Brad Buxer confirms Michael Jackson as composer for Sonic 3

So it was true. We can at least confirm that SEGA kept and used one of his compositions for the Credits theme.

Finally, this will shut all the people up who kept saying "LOL ITS JUST A RUMOR." Anyone who heard the chord comparison between Strangers and the Sonic3 credits theme had to have known he was involved!

I'd have thought the fact that Stranger in Moscow and the ending credits for Sonic 3 are pretty much the same song, would have been confirmation enough. Nice to hear somebody actually say it though.

I was pretty convinced when I first saw this. When I heard the 'Jam' sample ripped from the rom, though, I knew it was more than just a rumor. Nice to see it confirmed.

Like how having The Rabbit Joint Cover disclaimer here shut up the people who kept insisting it was by System of a Down? =P

Still, the confirmation is nice.

I want to know how the hell you got someone as big as Michael Jackson to work on a video game in the first place. Geez.

Now if only my dreams of Phil Collins and/or Peter Gabriel scoring full game soundtracks would come to fruition...
