Richard's VIlla. This game has always been near and dear to my heart, so I wanted to put my own take on some of my favorite tunes from the game. I'm using this video as the starting point for a 3 part series of medley arrangements featuring music from Link's Awakening. Hope you guys enjoy this and have a wonderful weekend.
  15. All, I've recently made a remake of Ocarina of Time's 'Lon Lon Ranch', trying to recreate it with same style as the Symphonic Version made from Nintendo and the Reorchestrated version from ZREO. Here's the 'no vocals' version if anyone out there wanted to hum/sing along. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1pSrI3_gWl80Au0F_OgCK3MA57wULWY6v If anyone out there is interested in actually recording yourself, please feel free and let me know if you want me to make some changes (quieter parts, different instrumentation, etc). I've already uploaded my version, so this is really just to see if someone out there wants to use my backgrounds and sing their own version. Here's mine with [fake] vocals, for comparison: I've taken out the unique ZREO section (around 1:38 onward) for the no vocals version, but can easily add it back if desired. It's currently un-mastered, but I figured I might as well share here first and see if anyone in interested before mastering it with the fake voice. Thanks, -Juke
  16. I started a remix of the Minish Village in a bluesier form. A little liberal in comparison to the original. Source: ReMix: Somebody Stole My Jabber Nuts
  17. Hey there, decided to finally make a song for OCR after thinking about it for 17 years. It's a linear track and many of the frequencies are quite extreme, for maximum tension-building. It has a piano run through a guitar amp to add a bit of volatility to its character, and other than the little flourish from 1:45 - 1:47, every note is sourced from several different Zelda melodies, with the Great Bay Temple being the most prominent chord-wise (and obviously percussion-wise). As the song goes on, it's meant to put the listener in that psychological space many people find themselves in at least once in their lives, when you're swimming underwater and suddenly everything goes from uncomfortable to desperate. Maybe I've over-explained myself, but let me know what you think, if you care to. Here's the OG. Here's mine. https://drive.google.com/open?id=18DPdGUQSrXCZcUZ0ZV8eLJe9zYISha7H My one concern is that the panning on the gated high frequencies is too extreme, or perhaps too loud on certain speakers, especially after the song quality is degraded on something like YouTube. Thoughts?
  18. Tarrey Town was my favorite track in Breath of the Wild; I loved how it mixed in themes from other places in the game as you built it up. I tried to remake the start variant and full variant in the beginning, keeping close to the original, and then expand on it with themes from other places in the Zelda series as well. So imagine Tarrey Town in the Zelda Universe now, I guess. Extra themes in order of appearance: OoT Kokiri Forest OoT Lon Lon Ranch OoT Castle Market OoT Kakariko Village OoT Gerudo (The plucked instrument) OoT Goron City WW Dragon Roost WW Outset Island MM Astral Observatory MM Clocktown SS Skyloft Zelda Theme These were just some of my favorite places in the Zelda series and I thought that I could mix them in well enough. Please let me know what you think! Maybe which ones mixed in well, not so well, or other themes that might fit in their too! I plan on submitting this to OCRemix, if a judge could help me out and let me know if they would accept it. Thanks! Original:
  19. Hey everyone! I hope this is the right place to post this I just finished a long Zelda mix, including 5 remixes that I've done, and several beats from other artists that you may not have even heard of I think it turned out great, and I put a ton of work into the video too, as this is the first one I've done for multiple songs. Video was 100% done in FL Studio using ZGameEditor Visualizer plugin. Without further ado, I present "The Hero of Hyrule," a 40min Lo-fi, Trap, and Chillout mix ::TRACKLIST:: 00:00 - andre.Wav - Press Start 03:21 - FUSION42 - A Forgotten Lullaby 06:37 - Polaster - Bamboo Island (Lofi Remix) 08:56 - FUSION42 - Door of Time 10:57 - CheeseCakeBeats - Gerudo Valley 13:42 - FUSION42 - Mabe Chillage 16:58 - Phi Dao - Mipha 22:18 - Oskar Nyström (Tiny Drum) - Tarrey Town 24:08 - Smoove Beats - Valley 27:53 - FUSION42 - Windmill Lounge 31:21 - Patriice - Zelda's Joint [Lo-fi/Future Mix] 34:31 - Doc Infinity x mowgli - links loops 37:27 - FUSION42 - Final Hours I'm planning another mix like this also, although it will be open to lo-fi and chill remixes from any series, hit me up if you want to get featured. I'm also happy to answer any questions anyone here has as well. Thanks for listening and I hope this brightens up your day!
