Phpbb is out, and vb is in! With the change comes new things for us to get used to, as well as things we will have to get used to now being gone. Positive or negative *hopefully not too negative*, what are your opinions on the switch?

Everything looks much cleaner, but a little cluttered. It's not necessarily better or worse yet, so it'll just take some getting used-to. I'm sure I will learn to love it.

Mmm threaded view ftw.

Plus with threaded view I don't have to enable quickreply for each post.

Course it also means I have to click each post that I want to read. Oh well. That in and of itself might be a good safety feature too .

Another nice thing about threaded view is that it includes a preview of each post, so I can tell if someone's reply is an imagebomb and simply skip it.

Yeah, there are going to be a few more visual changes. Dave said he's gonna switch the thread icons eventually, because at the moment they're a little difficult to distinguish. (Maybe we'll get back our old smilies, too!) There are a lot of customizable options, but at the moment, we're focusing on security and functionality.

Lots of cool new features so far! Check out your user profiles: buddy/ignore lists, longer sigs, more avatars, thread subscriptions, event reminders... This stuff kicks booty! XD

Yup. You just have to do it manually as opposed to the "quote message in reply" in quick-edit, AFAIK.
