Barnsalot
Loved it when Summoning of the Spirits first came out, and I'm still loving it now that it's been posted on OCR. Keep up the good work!
realdeal_55
Rock on! This is fantastic. : D Sounds very much like Wanderer on the Offensive, which is one of my all-time faves. The only thing I'd say is get the live strings in there. The synth feels too, well, synth-y. : P Otherwise, great stuff! : D
TheKrow
Epic rock as always from Sixto. Every strum of his guitar makes me cry tears of joy. Also, this song kinda reminded me of Mega Man X games with that prominent lead synth.
KyleJCrb
Juan's so modest: He didn't mention that he turned this one around in less than 3 days, almost as fast as he got me the Fighting of the Spirit remix. This guy's crazy! This track was actually pretty much an entirely unplanned, last minute deal (it was the very last song finished for the project, in fact. It was also the last one started for it too, hehe). Nutritious and Joker had been frequenting the forums and knew about the plan for bonus tracks, so they had already cranked their two remixes out. The project was done after that and we had planned releasing with just those two, but Juan randomly came to me on IRC and asked if we needed more tracks, so I tossed him a few of the original DotNW songs for ideas. He picked up on this one real quick, and the rest as they say, is history.
Mirby
This is an epic track. Par for the course, maybe even a birdie or eagle, for Sixto as far as I'm concerned. Screw it, he gets an albatross for the tracks from SoS. (That's 3 under par, look it up) This one for sure. And, to be honest, I just stuck this track, and the other two, onto disc 4 of the album in iTunes when I downloaded it. Regardless, great track as usual. And the amount of time this track was finished in? I expect nothing less after hearing the rest of Sixto's work. He's got it down to a science! He gets a doctorate in epicity! Onlygarvalwyn
This is Tales of Symphonia: The Fast and the Furious. This remix is awesome, and I don't often say that about mixes with so much heavy guitar. It get's the blood pumping if you know what I mean. I absolutely love the violin thrown in there as well. Great work, can't wait to hear more from you!
yosefu
My god its about time this song is up on the site. this was my most favourite song the album. The guitars are just so catchy. Great Job!!!
metalsnakejuice
This is still my favorite track on the tales of summing album. You never let us down Sixto Sounds. Great work.
LuigiFan
I'd like to officially say (because I'm not sure if I've said it before, and if I haven't, I'm sorry) that Sixto Sounds is my favorite ReMixer on this site. I love every single track that has come from him - he never fails to amaze me with just how awesome the songs are. Go the Distance is no exception. Keep it up, man, the stuff you do is an inspiration. (It's not even my favorite genre, and I still love this guy.)
Rozovian
This was one of my favorites from the album (and one I've confused with Just Go on more than one occasion). I find myself trying to play it on guitar sometimes... and fail. This is the kind of rock I enjoy. Great energy, great guitar, great source, great synth work, great... pwnsome stuff. jintoreedwine
I've been listening to this song for a while now and it's a really enjoyable listen. This song has the kind of awesome guitar work that I have come to know and love from Sixto Sounds. Another finely crafted mix! Keep the fabulous mixes coming . Sir_Downunder
It's awesome, it's Sixto, and it's shred-tastic.
OceansAndrew
Another pro-level Sixto rock track? Color me surprised. I love the source on this one, and it's one of my favorite tracks on the SoS project. The three different lead sounds keeps things really fresh, and the solo section was excellent. Drums were powerful and tight, and everything clicked super well. \m/
NDN_Shadow
I love the string and guitar work. This is waay better than the original in my opinion.
ChaosPlayer
As far as rock n roll goes, this is litterally the shiznet battle song I have ever enjoyed. I might actually consider this for my youtube video for battle music. A+ Must listen to all or anyone.
Sinewav
I'm a sucker for rock with violin solos. This is no exception. The stereo back and forth at the beginning was a very nice touch as well. I really need to go to bed, but I just can't stop listening to this.
Flexstyle
This has gotta be one of my favorite Sixto mixes, as well as one of my favorite rock tracks on the entire site! Top-notch work!
Bip
If I were wearing pants, the violins in this track would make them happy. Yeah, I said it. The intro's got that ...I don't know how to describe it. Japanese influence, I guess. And it just kicks right into the heavy stuff I've come to expect from this remixer. No complaints, except from the downstairs neighbor when I cranked it to 11 and maxed the bass box on my second listen.
Pachi Risu
Great remix. More like this please.