  20. Hey everybody, got a new arrangement here. This is an arrangement for full Orchestra, entitled "On the Sea, the Land and in the Sky", containing music from a few games in the Legend of Zelda Series. After a brief introduction, where some of the themes are introduced, the music starts off in grand fashion with The Great Sea from Wind Waker. Afterwards, there is a transition to a calmer, pastoral and serene collection of tunes from Hyrule Field from Ocarina of Time, before the music builds up and concludes with a big, powerful rendition of The Sky from Skyward Sword. Also made through Sibelius 7 and NotePerformer. Hopefully, the strings don't sound so artificial!!
  21. I realize that I posted a different track earlier, but I just finished this one today and I feel that it's probably a better suit for Overclocked Remix. I used themes from Lon Lon Ranch and Kakariko Village; this was partly inspired by the tavern in Link Between Worlds, where the musicians there would play themes from different area's/games. This idea for this piece is that you walk into a tavern playing the Lumpy Pumpkin Theme, but the players also mix in elements from other games as well. If this site has a rule against Soundscape elements (ie, tavern background, beginning and end), please let me know; it's too easy to remove it. Enjoy, and let me know if it has potential to be submitted here! Original: -Juke
  22. https://drive.google.com/open?id=12mtnX-lrSZLQ-3hDcrKPIsJM9-4AXW1a Well, I got my mic to work. Recorded in mono, messed up a lot, but hey, those pedal are hard to maneuver with your feet. Feel free to request other songs/give your opinion on this one. I shall try to record myself playing piano on my huge 8 octave keyboard soon.
  23. https://drive.google.com/file/d/10kfzmuJDH219sAaJClFQAJbfra_pOSLz/view?usp=sharing Hey everyone! This is my first time posting here and my second attempt at remixing so I'm looking for some feedback. This song, the Lanayru Harbor music from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, may seem like a weird choice but the song always stuck out to me. One day it dawned on me that smashing the song Augusta, GA by Into It. Over It. and the Lanayru Harbor song together might yield something cool. Well, this rock remix is what came out of it. I'm particularly looking for feedback on the mix since that is something I've never been good at. Also, the song is pretty short, but both of the source songs are pretty short and I couldn't come up with anything to add length that didn't sound forced. Thanks!
  24. Hi, I'm really inspired by the many talented individuals of this community. I'm going to start sharing my work. Just drawings I've done for fun, or maybe local contests...actually only one contest. Hopefully I can figure out how to upload the files. I was afraid of this. I don't know how to upload attachments. Anyone who can help? http://fav.me/dbx9f0z So, I have a link to a drawing I uploaded to my newly created deviant art page. This drawing was for a submissio to the Graphic novel contest for san jose public library in California. I used it for the cover, with some lettering for title. I used a pencil, just a yellow number 2, and then a few gray tone Copic markers to provide contour and tone. No color allowed. I think I used a Copic liner pen for the inking. A bit of white paint for highlights in eye. You can probably see my mistake, whereI misplaced/forgot to place my mole on correct side of face. Using my face was the easiestway to get a cover illustration done, because the interior pages were so time consuming, and it was a last minute project. I'm very much into procrastinating. Hi. I wanted to say that I will be scanning some more of my drawings and what not pretty soon. I just wanted you all to know that my ugly face isn't the only thing I have to show off. ...heh heh heh. I will get the short story I did for the 2012 SJPL graphic novel contest up on this post. I actually placed 3rd for that one, and that was literally done the night before. I worked on that thing until about 5 in the morning, then had to get to work the same morning at my crappy job at Safeway. Ugh. But, honestly, the endorphins or whatever that were released from the creative process kept me going all day! So, I think by Saturday January 30, I should have quite a few more pages up. Please, feel free to leave comments. Even if you want to just troll. I don't mind. I know my own personal worth, I'm on my own journey. Thanks. Hi. I found a drawing of Klay Thompson I did about a year ago. Photo was online, and I was feeling like "i need to force myself to draw" at that point in time. Kinda like how I feel now. This was just pencil on some sketch pad, maybe regular copy paper? Just something quick, for exercise. I would really appreciate if anyone that views this post would let me know if these links and images are actually viewable to you. Thanks
