  2. An @aluminum joins the fight against Mizar and is selecting none other than the big Mizar's Palace track itself! It's big and epic and I can't wait to see what he has in store for it!
  3. Ho shit, BadAss! Good to see the series lives on. Good luck, guys!
  4. Yesterday
  5. Man I miss TPC's sweet, savory remixes. This is one tasty dosa.

  8. Guys, I know this is very simple and I have been trying to save my project for hours now.... I simply opened the 64-bit Fl Studio instead of the 32-bit that‘s the „standard“.It worked for me!
  9. Sorry to ask for a username change, but I've been releasing music under WiFiSunset and would like for my OC Remix handle to match that
  10. I'd like to officially welcome MkVaff to the team with his Renegade take on Dark Pit! A lot of other mixers are working on something behind the scenes so expect the list of mixes to grow a lot bigger in the not too far future
  11. Aside from all the other praise that I echo for this piece, I love the progression it features. For nearly 5 minutes it inexorably grows, fluctuates, deepens, and produced more to enthrall a listener. It's analogous to the gameplay of Metroid: you begin with simple capabilities and mechanics, which continue to expand in number and intensity. A gem among remixes, recommended to anyone.
  12. Will do. I'll try to have finalized versions for both by then.
  13. Mostly just needed to touch base; we haven't had the opportunity since the project revved up again. If you could send me what you got on May 31st, that'd be good enough. (y'all watch out, his tracks ARE really cool!)
  14. Hey, so Wayo Records is reissuing the SoA soundtrack on CD and vinyl for anyone interested, with a little shikishi (bonus card) as well. Looks beautiful, if you're a collector.
  15. "Spy Hunter" is actually already a remix of a jazz piece called "Peter Gunn" by Henry Mancini.
  16. Do you have specific things in mind regarding coordination? As far as mix progress goes, The Earth is basically done and I'm finishing up on Last Decisive Battle, which will hopefully be done within a week or so. I can send you current WIPS for both if you want.
  17. This one is special -- I very rarely comment on remixes, but this one takes me to another time -- somewhere in the early 90s perhaps. Beautiful chill jazz -- very classy feel. Especially love the beginning, and even the name fits perfectly. Thank you for this one -- some true talent here.
  18. Hey guys, it's been a minute since I did posted anything to the board. Working on this track and want to get feedback/ideas/critiques on the arrangement. This song is my current canvas for practicing some music theory stuff, but my ear isn't the best catching when harmonies and chords are 'off'. This is half the track so far; and the last 10 seconds of the song is just placeholder vomit to close what I have off. Appreciate it everyone!
  19. Ooops, I actually kinda forgot that this thing exists Life's been quite unfriendly recently, so I wouldn't be able to do much here anyway. I'll try to get in touch with some people who I'd like to see on board soon
  20. I'm going through (Bandcamp, Spotify, etc), and I'm noticing the mix is rather loud for a lot of my tracks. I have to turn the volume down to like 75-60 on my PC to get it sounding the way I intended to have the final tracks sound when post-editing the audio. Does Spotify, Bandcamp, and etc raise the levels of the songs posted at all? (I know part of it's that I got new headphones, but that shouldn't account for That drastic of a difference, right???)
  21. Thank you! It’s always interesting to hear what people’s favorites are. Swamp Luminescence came from a 2013 WIP that I pulled out of storage and reworked/finished. It was one of the key tracks when I was originally deciding on a tone for the album. Replumification, on the other hand, wasn’t started until everything else was finished. So you’ve kind of got the bookends there. I appreciate the compliment on the mixing. I’ve always seen it as my weak point, so I try my best to keep improving!
  22. Whoa! Loving this, and getting inspired by your mixing abilities. I remember listening to the Essence of Lime album when it came out. It's great to hear original tracks from you!
  23. Ohhh, so dope! I've been playing a LOT of JSR/JGR lately, and this is just what I needed. "Sneakman" is one of my personal favorites form the soundtrack because of how energetic and juicy it is, and Caleb did it a wonderful job arranging this song. He managed to maintain the crazy vibes of the original, while bringing a new dose of freshness and funk to the table. The instrumentation is also very reminiscent of the original - same insane chunks of slap bass, wah-wah, breakneck percussion, and yet there were some new details like the brilliant synth and organ solos! The abused vocal sampling may throw some people off, but I really like it - that is actually one of the features of the original composition that made it so attractive for me! The incorporation of bits of "Fly Like a Butterfly" was also very cool here - they shuffled the things a bit, while keeping everything quite cohesive, which is obviously always nice! Very good job, thanks for making this. Gonna put this one on repeat for sure
  24. The sax steals the show here. I definitely agree about the Costa Del Sol vibes, too.

  26. No worries! To be honest, it's the directors' responsibility to get into contact with y'all, as well. We just gotta give a bump and a nudge to people to keep em' on their toes. Thanks for the heads up!
  27. Sorry for being so absent, I'll definitely have my song done before the next weekend (26th).
  28. Nice to see sum wubulation indeed!
