Dyne
I fully support this effort. I'm posting it where it can be seen by all, both on my own Facebook account as well as ThaSauce Network's fan page, which you can find here: http://www.facebook.com/thasauce.net?ref=mf Honestly, with the kind of talent that's right here on OCR and throughout the community, I don't see any reason that it shouldn't be tapped more often. I think it's a testament to the fact that video game music is not just the ambient beats behind the games themselves, but also its own unique genre composed of all types of music, whether it's country, rock, metal, blues, r&b and everything in between. Sindra
If the snowstorm coming iup the east coast ends up sending me home early from work....consider me working on some graphics for this. Even if it ends up being a silly nonsense thing. I want in on this.

q-pa
this. All of my dreams would come true. There's a song in there somewhere But this is all I could remember. Take their words to heart, all of you!
DarkeSword
has djp contacted Sega regarding this? Well, no. This campaign is mainly for fun. To be honest, the only thing we're really trying to to is get noticed and generate interest so that maybe Sega will take notice and say "ha! these guys are pretty good! and they got balls!". It's a fun way to make people aware of OCR and Sonic music. The chances of us actually doing the music for Sonic 4 Episode 1 are slim-to-none, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun drumming up support. Nabeel Ansari
It would be cool if this actually happened and then someone got up and made a Sonic 4 remix project. It's OCRemixes of OCRiginals. 0_0
Xenon Odyssey
The chances of us actually doing the music for Sonic 4 Episode 1 are slim-to-none So that means we're gathering support now so we can do later episodes? Seems like something to think about, judging on how much attention this gathers. Also, don't believe the lies; OverLooked totally did that track. We just pulled a Michael Jackson and didn't put our names on it

The Author
Well, like I said before, Sega should redo Sonic 1 using that nifty new engine. This is where OCR could step in. And maybe they will release OCR alternate tracks for the episodes, DLC is big now.

Kadosho
Read the recent newsletter, shared the linkage via Twitter. Now this is a sweet project idea, as ambitious as OCR has been over the years. I have faith
Devyn
I joined on facebook. God, if anybody could capture the essence of Sonic, it's you guys (I'd call Virt too, he did some wicked stuff on Contra 4, and it sounded just like Contra should). Gec
Yeah, I would totally want in on this. I have an original tune I composed, which would fit perfectly with a Sonic game. Here's the song I had in mind. http://www.tindeck.com/listen/ovbz If someone wants to collaborate with me to fine tune this song, please PM me. SoloGamer
Isn't that more like Sega pulling a Sega? MJ pulled his name because of the low quality of the music likewise, OLR pulled its name from the project due to a disagreement with sega over the use of kazoos. Oh, I thought Sega pulled his name out because of the scandal (not aware of what happened first, Sonic 3 or the scandal) Anyways, I'd totally wanna participate on this project (if it ever actually happened)

darkmaster987
I had no idea OCRemix had been involved in Street Fighter, or that virt had done music for Contra 4. Wow, and all this coming from a community that has its roots in the bane of the Video Game industry; emulation.
