I-n-j-i-n
Nintendo's DS games have been great, but musically, they have been lacking IMO. Two words: Sonic Rush I agree, except that's a Sega game. I was talking about the musical efforts in Nintendo's games as of late. They seemingly don't even know how to remix old tunes right. But I think it all makes sense since Nintendo is seemingly using new composing talent. Though I think I'm giving them too much credit for calling them 'talents'. Smoke
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6405445518216376043&q=dsMan, this guy is either one hell of a dead-pan actor, or he's some sort of freaky PSP fanboy. And his info is off. $300 for a DS? The same hardware as the Gameboy Color? The hell? It's clearly intended just to get a rise out of all the fanboys out there who can't see that he's not serious. Vyse the Three Eyes
While I agree that the music isn't anything that great or memorable, I don't see how you can call it 'shit'. I mean, I've heard a lot of shit soundtracks, and this is pretty decent. At least it fits the areas it plays with.
Bigfoot
I actually like the music in the new mario bros. I mean, it's not anything amazing, but it's enjoyable.
KakTheInfected
I like the music, a lot. Been whistling that overworld theme for days. The jumping Goombas and other enemies is a nice touch.
Bummer
The new Pokémon game looks promising, I like how they've changed the angle so that it looks more 3-dimensional.
The Damned
From the more recent, clearer screenshots that have surfaced, it would seem that both the background/terrain AND the characters are 3D. Too bad the battles are still 2D and kind of bland. Here's hoping they d something with the story to make it more interesting. Oh yay, Team "Insert Word Here" is trying to capture your pokemon/start a fire/take over the town/make long-distance calls on your phone! Awesome! Sir_NutS
I dunno if this has been mentioned before, but isn't the new DS lite marketing campaign the gayest thing to ever happen to the videogame industry? http://ukresistance.co.uk/ specifically: http://www.ukresistance.co.uk/2006/05/nintendos-ds-has-just-got-bit-gayer.html Christ, Nintendo what the hell are you thinking? The Damned
Different countries get different advertising campainges. In Canada, we got the "Touch/Don't Touch" stuff, while the US got the "It's Good To Touch" stuff. So maybe this is just the UK one. And why not market a video game system to homosexuals? Their money is just as money as the next. Or are you some sort of anti-fag fag that hates fags? Hmmm? Are you?

LiquidGlass
I wouldn't say gay. I'd say amazingly boring. "Lets get dressed up and play our new DS's but not actually enjoy them because we're too cool."

The Damned
Fucking Europeans get the black one. Why is it that Japan gets eighteen million colors, but the rest of the world is subjected to only a few?
Probescus
Because Japan likes to feel special. Also, they want to release the colors as they lower the price (I.E. "The new yellow DS! Only $179.99!" or something like that).
