WesPip
Nice, I definitely see the Kid Koala influence here. So what do you get when you cross a koala with a marshmallow? I'm not sure, but it's awesome.
Liontamer
Such a unique piece around here. Really glad to have it on board. Do like I do. Loop it.
avaris
This songs kick ass...seriously. FX, drums, overall ambience and blending of different elements is FTW. Congrats dude been waiting to see this on here for awhile.
about:blank
I loved this ever since I first heard it in the WIP forums. I love the voice samples used in this, I mean, none of them fit into the context of the game, but that didn't stop them from sounding totally rad. This is pretty liberal, but as someone who wasted their childhood renting this game over and over for countless months, I didn't really have any trouble recognizing the source, and I can definitely appreciate the interpretation. Moo2u
I'm a HUGE Kid Koala fan, so naturally I love this track. Those who haven't checked out Kid Koala, I urge you to do so. He mixes in some of the most random content I've heard into some of his tracks.
Dhsu
Really glad you decided to resub this, Skrypnyk (mostly so I could finally hear the completed track ). A fine piece of work you got here.
Monobrow
this sounds like silent hill, this is a good thing good dude
anosou
Skrypnyk certainly knows what he's doing and in the same time he's bringing some originality to OCR. Great use of something that sounds like a pretty generic hip-hop loop, soft synths that are pleasing to the ear and some funky sampling. It doesn't really matter that it's not changing that much as the song goes, it's interesting enough already. Awesome.
Radiowar
an excellent remix of midnight in a perfect world lolllllll been waiting for this to be posted for awhile now, great song
OceansAndrew
I gotta say i'm not digging the vocal samples themselves, but the atmosphere and beats are so compelling that i'm not sure what to think. The melancholy of the epiano is soul-crushingly sad. I'm not sure of the statement the track makes; perhaps the need for absurdity and randomness in all emotions, or maybe I am just reading too much into it. Regardless, the treatment of the samples is fantastic. I gotta say though hearing the line "At times like this I wish I had a penis" followed by a heart-wrenching melody is oddly fitting. Palpable
I'm not familiar with Kid Koala, but the song is pretty much a dead ringer for DJ Shadow. It's a great appropriation of that sound. Very haunting and pretty, yet still fun to listen to because of all the messing with the beat. There's so much variety in the production tricks. Awesome song, man. Kutrayn
Certainly not what I expected to hear when I read the source material as "Sad Song" but I like it nonetheless. Finally something a little less linear with this song. It's the innovative remixes on this site that drew me to it, and it's that same that keep me near. xamgis
Hypnotizing. That about sums it up for me. Once I started listening I felt compelled to listen to the rest of it. Nicely done.
SwordBreaker
Man, this rocks. First "Leafcutter" and now this. Two VERY unique Super Mario RPG remixes. What more could I want? Anyway, I remember digging the WIP version...glad this was put in OCR. The voices were weird at first, but then they started sounding addictive after my 2nd and 3rd listens. I do agree with Larry about that "quiet" part mid-point of the song...would've been cool if more voices or a variation of that haunting Piano in there. Excellent job, man. Can't wait for more stuff from you.
cobaltstarfire
I like this song, although the changes in rhythm make it really hard to pick out the source tune, I am getting a feeling of it in there somewhere...vaguely.
Dunnowhathuh
It's one of those songs I can't help but head bop to, love the beat. And for some reason I also love the voice clip that goes "I mention I don't like heights?"
oakthielbar
FINALLY! This is what OCR has needed for quite a while. This may be the best remix on the site - and if it's not, it's definitely up there.

Nateconq
This was an awesome mix. Skrypnyk really takes the percussion out for a stroll, I couldn't be more impressed.
Sinewav
I like. A nice strong melody, but takes a backseat to some funky drums and an overall mellow/ambient vibe. Mellow and ambient are hard to do without being boring and repetitive, but I think you pulled it off pretty well.
apoc
Awesome mix! After listening to something like this, it feels immoral not to post some feedback. At first, I didn't like the voice samples, but they were so random that they made the melody stand out and grab you even more once the transition was done. This is definitely something very unique and very high quality - I love it!
ambient
Daaayyymn! This is some sick stuff Skrypo! Love it! Drums sound orgasmic, as usual. Rhodes and all the other elements come together really well in this piece. Very clever use of vocal samples. All I can say is - MORE!!!
