EdgeCrusher
Sure, that's a good reason not to use something. That's INJIN for you. Trying to be all "fight the system".
The Mutericator
Sure, that's a good reason not to use something. That wasn't his argument. Honestly, I agree with him - that comic did start to grate on my nerves by the time I stopped reading.
Jarvi
Well, I was gonna try Chrome, but apparently I can't because I'm only 17, lawls.
Gollgagh
Well, I was gonna try Chrome, but apparently I can't because I'm only 17, lawls. Actually, in the U.S., no one under 18 can enter into any kind of contract. Technically speaking that means a 15 year old clicking "I accept" on a EULA means nothing, legally. so says zircon
Sir_NutS
I have been trying it today and some of the features are really nice, plus it is VERY lightweight, I love how speedy it is. After getting used to slow, heavy browsers over the years, this is a nice change. Still needs some tweaks, like an easy way to change the default search engine like firefox does. But as of now I can see myself using firefox way less everyday.
Drack
The contract says that you can't use the software if you can't accept the contract. If what zircon says is true, that clause would indeed mean nothing. Looks like a chicken and egg problem to me, but I'm no lawyer.
Palpable
The amount of webpage real estate was actually starting to unnerve me. Like if you suddenly got a few extra degrees of peripheral vision. Something to get used to. So far, it seems slightly faster than FF, but animated gifs in people's sigs really slow it down. It seems like it struggles with rendering them. Hmm.
FlagshipAmadeus
Using it right now and it seems pretty good all around so far
OceansAndrew
to change the default search engine, right click on your URL box and select "edit search engines".
FlagshipAmadeus
Actually now I'm back to Firefox because the page load time is marginally faster with Chrome and there doesn't seem to be any adblock functionality nor does my news ticker thing work with Chrome

Atomic Dog
Google can practically do no wrong. Except for the fact that they're communists. Truth.
SynthesizedStampede
Yeah, trying Chrome right now as my default too. The only drawback that I'm getting from Chrome opposed to Firefox is that YouTube videos are incredibly less responsive. When I pause a movie, it takes a while for the vid to actually pause, and a nother two-three second wait in order to actually click another link or even press the "back" button. The significantly lower CPU usage is nicel though.
Nohbody
Noob question here but is it possible to entirely delete Internet Explorer? Its not giving me problems but I consider its existence a waste in every form and really I just want it gone out of spite,

Malaki-LEGEND.sys
I'm actually having no real problem with Chrome thus far, and I like it. The interface takes some getting used to, but I like the changes they made here and there.

Its not giving me problems but I consider its existence a waste in every form and really I just want it gone out of spite, Why on Earth would you spite IE? It's the best browser out there. Trust in Gates man. He never leads you wrong. I am not being sarcastic. <3 Microsoft.
Hector
I'm pretty sure it's integrated with your operating system. You could delete it most certainly, but you might want to look into alternative operating systems first. Otherwise, no need to be spiteful. Windows explorer works, that's the most important factor. Its main disadvantage is simply that it is the dominant platform and therefore companies and hackers make their stuff with it in mind. If Firefox ever surpasses Windows Explorer as #1 browser, I'll probably switch back to Explorer or over to Chrome.

Yeah, I read their yuppie comic and it made it sound pretty impressive, but honestly I'd like the hype to die down a little before I go adding yet another app.
dish
Okay I just had a "HOLY SNAP" moment...Resizable textboxes. Hey, thanks for that More precisely, resizing seems to work only for "textarea". An exception I found so far is Gmail's compose text box. The "To" text box is resizable; but not the text box to type the email body.
