Castle
Only 3 songs from F-Zero GX??! And they're not nearly the best ones either... and they didn't even use the Port Town song, even though there's a Port Town stage FROM F-ZERO GX... =/I guess all those amazing F-Zero character themes aren't exactly "fighting" songs though. And, taking the best songs from GX's incredible soundtrack would seem a little... "selfish" of Brawl =P I own the game (F-Zero GX) and somehow I've never listened to Captain Falcon's theme (which is AMAZING) until just now. Now I'm off to listen to Dr. Stewart's theme for the billionth time =D I'm kinda battling myself on this. On one hand, I absolutely love Casino Palace and Aeropolis. On the other hand, Port Town would've worked just as well as Aeropolis (they're both laid back). As for not using the character themes, I can't really come up with an explanation as there's two for the Wario stage. Also, I really wish they had used "Challenge of the Bloody Chain", but since it's a Big Blue remix it probably couldn't be used due to the Big Blue stage. Hum4n After All
I read everybody's replies about how good the soundtrack is and when you all say its good I do believe you, but having listened/listening to it.......!!!!!!!! Fuck me to tears it is fantastic! Too bad I don't know exactly what I'm listening to.

And they're not nearly the best ones either... and they didn't even use the Port Town song, even though there's a Port Town stage FROM F-ZERO GX... =/ I, for one, love Brain Cleaner. What a great fighting song! Shotgun Kiss is also well suited to Brawl IMHO, though I imagine Green Plant to be less so. (NOTE: I've not heard the Brawl tracks, just the OST versions). However, I'm a huge fan of the GX soundtrack, and I would have prefered if the X to GX split had been more even. The only possible complaint I can bring against this godsend of a soundtrack would be the absense of the Kraid theme from the original Metroid. Unless, of course, I missed it in the list. Granted, with so many other spectacular tracks, and Metroid tracks specifically, I'm sure I won't lament the loss too much in the end if it turns out I'm right. Er...wait. One of the two Brinstar themes from Melee may cover just that. It's now likely this post is almost entirely moot, and no, I can't give you that minute back. Sorry. Kiyosuki
Wow check out how much Zelda's Din's Fire was improved in this. Oh and the full soundtrack to this game is unbelievable. Even if I have all the tracks already on my computer if an official OST comes out I'll definitely buy it too. I'm just a little dissapointed in the Sonic songs though, since only Angel's Island got rearrange treatment. Rest is original Genesis rips and the vocal songs (including that hilarious IN THIS WOOOORLD song. lol) Sonic music is just some of the catchiest old tunes put into a video game, it's a shame greats like Green Hill Zone or Flying Battery didn't get a remix. Even Metal Gear got three really really cool rearranges.

Used the meta given few pages ago, and it works, and it's really fast ^^ EDIT : http://www.mybittorrent.com/info/1225350/ (used the 2nd one) EDIT 2 : Wow, Zelda is really strong with the new Din's Fire /!\ Oh, please, Atma or anyone else who has played multiplayer, I've read (Remod, Gfaqs, etc...) that the game is slower than Melee and it can be disappointing for people who are used to SSBM. Is it that true ?
Darklink42
Rant containing spoilers: You know, maybe I'm a little slow but I'm surprised to see Wolf in there. I mean, I'd heard some rumor that he'd be featured, but I was very surprised to find him confirmed. I never much cared for Falco, and that's because I'm a Fox player myself. Between his being heavier and slower than Fox and his only having the advantage of a stronger laser, Fox's weaker but considerably faster attacks made him my choice. And now we've got Wolf for all the whiners who bitched that they wanted to play as Fox but couldn't handle the speed. Several of my friends swear by Falco over Fox and this is only going to make things worse. The grudge matches will truly be epic I think. Other than that, I have great hopes that this game will blow me away. I fully plan to buy a Wii just for this game. (Don't ask why I haven't already >_>)
Scufo
Awesome to see Zelda's been de-nerfed. She's always been my main, despite her low-tier status. Din's Fire really looks awesome now. I've heard Nayru's Love now makes her temporarily invincible, too. This game is really testing my patience. I've never anticipated a game to a level even close to this one. And the huge wealth of videos out there certainly doesn't help.
Tables
I've read (Remod, Gfaqs, etc...) that the game is slower than Melee and it can be disappointing for people who are used to SSBM. Is it that true ? I've read other things, and while the game does appear to be slower then Melee, it isn't a really dramatic change, and you get used to it quickly. However, most people can't seem to go back to Melee after they play Brawl and be comfortable. That's just what I heard though, I could be wrong
MechaFone
Limewire came through for me after all. I got all the songs with the names as they were on smashboards, and that's all right. Anyway. HOLY MOTHER BRAIN'S JIVE SPEECH DISFUNCTIONALITY. I don't care if there are rips straight from the games. I like those songs. And the remixed songs, flawless from beginning to end. I love it all, I'm listening to it as we speak. I'm on Samus's first song. Awesome, and the radio-drama intro made me grin. It's almost like two games in one for me. Soundtracks are everything, and for a game as epic as Brawl, the soundtrack does it justice. Incredible, delectable, wonderful.

(Don't ask why I haven't already >_>) From what I can understand: Wolf is not really a clone to the degree that Falco is a clone of Fox. His entire play style is vastly different, with pretty much the only similarities remaining being he has a blaster and his Final Smash is the Landmaster. So while I was disappointed that they didn't come up with a new, more interesting character in favor of keeping Falco, Wolf is certainly more welcome as an addition. However, most people can't seem to go back to Melee after they play Brawl and be comfortable. That's just what I heard though, I could be wrong Watching the brawl videos I'm not sure if the game looks slower, or if everything just has a more uh...floaty feel to it? It seems just as fast and faster in some ways, but slower in others. I can't really place my finger on it I guess it's hard to judge watching compared to playing, I know it's like that with some speed based games I play, everything seems slower when I'm playing but rather fast if I'm just passively watching. Also for some reason seeing wolfs taunts and movement style made me feel really excited to try to play as him, I like fox and falco as characters but could never get accustomed to their play style. Maybe that'll be different with wolf though
atmuh
The game is in fact considerably slower than melee. Movement in the air is what is really different. You don't have your fastfallers like fox/falco from melee. Now I loved melee, and do I think this is a bad thing? No way. It takes getting used to, but once you do it works just fine. Anyone who is ranting or complaining about anything in this game (other than bad online play, which is in fact bad) is a complete idiot. Also I almost exploded today when I unlocked what I consider to be the best and ONLY song from star fox a smash game should ever need, but has never been in one THE ORIGINAL CORNERIA I AM SO HAPPY and I have also just begun subspace its a blast more on that later
