OC ReMix Reveals FULL 2011 Album Lineup!

April 1, 2011

Contact: press@ocremix.org

FAIRFAX, VA--Hot on the heels of their 24th album release, Mega Man: The Robot Museum, video game arrangement site OverClocked ReMix is announcing a full 2011 album lineup that will bring over 20 new albums to the VGM loving masses.

"Our album projects are really the backbone of OverClocked ReMix, and really get our name out there," said David Lloyd, OC ReMix's founder. "Sure, we've got over 2000 individual remixes, but when an album like Heroes vs. Villains drops, people just can't seem to get enough. So we've decided to renew our efforts, double-down, and really make albums a priority."

OC ReMix's new album initiative introduces dozens of new projects into the community, and artists and fans alike are invited to contribute. A full list of new projects follows this press release.

Of course not. I'm sure they'll all be free.

Not really, the licensing fees for some of the games, like E.T. and all the Game Over tunes, have forced us to start charging a premium for some of them. We'll have to open our own digital store at some point.

the 'platinium' template account is still around anyway. i'm sure Dave is ready to switch to that whenever it's needed.

No, like all our previous projects, they'll be free to download.

The Monopoly album will not be free.

*Braces for flak*

This might be a sign of the apocalypse... my computer might overload from the amount of torrenting I'd have to do on break...

Why would you put them all out in one year?!?

And theyre not all great soundtracks...

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Also, quiet, I'm looking forward to the Altered Beast one, so don't discourage peeps.

Oregon Trail: You Have Died of Dysentery

It's about damn time OT got some love!

I haven't been this excited about an OCR project since Uematsu himself started making mixes of his own work!
